Hotel e Pousada Chalana
"I recommend a very nice place... Special care and without counting that Mr. Andre give us the honour to tell the beautiful and wonderful stories of the place and our great pantanal. Familiai Challana always available. Parabens I love staying in this hotel."
Hotel Pantanal Mato Grosso ★★
"The hotel is very well located for exploring the Pantanal. The pool was moderately clean but adequate. The children's play area was dangerous; my daughter hurt herself on a swing that lifted up. The food was decent but not the best in Brazil. The rooms were very basic, with bathrooms offering minimal comfort. The boat trip was excellent, with views of capybaras, tapirs, and numerous birds. The nighttime excursion was also good. We were supposed to go horseback riding, but a jaguar had attacked and injured a horse early in the morning. We sensed the guide was tense, and we understood why, so the horses were skittish, and we abandoned the idea. There were many magnificent birds in the hotel grounds, with a beautiful view from the elevated area, and numerous caimans near the hotel in the river. The aperitifs were very good, with a fire outside to create a warm atmosphere."
Pousada Piuval ★★
"The inn is beautiful, Large swimming pool, Great restaurant (very good food and beer too) Super attentive staff (we arrived at night and the attendant packed us a snack, as there was no more dinner) There are several tours such as safari, horseback riding...To observe the fauna, including the most famous jaguar (it appeared at night walking around the inn) Veterinarian Paul leads a survey of the local fauna with the Ampara NGO and the inn."
Pousada Rio Claro ★★★
"The pousada is very well located, right on the river. You can see many birds. The food is great, with a very wide selection. The staff is very friendly."
Pousada Araras Pantanal Eco Lodge ★★
"Great ! Very relaxed, eco friendly with great staff & guide. Excursions early morning 7am-10:30pm then downtime until late afternoon/evening trips. FANTASTIC exo pool to chill by during the day, felt like Pantanal experiences & beach all rolled into one!"
