The Atholl Palace ★★★★
"Rather disappointing. A fabulous location and architectural building now offering overpriced food and wine in a tired hotel looking like it might have been in the 1970s. Filled with coach trip parties and staffed by Asians and East Europeans, it was disappointing not to find a real Scottish welcome in such a magical building. Food was exorbitant! Over £250 for an ordinary / disappointing 3 course meal with a bottle of wine for the pair of us. Such a shame."
Fonab Castle Hotel ★★★★★
"Nice environment with beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning, especially during hot weather."
CBH Scotlands Spa Hotel ★★★
"Great location for town centre and though we didn’t drive there was a very large carpark. Got into room half hour early. Room was a double deluxe and a good size. Very clean, can’t fault cleanliness anywhere in the hotel. En-suite was spotless. Room bed was very comfortable. Iron, ironing board, fan, robes and slippers provided. Coffee machine as well as kettle with tea, normal coffee and hot chocolate. Bar was well stocked and a competitive price for for town. Breakfast had a good selection for both continental and hot offerings. Swimming pool is good to have and was well used but never overly busy. Main areas were nicely decorated and furnished and complimented the building but the decor in the likes of the halls and stairways as well as the bedroom itself in need of a bit of modernisation. All in all a very good stay and would return."
The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel ★★★
"The location is good, not too far from the town, the hotel can swim, the swimming pool is a bit short"
Fisher's Hotel ★★★★
"Well located hotel just 2-3 mins walk from Pitlochary Station exit to hotel back gate 👍🏻. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in providing/recommend places of interests. Breakfast is a must have, pretty good with traditional dining area. Room are clean, well maintained and spacious (room facing Garden). The Dam and Fish Ladder is just 20mins walk from the hotel. Thank you Fisher team!"
Loch Rannoch Highland Club ★★★★
"This is a lovely place to stay, very peaceful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our shower broke half way through our stay and it was fixed pronto along with a bottle of prosecco as a little gesture. The complex over looks the loch amd Sheihallion mountain. Spectacular!!!"

"Great spot to stay. Comfortable rooms and beds. Very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. Location is easily walkable to the main public areas of Pitlochry. We had a great stay."
Craigroyston House & Lodge
"A very beautiful house and garden located right in Pitlochry. I was car free so it was a bit of a walk to get my cases there but once you’re checked in you can come up from the bottom of the garden which is very handy for exploring the town. The room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was extremely delicious and Greg was a wonderful host - always checking in to see how to help make my stay more comfortable and helping with local information. I cannot recommend this lovely stay more highly! It was easy to catch the bus to The House of Bruar and to Blair Castle located nearby. Oh and at the bottom of the garden is where Heather Gems -you’ll see in gift shops all over Scotland are made!"
Pine Trees Hotel Pitlochry
"Big shoutout to Rohan and team (Raz, Jimmy, Caylei, Brontë, Nicki) who gave us a welcoming stay at Pine Trees with their friendliness and great hospitality. We got upgraded to a Mansion Room and the room was spacious and cosy, I love the chic homey interior and large screen TV which comes with Netflix. The food and drinks we had in the Lounge was delicious! We ordered the Steak Burger and the Mac and Cheese. As we were travelling with 2 huge luggages, Rohan was very kind to send us to our next hotel within Pitlochry. We were very happy with our stay, and we would definitely recommend this hotel."

Birchwood Pitlochry
"Absolutely stunning hotel: clean, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated rooms in a beautiful setting. The food and drinks were fantastic: sat in the impressive but cosy and relaxed main dining area with beautiful woodlands as a backdrop, it really was one of the highlights of our trip."
Port Na Craig Inn
"A lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade. Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too. The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax. Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated."
The Claymore Guest House and Apartments
"Just a short walk to the centre of Pitlochry, the accommodation is comfortable with helpful staff. While the room was “plain” it was very large and overlooked their lovely gardens. The ensuite was lovely and updated. There was a good choice at the included breakfast and they were quite accommodating to fix a different type of egg for me. Parking is on the premise and handy."
The Inn on the Tay
"From the moment we walked through the door until we left, every member of staff made us so welcome, nothing was too much bother. We were a group of 4 couples staying for 2 nights, with dinner, B&B. The hotel and rooms were immaculate. The bedrooms are really spacious with everything you could want. The bar had a really cosy, warm feel and there was a lovely, lively atmosphere. The food was excellent with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We would definitely come back again as the hotel was a great base for exploring the many lovely places nearby. All of our party loved it."
Tayview Lodges
"Lovely lodge. Very clean and well-equipped. Very warm, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Excellent communications from the owners Georgina and Ross. Hope to stay again."
