"We had a wonderful stay at Four Points by Sheraton Bintan. From the moment we arrived, everything felt comfortable, relaxing, and well taken care of. The hotel has a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect place for a short getaway. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the overall ambience and the opportunity to slow down and simply enjoy the surroundings. The staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay, which made the experience even more pleasant. We also appreciated the convenient location and the lovely facilities. Most importantly, it was the perfect setting for a memorable weekend getaway. We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay and left feeling refreshed and happy. "We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Banyan Tree Bintan to celebrate my birthday and Mother’s Day. While the resort itself is lovely—we especially enjoyed our seaview rainforest villa—it was the people who made our stay truly unforgettable. The service and hospitality were incredible. The staff went above and beyond, from enthusiastically helping my husband coordinate birthday surprises to providing exceptional service at every meal. We were consistently impressed by the team members who delivered and beautifully set up our room service, the housekeeping staff who kept our villa pristine, and the thoughtful team who surprised my son with a fantastic turndown treat. The genuine care shown by the staff is the primary reason I would return, and I truly hope the resort continues to value and foster such an amazing team. Regarding the amenities, while the resort does show its age, it didn’t detract from our experience. Our only suggestion would be to refresh the villa pools, as we encountered some issues with water clarity during our stay. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would certainly recommend the resort for its world-class service. Shout out to Winny (reception), Daus, Lilik, Darwis, and Hamid who made our stay (and my birthday and Mother's Day) truly magical! I also want to compliment the staff of all three restaurants: Treetop (they made my son his favorite orange and carrot juice every morning), Saffron, and Cove — food was great but service even better."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at Mövenpick Bintan – Special Mention to Michelle! This was my first time visiting Bintan and also my first stay at Mövenpick Bintan, and honestly, choosing this resort was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The resort is huge, and since there is so much to explore within the property, they provide buggy services to bring guests around, which is really convenient. As Bintan doesn’t have a huge variety of attractions to explore outside the resort, we specifically wanted somewhere that could keep us entertained for 3 days and Mövenpick definitely delivered. We stayed while the resort is still under soft opening, so naturally there may be a few minor things that are still being fine-tuned. However, what impressed me the most was the service attitude of the entire team. Every staff member we met was professional, friendly and genuinely helpful. They always had a smile, proactively approached guests to check if we needed anything, and even took the time to have small conversations with us. I’m also a hotelier myself, so I can confidently say that the team here is doing a really great job, especially considering they are still in their soft-opening phase. A very special mention to Michelle, who assisted us during check-in. From the very beginning, Michelle was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a smooth and seamless experience throughout our stay. We did encounter a minor room issue during our stay, but she immediately followed up and made sure it was resolved as quickly as possible. What I appreciated even more was that she didn’t just solve the problem and walk away. Throughout our entire stay, she would proactively approach us and check whether everything was okay and whether we were enjoying our stay. That kind of genuine care really makes a difference. Michelle is honestly one of the best hotel staff we have ever encountered, and I truly hope the management recognises her efforts. She is definitely an asset to the resort. The Kids Club is huge, and our kids absolutely loved it! They even have a sleeping room and movie room for the little ones, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The resort also has multiple swimming pools, including the ocean pool, kids’ pool and the pool at the beach club, so there’s always somewhere different to enjoy. I personally loved all the little details around the resort, especially the kids’ amenities. Even the shower amenities provided for children were so thoughtfully prepared. It’s these small touches that really show the resort has put a lot of thought into the family experience. We also absolutely loved the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of choices, including plenty of pastries, desserts and even ice cream! One of my favourite touches was the kids’ corner, where children can actually get their own food. It may seem like a small thing, but it made breakfast more fun for our kids and was definitely a plus point for us as parents. Overall, despite still being in the soft-opening stage, we had a really wonderful 3 day stay at Mövenpick Bintan The combination of the beautiful and spacious resort, family-friendly facilities, thoughtful little details, great food and most importantly the genuinely warm service from the staff made our stay memorable. For our first trip to Bintan, I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better resort. If you’re looking for a place where you can simply stay in the resort, relax, enjoy the facilities and keep the kids entertained for a few days, Mövenpick Bintan is definitely worth considering. "The hotel is only 15 mins from the port and they were ready and waiting to collect us which is great for families. The place is immaculate and the staff welcoming. Best book your trips when in Bintan for better prices. Breakfast is brought to your room in the mornings and make sure not to leave any food out as the local wildlife loves to visit :). There is a small mall opposite a bit of shopping. Spa on site is very reasonable and excellent service. On the whole a very relaxing place."

"Our stay at Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Sleeping aboard a beautifully restored historic ship is a unique experience that you simply can’t find in an ordinary resort. The ship’s rich maritime heritage has been thoughtfully preserved while offering modern comfort, making the stay both memorable and relaxing. The hotel itself is highly rated by guests for its cleanliness, service, and distinctive character. The room was comfortable, clean and well-maintained, with charming nautical touches that reminded us we were staying on a real ship. Every corner of the property felt full of history, yet never outdated. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind from the moment we arrived. Watching the sunset from there was absolutely breathtaking. The complimentary heritage tour was also well worth joining, giving us fascinating insights into the remarkable journey of this century-old vessel. The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. They were always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel genuinely well looked after. Breakfast was delicious providing a great start to each day. However, one issue we encountered was the hot water supply in the shower. The hot water frequently ran out while we were showering, which was quite inconvenient and uncomfortable. This happened several times during our stay, so we hope the hotel can look into improving the consistency of the hot water supply. One thing to note also, the hotel location has limited dining and shopping options within walking distance. It’s a perfect destination if you’re looking to disconnect, relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings rather than a busy nightlife. Overall, Doulos Phos offers far more than just accommodation—it delivers a unique experience filled with history, beautiful scenery and genuine hospitality. If you’re looking for a memorable getaway that’s different from the usual beach resort, this ship hotel is absolutely worth a visit."

"WonderI had such a great and memorable stay here! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly by the team. We were even given an early check-in at 11am, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our arrival so much more comfortable. We rented a scooter during our stay, and I found the rental very reasonable. We also kept requesting the buggy whenever needed, and the staff were always helpful and accommodating. The next day, we requested a late check-out until 1pm, which was arranged for IDR 200,000. We also had lunch here, and the food was excellent — definitely one of the highlights of our stay! We had a BBQ on our last night, and the food was absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious, and it was such a wonderful way to end our stay. We also went for another round of archery, and when we returned, something really wonderful happened. One of the reception staff, Rizal (if I remember his name correctly), had found my cousin’s wallet, which we didn't even realise she had lost! We were so grateful for his honesty and attentiveness. It really showed how caring and trustworthy the staff are. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. The warm hospitality, helpful staff, great food and little touches throughout our visit made the experience even more special. Thank you to the entire team for taking such good care of us. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again! ❤️"

"We stayed at Hotel Indigo Bintan Lagoi Beach for three nights during our honeymoon, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel was beautiful, peaceful, private, and very comfortable. We especially loved the stylish design, relaxing atmosphere, pool, beach, and delicious food. What made our stay even more special was the wonderful staff. They remembered us and always greeted us warmly, and we could genuinely feel how much they cared about their guests. After checking out, we realized that we had accidentally left a bag of souvenirs in the lobby. The staff kindly delivered it all the way to Four Points, where we had moved. We were deeply touched by their kindness and will never forget it.🥹 We were extremely satisfied with our stay. If we ever come back to Bintan, we would love to spend our entire stay at Hotel Indigo rather than staying anywhere else. We already miss this wonderful place and would definitely return. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special and memorable! One small suggestion would be to improve the hotel’s online photos and promotional content. Before our stay, we honestly didn’t have very high expectations based on the photos we saw online. However, when we arrived, we were amazed by how much more beautiful the hotel was in person. The atmosphere, design, pool, beach, and overall scenery were far more impressive than the photos could capture. We think the hotel deserves better photos and more video content that truly showcases how beautiful and special the property is. The actual hotel exceeded our expectations by far!"

"At Nirwana Garden Resort, staff are friendly and genuinely nice. The beach is clean and clear waters that you can see fishes swimming around you… and watch sunset in the sea waters. Its windy and cool in the morning and evening. Food offered at good, esp the lamb shank stew. Also have nice spa - go for the Javanese massage! There are also 3 iguanas kept at the resort. We also went bowling and archery. At night we also went out for fireflies watching and kelong restaurant dinner."

"We stayed at The Residence Bintan for 2 nights and booked two different types of rooms for each night. Our second-night stay was at the One-Bedroom Beachfront Villa, which came with an excellent sea view and a private pool. We truly enjoyed our stay. The villa was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff provided exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. As we had booked two different room types, there would normally have been a three-hour gap between checking out of our first room at 12pm and checking into the second room at 3pm. However, before we checked out of our first room, we received a call from the reception informing us that our second room was already ready. We were therefore able to check in directly without having to wait for another three hours. This thoughtful arrangement made our stay even more enjoyable. On our last day, our ferry was scheduled to depart at 7am, so we had to leave the resort as early as 5am. The Residence Bintan kindly arranged transportation to the ferry terminal and even prepared packed breakfasts for us. We were genuinely touched by their thoughtfulness and hospitality. ❤️ From the warm service and excellent facilities to the beautiful views, The Residence Bintan made our anniversary trip truly memorable. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again! 🌴❤️"

"Room was a little dirty (we found bugs on the bed, lizards on the walls and cats meowing at the door when we were trying to sleep). Room service was good for the first few days, but over the thursday and friday it took 1 hour 30mins for 3 drinks to reach the room -- it was as if they forgot about our order. location is out of the tourist area on the east side of the beach, so not much to do at night but we already knew this before hand so no complaints there. Pool breakfast was great, food was decent and overall a decent stay for its price point, although definitely room for improvement"
