Hotel Cabo de Hornos
"Back again after five years. I had room 807 on the top floor facing the plaza. It had a smallish double glazed dormer window that had seals that were hard, but due to the lack of traffic there was very little traffic noise. A bit of hallway noise due to the gappy door. I found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable. There was a sofa bed in the room but no mattress. Only Chilean PowerPoints in the room with no USB outlets. No kettle, no bottled water, no slippers, no robes. Hotel instructions and information including menus where via a QR code on one wall. Typical South American buffet breakfast with lukewarm runny scrambled eggs, nice hams and cheese. No bacon or sausages were offered. Average pot coffee. I ordered a poorly made bitter cortado the first morning and it cost $3,000 pesos extra. I had excellent dinners in the beautifully renovated Faro restaurant all three nights of my stay. One of the great things about this hotel is that there are free MTB bikes available for guests for the limited number of bike paths available. Would stay again."
Hotel Plaza
"It's a perfectly good hotel for one night. The staff is friendly. It's clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is weak. The atmosphere is vintage."
Hotel José Nogueira
Innata Casa Hostal
"This place deserves 10 stars out of 5, its perfectly located, very close to the bus terminal, super market across the street, the host is super friendly, really lovely decorated place, PERFECT BEDS AND SHOWERS, good breakfast, luggage storage when you check out later, walking distance to everything, I don't think you can find a better place to stay in Punta Arenas. Probably one of the best places I stayed in Patagonia!"
Hotel Mercurio
"I have been debating how to write this review. The facilities are definitely lacking. I would say 1-2 stars. It was clean, ish. But it was very loud - we were street level so ear plugs were mandatory. Also, the shower was VERY high up. It was difficult to get into and out of. The shower stopped working Sunday night and they did get someone in Monday to get it working again. The BEST part of this hotel was the fact they would work with you for breakfast times. We had breakfast at 5am and then 5:30am the next day when our tours were 6am or 6:15am. Now, my husband was horrified by the state of the bathroom floors. I pointed out that it was just the coating coming off. But yeah, this is definitely like a one star property. BUT! Their willingness to fix the shower and the willingness to do an early breakfast was super helpful. Would I stay here again? Probably not. But if you need a place that allowed check in at all hours, is centrally located, and works with you on breakfast and are okay with sub-par accommodations? Worth it. I would call this hostel level accommodations with very attentive service. They did do housekeeping services every day! But the accommodations are very dated and leave much to be desired. However, if check in flexibility and breakfast times are important, it’s worth it!"
Hotel Diego de Almagro Punta Arenas
"Love this hotel, always comfy and clean, didn't get to use the pool as too busy, but will return."
Hotel Boutique la Yegua Loca
Hostal Ventisqueros
"The room was too small, and the bed was narrow. The soundproofing was poor, and the sound of the shower running down the stairs was very noisy. There was no desk in the room, leaving no place for personal belongings. The breakfast and shower were good, though. Chinese hotels are still the best; they're spacious, comfortable, and affordable."

"Very friendly staff, room was quite good, breakfast good!"
Magellanicus Rustic Suites
"There are no hotels to choose from here."
Hotel Boutique Restaurant Kran Kreen
"Amateurish service. Cheap decoration (though it looks ok, the details are cheap). Awful breakfast (eggs OR cheese and ham), supermarket juice, etc. Tour group customers who make a racket at 0630. However, a great location, near the center amd many restaurants. Has parking. Good quality bed and sheets and plenty.of hot water. Apart from the tour group we got (unluckily) the location (and the city) is very quiet"
