What a great place. The view was excellent and we had numerous visitors. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and some King Parrots. The amenities we really good and the bed was comfortable. We’d highly recommend a stay here for those who a little more adventurous

Very nicely located in the middle of the forest. Tent was a bit cold, but is provided with heated blankets. Check-in is smooth with keyboxes at the front. Good value for money.

Loved the stay - host came out to receive us as we arrived late at about 6pm. Saw 2 kangaroos hopping by, many cockatoos and parrots and managed to feed some with the seeds that were left in the house. The fireplace was also a unique experience.

There are parrots on the balcony of the house. They are very welcoming. The bed is comfortable. You can drink tea on the balcony. There are kangaroos on the grass outside the window. It is very comfortable.
I stayed there recently with my wife and two young children. My wife booked through Agoda and didn’t click children in the family cabin as it advertised kids free. There was no price difference when you did add children. They harassed my wife on the Thursday of the booking saying we owed them an extra $30 Per child per night. My wife spoke to them and said she would check with Agoda but thought they were free. We can from dinner to find ourself confront my two males. After they turned the power off I was choked, and assaulted and had minor injuries ( bloody knee, scrapes and bruising…. My kids were screaming… this is ridiculous…. We called and the police and left. This would have to be the worst my life and my children’s life. Horrific

Absolutely loved staying here. We stayed in a ‘sunrise’ lodge - two storey building (bedroom upstairs) with a large balcony, living area with logburner, kitchen and comfy sofa and good bathroom/separate wc with a downstairs bedroom that slept 3 (bunk beds plus a single). Met by a multitude of parrots and cockatiels on arrival that obviously knew we’d been left some food for them. Fantastic, secluded location with wildlife in the woods, walking trails etc and the lovely seaside town of Lorne a 5 min drive away. Host Kylie checked in on us soon after we arrived. Really disappointed I only booked a single night as part of our GOR trip - would love to have stayed longer. It’s idyllic.

Overall I enjoyed the experience. However, accommodation providers shouldn’t just assume it’s ok to charge a surcharge without informing customers first. The tents are classed as deluxe eco tents. I would perhaps just call them eco tents and deluxe would tend to suggest something extremely high end. To be deluxe you need to have a proper sofa (it was very uncomfortable), better heating (the heater was so noisy you couldn’t leave it on overnight), a better bathroom (you could hear your room using the toilet each time) and better chairs outside (ie not plastic). That would take it from eco tents to a deluxe eco tent. Beds are comfy, linen is clean. I’d rather have more than 1 pillow per person. The outlet is beautiful. The access to wildlife is unrivalled. I would doubt there is anywhere in lorne that would give you access to this kind of viewing. But, you will pay a price for it. Recommended for young families who don’t mind sharing 1 room in close proximity. Also advise to arrive before dark. It’s safer and you don’t want to miss the kangaroos grazing at sunset, which is very special.

Glamping in the eco tents was a wonderful experience. The tents are on a platform so you are above the lawn where the kangaroos gather and cockatoos come and land on the verandah. The small room is so cosy with a comfy double bed with electric blankets and there’s also bunk beds. There’s a small lounge/kitchen area with a couch as well as microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge but there’s a Weber bbq outside. In the cupboard there’s everything required incl a selection of teas plus coffee and hot choc, spray oil as well as crockery and cutlery plus milks in the fridge. There’s also a tv, fan and blow heater which quickly heated up the room. It’s just a five min drive from the town but feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere and the properties are nicely spread out and private and with a balcony with chairs and table you feel at one with nature. There are a few fire pits outside all ready to go for a fun way to watch the wildlife and chill out. A really super place to spend a few days run by a lovely couple.

Thank you for a lovely little stay in the cute cottages. Everything we needed for our family of 5. Kids thought it was 5 star, for the indoor and outdoor fire pits, cute quilts, loft bed, heated towel rack and spa bath. Short drive into town. Would highly recommend.
