Bintan Hotels with Bars

The hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish. Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner. However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top. In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

We had an amazing time at FourPOintsbySheraton.. everything is just how we want it. Good walk on the beach, nice view by the pool and lounge and food selection is spectacular. Definitely will come bsck with the family 🥰 Awesome location too.

We had a blast at Anmon Bintan! Our group of 12 loved the unique glamping experience. The teepees were clean and comfortable, and the activities were a highlight. We had so much fun at the water park, riding ATVs, and kayaking through the mangroves. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Although there were a few minor waits for the buggy, it didn't dampen our overall enjoyment. One night wasn't enough to experience everything Anmon has to offer, so I'd recommend staying at least two nights to fully enjoy this amazing place! Food were expensive, we ordered from Warung Yeah!

1. good encironments and the facilities are not new but acceptable. 2. The most pity stuffs are Monopoly by the owner even the excuse is away from reasonable (private resorts) - no access to public taxi service say grab. Again the reason we told is the Nirwana resort is private one - due to the monopoly, there is limited restaurants for options: the one for breakfast (level 1). The one above the one for buffet (level 2) and Kelong restuarant facing the sea - the outstanding outcome from the monopoly is the pretty higher price for foods...I expect to have lunch at Kelong restaurant and in the end back after checking out the price in menu. Actually during the lunch time, there is no people having dinner except 1 or 2 guest to check out the good view facing the sea...pity !!! The postiive goes to some entertainment or activotoes in the hotel say swimming in outdoort pool. Sands and Bowling etc..... My proposal for their management is to open the service to guests in their hotel so there is more options even I will never come back to the hotel in Bintan...I has been to Batam before and the experience is better.... My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Indigo Hotel, and it more than met our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. A special touch was the thoughtful wedding anniversary decorations and the delicious chocolate cake left in our room – a delightful surprise that made our celebration even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place that offers excellent service, comfort, and special touches, Indigo Hotel is definitely the place to stay!

Excellent service in the resort. I asked if they could set up something complimentary for my mom's birthday and they did. A Happy Birthday banner and a small cake. Appreciate the effort. But the cake shall be improved in the texture, it's too dry. But still we are thankful. There's buggy service around the resort which makes it so convenient for my elderly mom with knee pain issue. The breakfast spread is good! On 27 July, we had a negative experience at a point. We booked a massage at D'Bintan massage outside the resort, with 2-way transport included. We booked 8.30pm and we were told to wait at the lobby area at 8.30pm. We were having our BBQ buffet dinner at The Patio, the spa girl stationed at the lobby came into the Patio restaurant, approached me at 8.20pm while we're still eating, and asked me if i booked the massage, i said yes. And she stood there looking at me. I looked at my watch and told her, i booked 8.30pm right? She looked at her watch and said ”ok yes 8.30pm” and left. Just 5 mins later at 8.25pm, she came to my table again and told me, the car is waiting outside already. At that point, i felt like she was rushing us to stop eating and go now, while we're still finishing up our food, which was quite rude. If its already 8.30pm and we're still eating, she can rush us. But we still have time to finish our food! Other than this, the stay and experience was all good.

Overall, the resort is acceptable. The resort is surrounded by the woods and far from amenities. Thus, if anyone likes to buy any goods, it would be quite difficult to access groceries. The resort restaurant costs around S$ 49 for 2 pax, which is inevitable as the place is pretty isolated. The fact is that nothing much choice is available in the menu. The resort is service apartment type and provided with lots of utensils for own cooking and usage. However, there is no groceries or min Mart nearby. The resort offered free time to time shuttle bus service which is good for all customers. Ferry and shuttle bus timetable us available at reception. Though we booked as a Garden view, we received car park view, bit it is okay for us since everywhere is quiet and tranquil.

Decided to book the residence bintan last minute for our anniversary celebration and weekend getaway. We booked one bedroom beach front pool villas and it was amazing!!!! WE LOVE IT. They decorated the bed and gave us the cake as a compliment. The hotel also provided the free land transportation from ferry terminals and return. Breakfasts were variety and international. The only thing is hotel location is far from the ferry terminals, it might feel a little tired if you only stay for 1 night. But overall, we would love to go back again. All the staffs were very responsive and very helpful.

Amazing experience at Doulus Phos ship hotel. Staying on this amazing Guinness world record ship is definitely one for the books for me. I was once able to bought a book on this MV Doulus when it was sailing to sell books worldwide. The view, the amazing staff and the facilities are truly one of a kind. It was monsoon when we stay that’s why we didn’t manage to enjoy the infinity pool. We would like to come back to experience the outdoor movie with bonfire, the infinity pool and the sunset dinner. The food is great (“, ) and we truly love the amazing warm hospitality of the staff. Definitely we will be back with our family during summer time. It is a good place for family, friends or a retreat. The facilities is huge, a lot if possible activities that can be done and enjoy and not to mention that the tranquility. There is also a spa, it is still under soft opening and still undergoing for improvement but nonetheless it is worth every penny you have.

This would have got an average rating had it not been for the staff - competent, professional and always willing to help. The facilities seem jaded maybe due to the Covid related lockdowns etc and some parts especially the toilets ( the toilet seat was almost black ) were a disappointment. The location is excellent with a fantastic sea view from the restaurant and the beach is clean for the most part. The villas are good with a nice private pool and decent sized rooms. Our requests for buggy to transfer us from our Villa to the main building were always attended to promptly. The a-la-carte food that we had in their restaurant- we tried the local Indonesian cuisine- was excellent but the breakfast buffet was average. When I had interacted with the staff after booking this place, I was told that late check out is subject to ‘availability’ but it clearly isn’t as they charge for every extra hour. This could have been communicated in a better way. There is room for improvement but overall we had a good stay as the property is quite good.
