Great location, quiet neighborhood but not far from the center. The room is clean , comfortable and has the atmosphere of an old traditional home. It is the service that needs significant improvement to warrant the current four star rating.  The price was for two people and yet, there was one tea bag per person, a very small roll of toilet paper and the facial tissue bixes were almost empty. The breakfast was no better: ine boiled egg, a small bun, a bowl of sweet porridge and a tiny slice (about one tenth) of a sweet potato and a root vegetable, with a tiny portion of pickled cabbage. For a mainland B&B well below standard. What’s more, the old nan who was on duty in the morning would pick up dirt from the floor while handling food with bare hands and had trouble finding toilet paper in the storage room while I waited outside in freezing weather. The host is friendly and helped with orientation and organizing transfers to the railway station, so with little improvement in service this could be a good choice for Pingyao.

A perfect home in the ancient city, what a great experiance!! The host is super helpful, the room very clean, the breakfast was yummy 😋😋 I only regret that I haven't been there in summer to enjoy their beautiful courtyard for a coffee, take s look on the photo 😍

This lovely hotel gets 6 out of 5 stars!! It is located a 5 min. Walk from the main street, not too far of the gate where you can catch a taxi to the train station. However the hotel organised a pickup from the gate, which they did not charge for. The room is probably the best room we have rented ever, definitely in this price range you won't find a better one. It was super clean, new, huge comfortable bed, everything was working as advertised. The bathroom is super modern with the most advanced toilet. Outside the room is a lovely sitting or smoking area where you can chill. The host is really attentive and friendly, perfect. I can recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed!!

Lovely feeling in courtyard, especially in the evening. Friendly helpful family management team. In a quiet corner of the old city, which is good once you arrive but a bit of a walk to visit the sites. Good home made breakfast.

I like the hotel yard. The boss is very enthusiastic and explained the route to visit the ancient city in detail. It is a bit far from the core area, but the hotel has free bicycles, which is more suitable for young people. The restaurant recommended by the boss is very good👍

The boss's service is very nice! ! The antique courtyard has a big earthen kang in the room, which is very warm. We arrived at the parking lot at 12 o'clock in the evening, which is a little far from the hotel. We picked up and dropped off the whole way! ! It is very suitable for girlfriends and family travel🤗🤗

The room is the old wing room, a little cramped. But this is the limitation of the old house, making a temple in a snail shell. The boss and his father are very warm and thoughtful, and they are always responsive. I talked with the boss's father for half an hour, and he introduced it to me in detail, avoiding pitfalls. The homemade vinegar and beef sold in the store are very good, recommended. The beef tastes the same as Guanyun, and there is no thunder. The boss is also responsible for express delivery and follow-up. He did not exhaust the pond for tourists who may only come once. He has a long-term vision, which is precious at this moment. Because it is winter, I am still worried about keeping warm. After arriving, I asked the boss if there is an electric blanket. Later, it turned out that the worry was unnecessary. There are two electric heaters and an air conditioner, and it is not cold at all when it is turned on. There are high-value bicycles in the inn, which are suitable for lazy people like me who don't want to walk. But riding a bicycle is a bit tiring and hard to pedal. In short, next time whether I go to Pingyao by myself or my friends and family go to Pingyao, I will choose this one first.

Located in the Pingyao Ancient City Scenic Area, it is convenient to visit the ancient city. The battery car pick-up and drop-off, the room is antique and unique, the owner is very enthusiastic and provides necessary help. The downside is that it is a winter trip, the bathroom is cold and the water temperature of the instant water heater is unstable.

The advantage of being far from the downtown area is that it is quiet. The most important thing is that the house and the room are really nice, and the inn owner is also very nice.

The courtyard of the Qing Dynasty is ancient and quiet, with new facilities. The boss's service is very good, he gave us a detailed explanation and responded to our requests. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the core attractions of the ancient city. In short, I am very satisfied.
