"This wasn't our first trip to Bintan, but it was our first time at this resort—and it won’t be our last. From the moment we arrived, the experience was truly fantastic. A huge shout-out to Bahar from housekeeping, whose thoughtful little touches made our villa feel extra special, and to Tuni at the spa, who delivered an incredible treatment. The entire team was genuinely warm and helpful throughout our stay. We absolutely loved the garden villa. Having our own private pool gave us the perfect space to unwind as a family in total seclusion. One of our biggest worries was bugs getting into the room, but we were thrilled that the outdoors stayed exactly where it belonged—outside! We slept soundly every night without a single creature in sight. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of great options to start the day. We also appreciated the small luxuries, like the Bluetooth speaker that streamed music throughout the villa and the brilliant air conditioning in the bathroom (a game-changer!). If you book a villa, be sure to arrange the private van transfer to and from the ferry terminal—it makes the journey completely seamless. A wonderful, relaxing stay. We can’t wait to come back!"

"What suppose to be a 1 night stay turn into 2 nights stay! Cause my daughter love the place... Recommend fazly our driver for all 2 nights big shout out to him as he really good and bring us to what we want for our activities.... It's abit too far from the ferry terminal but it's worth it... The sceneries ans all the staff is very efficient and also very respectful. Just to take note there is no nearby eateries but got a small convinient store and tell the reception and they will get a driver for us to go for free... As we extended our stay they assist us to contact the ferry terminal but we have to go there and pay the rebboking fee... And breakfast was good too... For sure will be back again and stay at this hotel again.. Ps to the management it will be good if you could provide a microwave since sometimes we will buy food earlier and bring over as no local eateries nearby. Kudos to the team there for the excellent and pleasant stay.."

"I stayed at the Banyan Tree for two nights and it was truly comfortable and delightful. The entire service team was incredibly warm and polite, especially the lovely lady at the front desk who spoke Chinese; she was so gentle and attentive. The Rainforest Seaview Villa truly amazed me. I saw monkeys and creepers, among other wild animals, within the resort grounds, making it feel very close to nature. From the room, you can call the front desk to arrange a buggy service to the restaurant, beach, or for a massage. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western options available. The private beach boasts white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The food at the stunning Cove cliffside restaurant was genuinely delicious. All of the hotel's facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, feeling as good as new. Highly recommended!"

"I have celebrated my 19th wedding anniversary at this hotel. Overall I had a good and enjoyable experience staying here. Villa are spacious, clean and dinning experience also good with generous portion at The Dining room. With a good room decorated and complimentary cake for my anniversary we are really appreciating all the good gesture and preparation. The only down side is the hotel location are very far away from the ferry terminal which required 1 hour and 30mins journey and room lighting not sufficient and make the room too dimmed. And there were no minimart or convenient store in the hotel. Suggest to open a minimart to supply more snacks and gift shop selling the hotel souvenirs included the essentials oil shampoo."

"The villa’s location is a huge plus since it’s right next to Plaza Lagoi, giving you easy access to Mustafa and convenience stores whenever needed. Lagoi Bay Beach is also within walking distance, which made the stay even more convenient. The villa itself felt very private and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our 3-year-old had an amazing time in the private pool and barely wanted to leave. Breakfast was served in-room and was fairly simple, but the pancakes and American breakfast were definitely the better choices. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back for a quiet escape to unwind, swim, and relax by the private pool."

"We stayed with our family at the Kawaland glamping resort for 3D,2N. We had a very nice experience. The staff were sincere, hard working, friendly and courteous with all our needs. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and explained to us about the Indonesian cuisine. All the food that we tried at the restaurant was good! The glamping rooms were comfortable with spacious bedroom and bathrooms. The beach was only a walking distance from the resort & it was clean and beautiful. They also had swimming pools. We also had a good experience using the BBQ pit with the help of staff. We were also able to try the movie night with the projector at the beach bar. One area that could be improved is: During warm weather, the roof panels and the room interior gets quite hot. The AC alone was not sufficient. So it may need some other solution as well to keep the room comfortable. Otherwise, we had a chill, happy vacation at the resort! Would definitely recommend it to everyone."

"Stayed there for 4 days 3 nights for surprise birthday celebration! Gonna start off with the security at the entrance. It was good as they seem to really checked on who or which guest was entering the resort. 👍🏻 The resort was very nice, so spacious , very clean as well! The pool is really well maintain. Bed is super comfy. Have Netflix on TV. Requested for a room deco for surprise birthday , even tho the date of the deco gotten wrong, appreciate the reservation officer came personally to actually apologies. But I have to say the birthday deco is very pretty. I love it The team member and all the staff are very friendly , approachable and helpful. Prompt reply from the team In WhatsApp whenever anything was requested or asked Service was definitely 💯👍🏻 Ordered room service on the first day we arrived for dinner ( as it was late and raining outside ) - The food was actually really tasty. Breakfast was normal,not too bad, have nice beach view to enjoy. Arranged a romantic dinner for birthday , but sadly it’s raining heavily , location have to shift to inside the restaurant instead of by the beach. The setup was ok ok . Staff was so nice to sing a birthday song :) . Food was nice too , no complain Overall happy with my stay, it was a good experience, wish I could stay a little more longer ! Traveling with a toddler can be unpredictable, but the team here made our stay incredibly seamless and stress-free. What We Loved: Incredible Family Hospitality: From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make our little girl feel welcome. They were patient, smiling, and always greeted her warmly. Fantastic Toddler-Friendly Facilities: The amenities for young children are top-notch. Whether it was the shallow pool areas or the play spaces, everything was clean, safe, and beautifully maintained. There are both in and outdoor playground Seamless Convenience: The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were incredibly accommodating with our requests to ensure our toddler was comfortable throughout the stay."

"Staying at the Cabin Villa at De Bintan Villa has been such a delightful experience! I’m so happy to be back, and this time I had the chance to try their new cabin with its serene sea view. The staff here are incredible and truly made my stay feel warm and welcoming. Plus, the room was spotlessly clean, which made it even better. The journey started smoothly with Bobby, who picked me up and made the drive comfortable and enjoyable. Agus who sent me back to ferry terminal is awesome too ! At the Cabin Villa, Erni and Deka were always there with bright smiles and friendly service, making sure everything was perfect. Andy, who drove me between the Cabin Villa and the Cliff Cafe, was also exceptionally warm and friendly, which made the experience even more pleasant. At the Cliff Cafe, Suhardi and Seltiya provided attentive and helpful service, making me feel right at home. Overall, it was a wonderfully warm and enjoyable stay with a great room and kind people with beautiful smiles. Thank you so much for everything, and I can’t wait to come back again!"

"We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback."
