The environment is really beautiful. The facilities are relatively old. The rooms on the first floor are relatively damp. The restaurant in the hotel is also delicious. Overall, it is still recommended if you are here for vacation.

This stay was a terrible experience, totally unworthy of the price and the so-called star standard. Although the room was OK, the hotel environment was not bad, and there was a 24-hour gym, the overall service and management were really disappointing.
What I couldn't accept the most was the "stealing" after check-out. I checked the bill when I checked out, and there were only two restaurant charges, and I also asked at the front desk that there were no other charges. But the next day, there was suddenly an extra water charge. I didn't drink this bottle of water at all. I came back from the sea that day and found a puddle of water on the ground. The water bottle might have been frozen and cracked, not caused by me at all. This expense should not be borne by me, and the staff did not explain it in person. They quietly deducted the money after I left, which was very dishonest and made people feel cheated.
The restaurant was also disappointing. The steak and lamb at The Deck restaurant were bitter, completely inedible, and ridiculously unpalatable. The Lagoon restaurant was slightly better, but it was just average and not worth going to eat specifically.
Moreover, I originally booked two rooms, but only one was given on the day of check-in, because the other room had not been cleaned yet, and the delay seriously affected our check-in experience.
This hotel looks high-end, but in fact, the management is chaotic, the service is not in place, and there are even some deceptions. I will never come again, and I will not recommend it to anyone.
This stay was extremely disappointing and definitely not worth the price or the so-called star rating. While the room was decent and the hotel environment seemed okay with a 24-hour gym, the overall service and management were a major letdown.
What I found completely unacceptable was the unauthorized charge after I checked out. When I left, I confirmed the bill at the front desk — there were only two dinner charges, and I was told there were no other fees. However, the next day, an additional charge appeared for a bottle of water I never consumed. I came back from a boat trip that day to find a puddle on the floor and a water bottle that seemed to have burst, possibly from freezing. This was clearly not my fault. Yet instead of discussing it with me, the hotel silently charged my card after I left — an extremely dishonest move that felt like a scam.
The restaurants were equally disappointing. The Deck served steaks and lamb that were inexplicably bitter and completely inedible — some of the worst food I’ve ever had. The Lagoon was slightly better, but still just average and not worth a special visit.
On top of that, I originally booked two rooms, but when I arrived, they only gave me one, saying the other wasn’t ready yet. It took ages to sort out, which seriously affected our plans.
This hotel may look upscale on the surface, but the reality is poor management, subpar service, and shady practices. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and honest hotel experience.

As a resort hotel, the overall environment and food are quite good. I spent a day in the hotel, had a meal, and swam. Life was very enjoyable and comfortable. Although the hotel room is a bit old, it is spacious and bright.

The hotel is really too old. The bottom of the pool is peeling off. The room is also very damp. We booked a room with direct access to the pool. There was a dead beetle lying in the room. The bedding was also very bad. It was the most uncomfortable night's sleep. We checked out immediately the next morning. The only good thing in the hotel is the Lagoon restaurant. The food is very good. Avoid thunder

Apart from the slightly high price, there is nothing to complain about. The hotel has beautiful scenery, is clean and sanitary, has free parking, has several lagoon pools, and is close to the beach. In addition, there is a unique aromatherapy in the room that is very pleasant to the smell. It is the first choice for staying in Port Douglas.

See the previous comment, this order is for an extended stay. After the last time I booked Lone Pine Penang through Marriott Bonvoy and got hit by a landmine and the hotel did not explain at all, I have completely given up on the useless Marriott member benefits. When booking a hotel on Ctrip, the customer service can solve any problem. Isn't it better than useless points?

Very satisfied. Although the facilities are relatively old, the service is very good and the transportation is very convenient. There is a helicopter pad opposite.

As soon as I entered the toilet, I found dirt on the floor and the room's sofa was very dirty. We arranged golf in the morning and asked to go back to the hotel to check out after playing, but were refused. The overall resort experience was not ideal.

The hotel environment is okay. The reason why I gave it such a bad review is because the hotel arranged a small seven-passenger bus for us. I forgot my small bag on the bus, and I still have more than 2,000 Australian dollars in my passport, ID card, and the hotel kept saying they couldn't find it. As for the driver of the car dealership, there was no news for several hours. Until I went to the police station to call the police and the police called to ask, they said that the CCTV did not capture me taking the bag, and they said that it was not in the car. I paid for the meal at the restaurant at 1:40, and went to the lobby to take the bus at 1:50. The bag is in the car. In short, they just refused to take responsibility and find me a driver. I didn't expect an international five-star resort to do such a thing. The hotel's car operator could tell me which car I couldn't find. After calling the police, I immediately told the police that they had found it for me and couldn't find it. They didn't contact me for several hours to tell me if they could find it, even though they knew I needed my passport to board the plane. Everyone should be careful when checking into such a completely irresponsible hotel. I couldn't get to the hotel all night and was penniless, all because the hotel arranged a car for me. If I call Uber directly, I can still find the car owner and get the certificate back without paying cash. But the hotel refused to hand over the driver and license plate. I really didn’t know what to do in a foreign country.

There is a large lagoon pool within the hotel, so you can fully enjoy the resort feeling within the hotel. Port Douglas was a very comfortable place where time seemed to flow more slowly, so I definitely recommend it.

It's really bad. There is no safe guard in the outdoor pool. The water depth is 2 meters 2 without any sign. The facilities are old and the air conditioner in the room leaked all night. The outdoor environment is beautiful. The worst resort hotel I have ever stayed in. The managers all hung up one by one🙄🙄
