"Ctrip's first ranking of Pujiang high-end hotels is a bit inconsistent. It is a mediocre hotel without so many outstanding features. I originally wanted to give it a five-point praise, but two small episodes were a bit sad. First, the check-in was a bit messy. The new guy at the front desk understood the situation, but was immature. A man who looked like a manager was pointing fingers from behind, which was particularly inappropriate. Why not just do it directly? Secondly, the most annoying thing is that there are guests smoking in the breakfast room and they don’t stop them. The employees just take a bowl and sing songs to eat. What’s funny is that after the lady in pink clothes sang, the uncle inside continued singing. The waiter’s voice was heard throughout the breakfast. There were only a few tables outside. After the meal, the guests were not in a hurry to clear up, but instead chatted and joked. The dishes are also bland and tasteless. I really don’t know if this first place was earned through brushstrokes. When I booked the room, the price was 199, but it turned out to be more than 170 on the day. There was no explanation of the price. I was speechless."

"Pros: The room was excellent; although small, it was clean and comfortable. The bedding was of good quality, and the receptionist was patient and polite. Cons: 1. The bathroom exhaust fan was extremely noisy. 2. The breakfast selection was limited, and the taste was average. The freshly cooked noodles were acceptable, but the milk and soy milk were extremely bland, likely due to excessive water added to the powdered milk. The complimentary bath pass was unused and cannot be reviewed."

"The room was very clean and the service was excellent. I booked one night and arrived late on the day of check-in. Originally, we only had one ticket to Wonder Park, meaning we wouldn't be able to enter the next day. However, the front desk kindly helped us apply for an extra ticket to Wonder Park, which was incredibly friendly for the children. Thank you! 🙏"

What really stands out is how friendly all the staff are – from the security guard at the entrance to the front desk receptionists and even the housekeeping aunties, everyone greets you politely. The room was clean and tidy, making for a really great experience."

"I went there for the hot springs. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable. 5 points The service staff are enthusiastic everywhere. 5 points The surrounding environment has mountains and water, but it lacks some characteristics. 4.5 points. Parking is convenient (above and below ground). 5 points Hot springs: 4.5 points. The water is pumped up from more than 2,000 meters underground, and there is a geothermal development certificate. The water quality is good. The hot springs supporting the hotel have stopped. The hot spring center was newly opened in January 2025. There are changing rooms on the first floor, indoor hot springs and lounges on the second floor, and rooftop hot springs on the third floor. Because there are too few people, only one pool is opened on the third floor (42℃ right), and 3 pools are opened on the second floor (35-39℃). I didn't see the "Cave Hot Spring" displayed on the Ctrip platform. (Maybe there is no such thing at all)."

"The front desk is very unprofessional. When I went to have breakfast in the morning, I was stopped by the people at the door of the restaurant and they said breakfast was not included. They asked me to go to the front desk to negotiate. I showed the order on the phone to a woman at the front desk. There was clearly breakfast, but she refused to admit it. She also took my phone and looked at it for more than ten minutes. I don't know what she looked at, and she just said there was no breakfast. A friend agreed to pick me up in the morning, but ended up wasting a lot of time just getting breakfast. Finally I had no choice but to tell the woman at the front desk that I was going to call Ctrip to complain about them, and she actually told me to go ahead and call. In the end, I called Ctrip, and the problem was solved after Ctrip called the hotel. Poor service, delays!"

We hadn't actually planned to go to Huangpu, but because the first trip was so memorable and we had so much fun, we decided to come back during the Chinese New Year holiday. This was our second stay at this hotel. We slept very comfortably. The hotel even kindly helped us share a bed. They responded promptly and delivered anything we needed quickly. Although the two large and two small beds were a little cramped when pushed together, we were still happy. The breakfast wasn't very lavish, and there weren't many choices. The freshly made egg pancakes were delicious. It would have been even better if they had soupy noodles, wontons, or dumplings. It was much more comfortable than the first hotel we stayed at in Jinhua."
