Outstanding
There's a large shopping mall next to the hotel, and a large market nearby. In short, the hotel has an excellent location and is a great place for relaxation. Breakfast is included in the room rate; lunch and dinner are at your own expense, but the prices are reasonable.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Room was clean, good mattress, coffee facilities and a gym which was huge and very well equipped. The restaurant staff were exceptional and even made me special dishes that they thought I might like. Food was usually a set meal, driven by the tastes of the majority of guests, so there was Indian food for at least 2 nights. I have to mention however that the huge issue at this hotel is the *&*&#(*& barking dogs. While it's a feature of most hotels in Bhutan especially around Paro, this place has at least 2 dogs that live next door and they yap constantly all night. Bring earplugs, I'm so glad I did. If I didn't have earplugs I would have given it 2 stars.

The layout of the room is quite comfortable, and the service staff are very simple. At first, I felt that the noise in the room was a little loud, so I asked them to change to another one. They were very patient. Well, I think the food in their restaurant is also good value for money.

The boys and girls here are very kind, quiet and clean, but there are a lot of insects. The hotel also provides mosquito repellent, which is the same as Punakha Hotel. Punakha has air conditioning. Everyone must have the habit of tipping, their wages are very low, and drivers and tour guides sometimes need to find their own places to live and eat.

The accommodations were better than the photos online. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the price was reasonable. It was comparable to the hotel next door that cost $268 per night.

GGuest UserEverything was amazing right from the word go. The hospitality and cuisine were top drawer stuff. The host took time to drop and pick me up at the inaugural ceremony of the first royal bhutan festival amid-st heavy rains. Looking forward to visit again. Recommend strongly for any first time visitors and i am sure who will automatically make this venue a permanent one.
