Pingyao Guangxianyuan Inn (Rishengchang Branch）

Such a lovely, most lovely place. While much of Pingyao has turned into a theme park of excessive tourism (it is a well preserved “ancient” city, but turned commercialized and going to become even more as massive renovations continue across Pingyao), this sweet Guangxianyuan Inn is an oasis from the tourist madness. So well restored, beautifully renovated, kind staff, and the best part…only the sounds of birds can be heard in the courtyard. The price for rooms is also wonderful. I would stay here again, even longer…✨

The hotel is located inside Pingyao Ancient Town, close to North gate entrance and city wall, walking distance from pingyao railway station. From the entrance to their yard, the hotel designed traditionally beautiful. The room is good, with amenities and wi fi. The owner are nice and friendly, they will ready to assist you at any time. The breakfast is simple and good, the auntie there is nice and friendly. Overall, i recommend this hotel, cleanliness, budget wise, great service, and good location.
