The Atholl Palace
"Beautiful accommodation, surrounding are great , beautiful walks within the area . Service 100 % , cleanliness 100% . We only have 1 disappointment the bed was not comfortable, we have definitely slept in better ."
Pitlochry Youth Hostel
"Went with two daughters for a birthday weekend. Brilliant location with stunning views from the dining room. The staff were warm and friendly. Well equipped kitchen. Internal decor a bit tired. Good sized rooms. Good price. Interesting town. Recommended."
CBH Scotlands Spa Hotel
"There was a power unit, located on the flat roof below our window, which cut on/off all night. When the power was on, which was every 20 mins or so for approx.2 mins, the noise and vibration was unacceptable and I had the worst night's sleep I have ever had at any hotel. I told reception the following morning, a weak apology was all I received."
Fisher's Hotel
"Travelling for the first time just my daughter (4) and I, and the service we received was exceptional. Initially there was a mix-up with room sizes and only a double was available. While that was fine with me, my little in wanted her own ‘big girl bed’. The staff brought her some little treats to ‘sorry’ but still worked some magic and found us a twin room. They really went out of their way….for a 4 year old! Good variety on offer for buffet breakfast all of which was warm and good quality. I’ve stay at the Fishers previously in different group sizes and have always found tue service and value for money fantastic."
McKays Hotel
"Nice and comfortable hotel. It also has a pub for drinks and dinner, which made our stay very easy."
The Old Mill Inn
Craigatin House & Courtyard
Knockendarroch Hotel
"The location of the hotel is not the most accessible especially if you do not drive, we were lucky to get a taxi to the train station. The hotel is located in a heritage building so there are no lifts, it is recommended to travel light. What we enjoyed most is our time at the lounge as it is relaxing in front of the fireplace. The balcony rooms also come with a great view of the charming town."
The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel
"The location is good, not too far from the town, the hotel can swim, the swimming pool is a bit short"

The Inn at Loch Tummel
"The Inn at Loch Tummel is located on the roadside overlooking the loch. It has fabulous views across the loch and surrounding hills especially in the beautiful weather we had. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was very good. We slept well in the comfortable bed. There are no tvs in the hotel. We ate breakfast (twice) and dinner (once). Breakfast was very good and dinner was good. Our choice at dinner was restricted by lack of availability. Service all round was good and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We would go back."
The Ballinluig Inn
The Poplars Guest House
"I'll come again, great accommodation"
Birchwood Pitlochry
"Absolutely stunning hotel: clean, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated rooms in a beautiful setting. The food and drinks were fantastic: sat in the impressive but cosy and relaxed main dining area with beautiful woodlands as a backdrop, it really was one of the highlights of our trip."
Fonab Castle Hotel
"Beautiful place and friendly staff, loved the pool and breakfast was excellent with views over the loch."
The Old Manse of Blair, Boutique Hotel & Restaurant
"Lovely stylish room with every amenity you could want."
Craigmhor Lodge & Courtyard
"Good hotel and great location. Walking distance to the town centre and the dam. Breakfast is great. It is a good stopover from Edinburgh to Ness area."
Loch Rannoch Hotel and Estate
"Nice hotel in a great location. With good sized and clean rooms. The bar meals in the evening can be busy and they weren't able to accomodate for one night. Also, breakfast starts quite late at 8 am, so can be very busy a hectic when it does begin. A 7 am breakfast start would ease that and be helpful for business travellers and walkers with an early start."
The Claymore Guest House and Apartments
"The area is very good, the staff behaves professionally and is very helpful and there is always a good atmosphere to be in."
Port Na Craig Inn
"A lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade. Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too. The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax. Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated."
The Inn on the Tay
"From the moment we walked through the door until we left, every member of staff made us so welcome, nothing was too much bother. We were a group of 4 couples staying for 2 nights, with dinner, B&B. The hotel and rooms were immaculate. The bedrooms are really spacious with everything you could want. The bar had a really cosy, warm feel and there was a lovely, lively atmosphere. The food was excellent with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We would definitely come back again as the hotel was a great base for exploring the many lovely places nearby. All of our party loved it."
Carra Beag Guest House
"Excellent experience just this week. Lovely room. Mark and Helen great hosts nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts 10/10. Great location central Pitlochry. Great views. We were fortunate to have amazing weather sitting out in glorious sunshine one afternoon. Recommend this venue and will return. Thanks again. Kathy and Brian."
