Our family had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day out. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. What impressed me most was how child-friendly the hotel is — my kids were happy from the moment we arrived, and they enjoyed every bit of their stay. From the thoughtful little touches to the welcoming atmosphere, everything made it easy and enjoyable to travel with children. The food was also outstanding, with a variety of delicious dishes that pleased both adults and kids. We will definitely be coming back!
Response from Property: Warm greetings and Mabuhay!Thank you for the kind words. We’re delighted your family enjoyed our spacious rooms, child-friendly environment, attentive staff, and delicious food.We look forward to welcoming you again at Sunset at Aninuan Beach Resort!

The staff couldn't have been nicer! The property was doing some renovations and went out of their way to not let it impact my stay. The food was excellent.

This is a beautiful little spot to relax and chill out. Very private, spotlessly clean and with amazingly friendly staff. Not the cheapest but I believe you get what you pay for and Sunset did not disappoint.

Room is very clean, beach front and amenities are complete. If you want privacy, this is the place to go. Staff are attentive especially Paul, Nilo and Joy. Our 4th time to book his place when in Puerto Galera.

The most important thing to say is that this is not a 4* hotel. This is an average 3* hotel. In terms of level. Below is a description in order. Room. I had a room with a sea view on the 2nd floor. The sea view is one third. Since the trees are growing and blocking the view, you look at the trees. And there are many rooms like this. Maybe for some this is a plus. There is a small balcony to sit, breathe some air and smoke, if you need to. The room itself is simple, but clean. It is obvious that it is not new. I would not say that it is broken down, but parts of the walls were painted at different times, this is visible, there are smudges, there is little furniture. There is no usual air conditioner, there is a fan unit in the wall at knee level. You cannot set the temperature, there are only two knobs - air flow strength and cooling strength. Directly to cool - no, the air conditioner did not cool the air, it made it a little fresher. That is, it is more of a fan than an air conditioner. It was impossible to cool the air at night and then sleep comfortably, it quickly became hot, and leaving this fan overnight was inconvenient - it was very noisy and blew on the bed. I had to get up and turn it on and off a couple of times a night. Bathroom. For some reason, shelves for clothes and shoes and a safe were placed here. Inconvenient. The safe did not work at all, it was all rusty. Of the toiletries, the hotel only provides liquid soap and shampoo. Poor for a 4* hotel, which it calls itself. No shower cap, no cotton accessories, no body lotion, no slippers - nothing. The water pressure is quite weak, the hot water comes from the water heater, so it is sometimes warmer, sometimes colder. Towels were changed regularly, the bed linen was simply tucked in. The room itself was cleaned well. Only the sand was not always swept clean, I had to ask again. There is a small teapot, coffee and green tea, a small refrigerator. I did not find a hair dryer and iron. Breakfast is included in the price, but it is simple. 2 pieces of toast, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, some fruit, tea/coffee. You can order something more decent from the menu, but for an extra fee. You can order lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. The prices are a little higher than in the restaurants on the beach, but the food is very good, the portions are large (unlike the beach restaurants, where it is problematic to find good food). The staff is very responsive, they will do everything you ask. The hotel territory is cleaned well. But there is little space in front of the hotel on the beach, so there are also few sun loungers. If the hotel is occupied, then there will definitely not be enough sun loungers for everyone. The entrance to the sea is pebbles with sand. In the morning, when the tide is in, it is comfortable to enter. But after lunch, when the water recedes, it is less comfortable, the pebbles on the bottom are exposed, it is painful to enter barefoot, it is better in aqua shoes. A separate thing that I did not like was the stray dogs. They wander everywhere, they are not chased away, they are not aggressive, but they still itch, reproduce, bite right there in front of your eyes. There are traders who walk around offering all sorts of crap, but they are not very intrusive, although they pester you consistently, even if they see you for the fifth time in a day. In general, it is worth saying that for the Philippines, the hotel is very good. The rest around are even worse)) But you need to understand that these are real 3* and do not expect 4* service.

Cozy hotel with a pleasant small area. Sun loungers, hammocks, tables with a canopy right on the beach and lovely, helpful staff - everything is created for relaxation and a relaxing holiday. The food is a little expensive, but tasty. Cocktails are fire. Recommendations for choosing a room - book above the 1st floor; friends' rooms with access to the beach seemed dark and damp. We lived on the 3rd floor, the room was spacious and bright, with a balcony and excellent sea views. We would return again with pleasure.

[GOOD] The room was clean and well-cleaned. You can see small fish while snorkeling right in front of the sea. The view from the restaurant is beautiful, especially the sunset. You can relax on the bed or hammock on the sand. The all-inclusive breakfast is *food (scrambled or fried eggs) and toast, fruit juice, coffee or tea. You can also order other items for an additional fee. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was free kayak rental. The pool was also kept clean. [Disappointing] The water pressure in the shower was weak. The shower was mostly water (solar?)

Actually only a 3 star hotel. Located about 4 km south of White Beach, Beautifully located, directly on the narrow sandy beach, Swimming in the sea was a bit difficult, the first 5 meters rocky, then sand again

This has got to be, hands down, our happy place. The charm of the place is undeniable. The architecture blends perfectly with the landscape. It is understatedly beautiful. It’s my first day of many holidays spent at this place and I can literally feel my stress peeling off my nape and forehead. The owner-host, Lexy is an undefeated visionary. She built this place nearly two decades ago, and it continues to defy time and stress. Kudos, Lexy! Thank you for keeping this place.
