"According to Ctrip, this is a newly renovated hotel acquired by Hilton. Upon checking in, I was indeed impressed by the brand-new facilities and excellent service. The location is also incredibly convenient, right at the intersection of a restricted traffic zone. It was the most satisfying hotel during my entire month-long trip."

"I stayed at the Bank Hotel in early May 2024 since Locanda della Posta was full. Apparently, the hotel had just opened about 10 days before our arrival and so was still working through the details. Some things to know: there was no hotel signage so I walked to the top floor of the building in search of the hotel before crossing the street to Locanda to find out where the rooms were. There’s actually no reception at the Bank. The hotel should share this upon booking. Our door didn’t lock properly so someone had to come fix it, and the light switches didn’t all work properly so we had a difficult time turning on and off the lights. I have no doubt these details will be worked out over time. I just wish we had a warning. The positives: our room looked out over the town square and beautiful Perugian rooftops. We could see the sunset in the evening. The room was spacious and a great size for two friends. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was large and well appointed. I look forward to returning in the future."

"Hotel Sina Brufani is a five-star hotel in the thousand-year-old ancient city of Perugia, Italy. It is located in the center of the old city and has an absolutely superb environment! Especially on the third floor terrace, various hand-painted tabletops are colorful! Looking around, the old and new urban areas have clear outlines. In the morning, the lingering sound of church bells in the mountains and at the foot of the mountains makes people feel calm and cool. Occasionally, there is the faint sound of the organ, which can't help but make people fascinated... However, as guests of the Perugia International Music Festival, young Steinway artists and their families, they are very, very dissatisfied with the "hidden neglect" of the staff of this hotel towards Chinese (Oriental people)! As a Ctrip diamond customer, I personally strongly recommend that Ctrip take measures that do not recommend or encourage Chinese people to be humiliated to safeguard the dignity of the Chinese people! First of all, the middle-aged and elderly female head waiter in the breakfast room always asks for the room number every morning when facing Oriental faces (including Korean and Japanese tourists attending the music festival), and she never takes a seat! However, for the Western white people who entered the hall at the same time or later, they not only did not ask for their room number, but also showed them to their seats in person. The contrast was huge! I have traveled abroad hundreds of times for business and private purposes since 1998. I flew to Europe with a platinum card and dozens of times. This is the first time I have experienced an indescribable kind of neglect and even implicit discrimination in an underdeveloped G7 mountain town! Coincidentally, before leaving Perugia, we wanted to have a dinner with friends who are piano professors from Europe and the United States. We went to the open-air bar on the first floor to find a table. We asked the female clerk if there was a table by the window. When we found out that no one had reserved it, we made a reservation for the evening, and a male bartender joined us. I asked for the room number before and was told that I couldn’t reserve a table by the window? I said: The female clerk said that there was no reservation for that table, and besides, we were also hotel guests, but the male clerk was very "stubborn" and said that we couldn't make a reservation! I said to pay the advance payment first, but the male clerk waved his hand and refused! To be honest, this kind of service attitude is no longer a matter of mutual respect! This old hotel is old, but it treats customers so badly. I think it is an unreasonable neglect of Chinese tourists! Because our faces are Oriental, Chinese, because we are not white travelers who look “noble”? ! (If we come to Perugia next year, we will never look at these hotels that are unreasonable to Chinese people. By the way, a group of us later went to a local Michelin restaurant, which was very fun...)"

"I booked this hotel because I wanted to watch Ishikawa Yuki's volleyball match in Perugia. I was able to get to the match venue in less than 30 minutes using the mini-metro. It was a very cute hotel, and the bathrooms were clean. Also, an espresso machine and bread were prepared in the room, and although I had to leave early the next day, I was grateful that I could get up early and have a leisurely breakfast. The only things that bothered me were the noise of the ventilation fan and the lack of curtains, but these weren't particularly big issues. Above all, the owner was very kind. He even told me what to do if I got home late after visiting tourist attractions or watching a volleyball match, so I was able to stay there in a very comfortable and safe environment."

"Borgo dei Conti offers a very opulent and private stay at a recent renovated historical property. The rooms are amazing and very clean. Now the problem of this resort is it's low value overall, it is just too expensive for what it actually offers. It delivers an impressive tranquil and silent stay with lots of privacy but feels not up to the price point. Positives: - location. Very big estate with super tranquil ambiance. Some interesting historical villages in 30-60 min car distance like Panicale, Perugia and Orvieto which have nice restaurants. - property with high security. - superb historical buildind renovation and very cleaned rooms (although I found a big bug in the bathroom curtains). - amazing bed and sheet confort. - amazing bath amenities. - great efficient AC. Negatives: - first and foremost the value. At plus 1K a day one would expect free water at the pool, any nice touch at the evening turndown and any complementary activities. Everything falls to this point as at this price level many things just don't feel good enough. The breakfast for instance feels poor. Ok the property only has 40 rooms and limited guests but they could offer more a la carte options (and not paying extra options) and more space to spread the food buffet. - There is a need to more attention to details in common areas. There is no music, no ambiance anywhere, just pure silence. A piano or any other instrument could do wonders in the courtyard or bar areas... Spa facilities could benefit from natural aromas or natural oil diffusors, some kind of ambient sound, more attention to the snacks available since there were moldy nuts (and more variety for instance the typical sliced dry banana) and way more design elements. The temperature was also cold there. In the end only the outdoor heated pool was enjoyable... Also a strange point is that there is no proper shower (nor bath products) at the spa.. I think with little efforts it's possible to rethink and hugely improve the spa facilities experience. - main pool was nice although at the first day there were a lot of water mosquitoes in a corner. We even notice that to the lifeguard who just said "it's ok, it is no problem", and does nothing... I don't think I need to explain how wrong this situation was.. anyway, next day somebody finally remove the bugs from the pool water. Again I would highlight that at this price point it is typical to have some kind of courtesy at the pool. Staff just felt bored and unmotivated. - osteria restaurant near the pool could also be so much more styled and confortable. - the gym!! I was speechless when I saw it was a hot tiny glass room with half dozen machines. For the property size I don't think it's acceptable. Even more this property has everything to be a real wellness focus center but it really lacks. Maybe an expert could give some enlightment (maybe look at the properties in northern Italian mountains for instance). In the end it was a pleasurable stay with an amazing old s"

"Right in the middle of old Perugia, great position. The room was clean and large - lots of it utilised by the large bathtub and sauna. Double sinks were nice, as was the rainwater shower and friendly welcome. We had the double room (#3) with a queen bed but wouldn’t classify it as a suite or apartment as advertised. The kitchen was a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and a double hob - with minimum cutlery and cooking pans. (No oven or microwave). The wash machine was shared with all apartments in a room down the hall - again not as advertised - but modern and efficient. We stayed three nights and our room was never cleaned, clean towels not offered and no replenishment of coffee and tea supplies (which were minimal to start with). It was also quite loud out our window with the restaurant across the lane way - the only night we got undisturbed sleep was when the restaurant was closed on Sunday. At around 140 Euros per night, we felt like our room wasn’t the best value, although we certainly enjoyed staying in the heart of Perugia village."

"This little guesthouse was perfect for our family, very comfortable and the owners were very accommodating, accommodating our late evening check-in. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms, very clean, no odor problems in the bathroom (common in older properties), warm winter heating. The free breakfast is delicious, with treats prepared by the owners. The location is perfect for those traveling by car as it is outside the historic center and so there is no risk of crossing the ZTL and getting fines."
