Hard even for Google map to direct to the right spot where the hotel is located; had to use my common sense to locate it myself.

The hotel is close to the bus station but far away from the city. There is only one restaurant opposite the hotel. I stayed for three nights and had dinner at the same restaurant every night because I had no other choice. Fortunately, the restaurant was reasonably priced, plentiful and delicious. There is no place to shop, not even Qizai. There is no hot water kettle in the room, please note.

This is an old hotel with average facilities and decent facilities. There are no slippers, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Fortunately, the room does not have the smell of an old house. The waiter has a good attitude.

Stayed 3 nights in standard room on 5th floor. Booked via Agoda. Note the walk-in rate was double so book online. Directly opposite the laneway to bus terminal but about 2km from the centre of town. A 20 minute walk to the night market for excellent local food. Staff were welcoming despite the lack of English. Yes it's an older hotel catering mostly to Thais. Decorated in Lanna style with lots of wooden carving reflects Phrae as a centre for the teak trade. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Good hot water shower. No English TV channels. No hot water kettle in room but available in the lobby. Breakfast included mostly Asian foods or American breakfast with eggs. Buffet on weekend when there were more guests. Nice clean swimming pool to cool off. Unfortunately this is also used by local swimming class and gets busy with noisy kids in afternoon. There are bicycles for rent 100 Bt per day which is good for sightseeing as everything is too far to walk. Lots of parking at the front. I had a pleasant stay but would have preferred to be closer to the old town. Phrae is lovely and quiet with many beautiful old teak buildings, a terrific Saturday walking street and lots of great little cafes. Very friendly locals. It doesn't get the hordes of tourists that clog other places

The long-established 6 storey hotel is located in the centre of Phrae city with about 2 km from the Saturday night market and about 1.5 km from Pratu Chai market. Its decoration and tone mainly focus on "Charming east Lanna" plus many carved teak furnitures. Staffs were nice, especially a cutie red fish at the lobby that swam toward us, opened and closed its mouth like talking to us, such a warm welcome! (we were playing with it while checked in & checked out). Our room was on the fourth floor. It was clean and comfortable. Bed runners and pillowcases were traditional Phrae style "Mor Hom". Breakfast was a buffet line with various menus. We had a pleasant experience here. 900 Baht/night was worth spending. Recommend!

It is one of Phrae Prefecture's leading luxury 6-story hotels (104 rooms in total), and was established in 1993 near a bus terminal on the outskirts of the city. Although the location is a little far from the downtown area of the city, it has excellent access to long-distance bus transportation and tourist spots in the Nan and Phayao areas. As one would expect from a major producer of teak wood, the common spaces around the lobby as well as the rooms are decorated with teak wood, which has a rich, astringent hue.The curtains and cushions are also made from cotton, a specialty of Play. It fully emphasizes the culture of Prefecture and asserts its uniqueness. The guest rooms are fully equipped (especially the spacious bathtubs), and from the windows on the upper floors, which span the width of the rooms, you can see the beautiful mountain range of Plei.
