"Beautiful room, but service, cleanliness, safety, and management are seriously lacking. Save your money and stay elsewhere. I moved to another five-star property halfway through my stay and paid half the price for an equally beautiful, though smaller, room within walking distance of town, with a beach and impeccable food and service. This hotel is not worth the hype, and many of the reviews here do not reflect my experience. At more than €2,000 per night, my expectations were understandably high. The room itself was beautiful, but the overall experience did not come close to matching the price or the hotel’s luxury positioning. Service and staff: The staff was friendly and attentive when approached, but service was not proactive and often missed the mark. There was no pre-arrival communication or arrival assistance. At check-in, the hotel did not have my WhatsApp information and, rather than making an effort to obtain it, relayed messages to me through another guest. I later had to call the front desk twice to ensure they had the correct information. At the bar, I had to ask for a menu and then flag someone down to order despite the bar being quiet and several staff members being present. At dinner, our order was incorrect even though we gave it to two different employees. None of these issues would have been significant on their own, but they quickly added up. Cleanliness, grounds, and safety: The bedroom was clean, but the bathroom had grime in the corners, hair on the floor, and ants in the shower. During check-in, I removed cobwebs and a dead fly from the foot of the coffee table in the lobby. Windows near the lobby and breakfast area were cloudy and covered in fingerprints. The grounds surrounding the villas were barren and dusty, with broken lights, exposed wires, and rodent traps visible throughout. The lights along the dark, uneven paths to the villas did not work at night, creating a legitimate safety hazard. When I reported the issue, I was told the lights were checked nightly and were definitely working. However, the paths were still dark on the second night. I sent the manager a video documenting the problem and received no response. The bathroom shared by the restaurant and pool was also in disarray during dinner (after the pool had closed) with an unflushed toilet, multiple wet and dirty towels and trash on the floor, and visible dirt throughout. Management response: When I asked management to make things right and simply let me out of my additional two nights of stay, the only concession offered was a refund for the hotel’s transfers to/from town which cost €50 through the hotel but only €20 when booked independently. Management then stopped responding entirely for four days, despite the serious concerns I had raised about cleanliness, service, and guest safety. The lack of urgency, follow-through, and accountability was unacceptable for a hotel charging more than €2,000 per night. At this price point, the experience is si"

Atlantis is a small simple place, nestled within town and featuring a lovely outdoor pool area. Beds linens are exceptional, rooms are sparkling clean, staff is amazingly helpful. "This hotel was very beautiful when we booked it said in the advertisement that it was close to a private beach, which it was not. The private pools were beautiful, but too cold to get into, we were upgraded to a room with a hot tub and that was awesome. At night when it was cool, the hot tub was a great benefit and we enjoyed it a lot. Overall the room was nice, the negatives were that there was nowhere to put your suitcase and it was super crowded for even a few toiletries, but the room was clean and pretty just not really user friendly. There was nowhere to hang your towels. Beds were super comfortable and quiet. It was also great that the blackout curtains really kept the daylight out so you could sleep in late and like I said it was so quiet overall, in the resort. The breakfast buffet could not be beat and the chef was so good and happy to make a beautiful omelette or eggs. We stayed in one night, so we ate at the restaurant the prices were a little high but the food was good however, the price of water caught us by surprise. Paying for water was expected, but paying nine dollars for a bottle of water when it was only five dollars in the room was a surprise."
