"I had a fantastic trip here in November that could’ve been a disaster but wasn’t due to the amazing manager (Branov) and all the employees. I came specifically for the wellness treatments, so was excited for a weeklong stay. Unfortunately when I met with the dr to prescribe a plan, a condition I have precluded me from any of the treatment I’d specifically come to receive. I’d written in advance to double check this was ok, and unfortunately received a reply that led me to believe I could. After graciously accepting their mistake, the team did everything they could to ensure my stay was still a good one. The property is beautiful, the surrounding area was great to explore ( esp if you like country walks or trail running). I also loved the outdoor pool and infrared sauna. It ended up being the fantastic relaxing trip I’d wanted, just worked out differently than I’d planned. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you double check any pre-existing conditions with the clinic (being as specific as possible)"

"During the summer, my family and I had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The pool's water temperature was just perfect. Although we had to deal with some bad weather, we still enjoyed the pool, which was rarely crowded; in the evenings, we often had it to ourselves. The surroundings were beautiful, and it was just a short walk to the city."

"Grand Hotel, Piešťany. Stay from November 3–6, 2025. Two persons. A very disappointing experience at a property rated as 4 stars but not reflecting that standard at all. • Room never cleaned during three days, fridge switched off and full of mold. • Bathroom in terrible condition: limescale in the toilet, mold in the shower, small and impractical sink, unhygienic fittings. • Breakfast poor and of low quality; shockingly, coffee was charged as an extra despite being included. • Relaxation area with jacuzzi dirty and neglected. • Safe unstable and insecure, easily removable. In summary: neglected property, inadequate services, and quality far below expectations. The four-star rating is completely unjustified."

What started as a holiday has already become a wonderful tradition that we look forward to every year. We truly love coming here. It is a place where we can relax, take care of our health, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and simply feel good. The friendly and welcoming staff, the cleanliness throughout the hotel and the beautiful surroundings make every stay very pleasant. We also really appreciate the varied and delicious food. This year, upon our arrival, we had a consultation with Dr. Glazachev Mykola, MUDr. We would like to express our special thanks to him for his professionalism, attentiveness and personal approach. He carefully considered each of our health conditions and prepared an individual course of treatments for us. We felt that we were in very good and caring hands. A heartfelt thank you also goes to the entire team at the Balnea Centre. Your kindness, attention and positive attitude create such a warm and relaxing atmosphere during the treatments. "We visited Piestany only for 1 day and stayed in Zuckman Villa apartment. We were surprised how beautiful is apartment designed. We ussually dont like to stay in different places other than our home, but this Place is unique and we felt very good in here. "I will start with the very positive..The rooms are large spacious spotless clean well appointed and truly very good. the hotel is largely incredibly clean. This is a spa hotel that has to decide which market it is catering to ...a mass of impoverished older people or a select richer bunch.. i do wish to categorically state the food provided is genuinely revolting...and I like Slovak food..and the standard here is abysmal. No wonder the Germans have left en masse. I would stay here again but not indulge the restaurants or some of the rather unpleasant staff running some of the treatments. And a big warning ...people say they speak English German etc and they most emphatically do not. So in summary ok but avoid the restaurants."
