Great location just next to the Church of Saint Ildefonso. Walking distance to everything. I would give a 10/10

Quite basic room. Had air con which was a plus. Fit for a short stay couldn’t have stayed more than one night as all in one room!

This Chinese-run B&B is quite convenient for communication. The rooms are larger than a hotel, but the bathroom facilities are generally quite basic. The location is excellent, within walking distance of popular check-in spots. The owner is also very welcoming and helpfully marked popular Republican-era attractions on a map. Plus, the prices are quite affordable.

The room description stated there was parking, but in fact there isn't, and there's nowhere near the hotel. They suggest parking in the paid parking lot at the Ibis hotel—about a 10-minute walk away, and not very convenient with suitcases. The hotel (hostel) has a kitchen and utensils for heating and preparing food. There's a very large staircase at the hotel entrance.

The location is great and it's cozy! The room with the private bathroom is a little chilly at night because it doesn't get much sunlight, but the location is fantastic!

The location is great. No contact was made upon check-in. No response to emails. The long staircase leading up to the entrance was very tiring. Carrying luggage was also very stressful. There was no daily cleaning. There were three power outages on the last night of our stay.

The location is excellent. I can't remember the name, but there's a beautiful cathedral right next door. There's also a supermarket a three-minute walk away. There are plenty of pubs where you can go out for a quick bite at night.

It was very clean, uncomplicated, and spacious. Everything was perfect.

Super helpful staff, great location on a quiet street but right between 2 plazas, shared patio, beautiful rooms with balcony option, super clean shared kitchen so you can buy stuff at the market. We loved being able to have ice cream and ice coffee in the fridge! Most importantly, we had a unique problem. The post office lost ALL our luggage, It had nothing to do with the hotel, but Antonio helped us make phone calls (I don't speak Portuguese), he researched our tracking number, and finally after we were long gone home to the U.S, Antonio called us because he went to the post office on his own time and found our luggage!!! He even arranged to have it mailed to us in the U.S. He didn't need to do any of that, but he did.

We stayed at this hotel because we'd read positive reviews. I don't understand why we found something completely different. As soon as we entered, we found ants all over the room. When we opened the windows, we looked out onto the roof of the room below and onto the walls, which had probably rained the previous day. There was a lot of damp and stains. We only stayed one night. The shower ran very slowly, and I found myself with cold water halfway through. The bedside light in the room didn't work. The price wasn't cheap compared to what we found. The only positive thing about it is that it's close to the center. There was no one at reception, and they didn't give us an invoice when we paid.

Simple, clean and spacious rooms. Excellent location, very close to the center but in a fairly quiet context. Staff, although not always present in the structure, kind and helpful. Very competitive price.
