"A beautiful hotel in an amazing location with stunning views of the area. I was here on a group tour and the first night here was my birthday, my amazing guide arranged a cake for me which was so lovely. There is a super cute puppy that seems to live here too and he's full of beans. We returned for a few days at the end of the tour for Paro festival and I was dressed by one of the lovely ladies that works here, she even leant me her broach to close my jacket on the kira. All the staff be it in the bar or restaurant are so happy and smiling all the time. My rooms both times were stunning with lots of plug points not to future travellers get the plug for india. I loved the decor in the rooms especially the bhutaneese curtains in my first room. It's such an easy walk into town for a spot of shopping too. I totally would not hesitate to stay here again. Love and thanks to everyone here."

"I stayed at the COMO Uma Paro hotel for two nights and was quite disappointed with the experience. The rooms in the main part of the hotel felt worn and outdated, and unfortunately, it did not feel worth the price we paid. Perhaps the individual cottages offer a different experience. On a positive note, the food was good, though not exceptional."

"The worst hotel on our entire trip. The Bhutanese-style, souped-up lobby is the only thing that could be considered appealing. Otherwise, it resembles a barracks with canteen-style carpeting in the restaurant and rooms where the mikben seem to live. Our room reeked of odor. The dining room was outside with no lighting. Uncomfortable chairs, bad food with minimal choice. Never again! There are certainly better hotels in Paro."

Evening buffet was good, specially prepared for the few tourists that were there. Breakfast ok, but it would have been lovely to have had more fresh fruit and curd available, we did ask and got some. Excellent Masala tea."

Heater was provided to keep us warm... Nice clean room, excellent mountain views, great value for money, best was food... Cook Ichalkaranji made strict Jain food as per our instructions & even let my wife come in kitchen & cook our way... We really enjoyed our stay from all angles PS: It's 2 kms away from city center so car is reqd"
