Pienzalettings Suites ★★★★

📍 Piazza S. Carlo, 4, Pienza

"A very amazing hotel (homestay?), located in the ancient city, very historical, but the interior of the room is very clean and tidy. The room is very large, about 30 square meters or more, the room decoration style is Mediterranean style, very chic, the picture on Trip.com does not reflect its beauty at all, it is recommended that if you want to stay in Pienza for one night, friends can come to this room to experience it."

📍 Corso il Rossellino, 97, Pienza

"1. Breakfast was leftovers from the previous night; I found it in the fridge the night before, and it was still on the table the next day. 2. The clock tower is right next to the window, chiming every half hour, making it impossible to sleep. There's also a landline phone next to the room that rings in shifts with the clock tower. 3. The bathroom is shared, not in the room. There are several twisted, rickety steps; I almost slipped and fell when I went to use it in the middle of the night. 4. They didn't keep their promise: they promised a room with a bathtub and toothpaste and a comb. When I arrived, they didn't provide any of these and made me pay for them myself. 5. There were damp insects everywhere. 6. They tried to charge me a separate cleaning fee? And the room wasn't even cleaned. This place is a scam."

La Bandita Townhouse

La Bandita Townhouse ★★★

📍 Corso il Rossellino, 111, Pienza

"What a jewel. So much to enjoy in this lovely hotel (n this well-appointed former convent) and its surroundings in the heart of Tuscany. Everything in the hotel was tasteful, comfortable, and immaculate. The service was warm, helpful, and knowledgeable. The city is charming. And the surrounding areas lush green and breathtaking - with the rest of Tuscany easy to reach by car."

Hotel Rutiliano

Hotel Rutiliano ★★★

📍 Via della Madonnina, 18, Pienza

"Centrally located hotel in the heart of Pienza. Everything was perfect: modern and clean rooms, free on-site parking available for guests. The pool was a welcome addition during these hot days. The breakfast was amazing, both sweet and savory, with excellent homemade products (not least the yogurt from the famous Cugusi dairy!). The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to make us feel at home. We'll definitely be back!"

📍 Via della Madonnina, 11, Pienza

"Overall, a great experience. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent. The hotel's location is convenient for transportation, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it to everyone."

Podere Spedalone

Podere Spedalone ★★★★

📍 Province of Siena, Pienza

"The night spent here was wonderful, and I highly recommend having dinner here. It was incredibly romantic, with a relaxing, pastoral atmosphere, perfectly complemented by music and champagne. We came in the summer, and there was no air conditioning, so the staff weren't as friendly as we'd hoped. The facilities were also relatively basic, which is understandable for a farm stay. Nevertheless, I still highly recommend it for a truly wonderful evening."

Affittacamere Maria Gabriella

Affittacamere Maria Gabriella ★★★

📍 Viale Marino Cappelli, 6, Monticchiello, Pienza

"This was our second visit and we immediately felt pampered. Guido is truly a wonderful person, available for any need, not to mention the clean and well-kept house located under the walls of Montichiello. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade savory and sweet options. We will definitely be back!"

"Pienza was one of the best towns so far on our bicycle trip from Florence to Rome and PienzalettingSuites were equally good, esp the room size and interesting layout and decor. The hosts were also excellent, esp with locking up our two bicycles inside their next door shop and trusting us with their key so we could unlock to leave early in the morning. We loved the charming town and the accommodation enough that we'd return anytime in future."

Rossellino® ★★★
"Renovated historic building with a lovely terrace. Decent room with spartan furnishings featuring different styles, definitely in need of a reconciliation. But it's clean, which is what matters to us. Bottled water and a coffee maker are provided for guests. The bathroom has been renovated, but the bidet and toilet are too close together. The breakfast was good, with cakes, croissants, and more. Gluten-free options are also available. The owner is very kind and always available, and gave us lots of advice. It's clear he loves his job and puts his heart into it. A good location within the city walls, with free parking at the nearby seminary, a 10-minute walk away."

La Bandita Townhouse ★★★
"Our private Tuscany townhouse! Note: We traveled the week leading into Christmas and the entire town and the neighboring areas were all very quiet. There were a few restaurants and shops open but the town itself was very empty, with no tourists (which was great for us). My husband discovered La Bandita in CN Traveler and we were so excited to check it out. It was the perfect destination for our holiday getaway. Paola and Alessio were very helpful with helping coordinate the trip. They helped with restaurant reservations and gave great recommendations of things to do. Ask them about the thermal baths/pools at Albergo Posat Marcucci - they'll help arrange and provide a voucher. We were upgraded to a bigger room (because we were the only ones there) which was really comfortable. The bathroom was large with the tub, a shower, and a heated drying rack. Great water pressure from the shower. The one downside was there was this musty smell throughout the room - I think it's because of the lack of air circulation throughout. There's a restaurant onsite that had amazing reviews but it was closed for the holiday. We'll have to go back. There is also a beautifully designed "living room" where they have a record player and records, games, books, and a bar - they offer free prosecco apertivo and then everything else on an honor system. We didn't get the full Bandita experience but will definitely be back. "

"One of the best hotels in Pienza! The shower was well-separated from the rest of the bathroom, which I really appreciate. My room even had a large balcony. Getting there from Siena was super convenient too, as the bus stop was right next to the hotel."

Hotel San Gregorio ★★★
"The hotel is not far from the entrance to the ancient city of Pienza. The hotel faces the street, so when you arrive, a parking space in front of the hotel is occupied, and there is no slope to go up and down at the other temporary parking space, which will be troublesome. The hotel's dedicated parking lot is in the underground garage at the back entrance. There is no decoration or management staff. It is not worth charging 20 euros per day. The room is okay and the suite is big enough. What I want to complain about the most is the restaurant in the hotel. The food tastes average and seems to be pre-heated, but the prices are not cheap. Late comers should be careful to avoid this pitfall. We forgot to give the guest discount after paying the bill for dinner."

"- Because the buildings here are all old and historic, the rooms are simply decorated (but very clean!) You can experience the local feeling of southern Italy~ - The courtyard is super large! Looking out during the day is a green expanse, and watching the sunset at night is also beautiful! - The boss and employees are very nice, English communication is completely OK, and the boss also has three very docile and cute dogs - ❣️The key point! ! The food is very delicious! ! ! I highly recommend everyone to experience it. The dinner we went to was homemade pasta, beef cheeks, and a goat milk ice cream dessert. From the presentation to the taste of the food, it is not inferior to the Michelin restaurant I ate in the past few days. At dinner, guests from various countries would sit at a long table and eat and chat, which was a very interesting experience~"

"Fabulous bed & breakfast with Guido and his Aunty. We stayed 5 nights to enjoy Tuscany to its fullest as we had a hire car. The house is in a prime location just outside the ZTL for Monticchielo which is a beautiful little village with lots of great restaurant options for your evenings. The room we had was adequate although the shower was small and we could have used more storage for the length of stay. The views from the farmhouse are stunning especially at sunset. Guido and his Aunty ensure you have a good breakfast to start the day where you can then easily travel to other great towns and sights in Tuscany. We very much enjoyed our stay and we would use this location again in future."
