Great
GGuest UserI really liked everything. The hotel is new. The rooms are fresh, the floors are warm. Everything you need is there (bathroom amenities, slippers, a robe). The bathroom has heated floors. There's a minibar for an extra fee. The breakfast is delicious, with plenty of choice, fresh coffee, and dried fruit. Amir Timur Square is a 30-minute walk away, but taxis are always available and are inexpensive.
NNur Attiqah IntanI stayed at the Wyndham Tashkent for 6 nights on a business trip, and I had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is well-located, and the room I stayed in offered a nice view, which made the mornings especially enjoyable.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile — whether it was at the front desk, housekeeping, or in the restaurant.
Breakfast was consistently good, with a decent variety of both local and international options. It was a great way to start each busy day.
If you're traveling to Tashkent for business, I’d definitely recommend Wyndham as a comfortable and reliable option. I’ll be happy to return on my next visit.
YYoung IlStaffs are very helpful and kind. Room was spacious which looks very luxurious and clean. Swimming pool is enough size to swim and play withe friend’s kids.
KKhilolaI booked this hotel stay for my elderly parents. As per my parents upon arrival front desk agent didn’t greet or acknowledge them. Also when I booked this stay I noticed that check in time was after 10 AM and check out was after 2 PM- I was surprised and I called the hotel to confirm this information and I wanted to let them know that my parents will be arriving earlier than 10 AM ( I was ready to pay extra if hotel wanted) but hotel representative told me that their check in time is after 2 PM and check out is by 10 AM in the morning-representative said he will “think of something”, that I shouldn’t be worried! I immediately called trip.com customer service line and I was able to confirm that because of my “Rewards” I was eligible for privileged check in/out times, so dear front desk agent Bekhzod if you don’t know please don’t give an impression that you are doing an exception / favour for somebody - it had nothing to do with you!
Negative aspects:
—->I booked specific room with brown furniture but my parents stayed in the same size room but with Grey furniture (just note You are not getting same thing as in picture here)
—-> There were 3 shower heads in the bathroom and the main one( rain shower head ) wasn’t working!
Positive aspects:
—-> Trip.com claims that this hotel doesn’t have an elevator but they do and a nice, huge, mirrored one!
—-> Cleaning lady and maintenance gentleman were kind and attentive.
—-> Front desk agent Bekhzod was really patient with my mentally ill father and he is the one who constantly helped my parents to order Yandex taxi service ( Thank you so much )
—-> Breakfast was good but pastries were better
—-> There is a supermarket called Korzinka nearby, you can just walk there!
Overall everything was ok but I wouldn’t stay here for future trips to Tashkent
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the train station, about a 10-minute walk in a straight line, making it ideal if you want to be close to the station. The hotel facilities are new and kept very clean. The room is spacious, as is the bathroom. The bathroom has amenities such as a toothbrush, shaving cream, and a comb. Everything in the room is very modern. The mattress on the bed is a bit high; I didn't have a problem with it because I'm tall, but I think for a shorter person, the bed would be a bit high. There's a construction project next to the hotel, but fortunately, you can't hear any noise with the windows closed, so don't worry, it's not a problem. Breakfast is very good; it's a buffet with a wide variety of breads, fruits, nuts, sweets, cheeses, yogurts, chocolates, etc. You can also order scrambled eggs, fried eggs, or any type of eggs you like. The restaurant staff is very friendly and always attentive to everything.
VVinhhongI checked in around 8pm and was greeted by a staff in the evening shift (I did not asked his name). I asked for a SIM card if I could buy in the morning , he said could offer a free just need to top up tomorrow 9am his colleagues will settle. But early morning I was waiting for 9-9:30 there is no one knew about this . I also asked for late check out, he said could extend only til 1pm unless I will need to settle 50% extra and I agreed coz my flight is 22:30pm but in the morning when I came to settle late check out fee, there is again no one know how to do only they said they will check with their manager . I only stayed one night in Tashkent due to my flight need to overnight transit but the team make my stay very unpleasant and not comfortable. Again , I got a friend who come to visit me just 1hr, but the hotel did not allow and that evening staff again , stop my friend and said he can stay inside my room
Only 3mn, if late than 3mn, he will call my room number or even send someone . he said this is hotel rule . Omg . The way he replied and did were so unprofessional and rude and very fiere like I am a criminal . Until I complaint and asked to meet manager couple times , he agreed to let my friend stay only 1hr and needed to pay a tourist fee.
Bad service , not skilled team and I will never ever come back to this hotel again !
KKaterina NekliudovaThe hotel is conveniently located, there are shops around, near Magic City and from the street with restaurants. It was quiet, I was able to work. The room has a teapot, tea, water, toothbrush, gel and soap, slippers, towels, fan. There is no refrigerator and champagne. The room is clean but the hotel is ”tired”, hard bed. Breakfast is modest, there is no variety of vegetables. Stopped for 1 night, because the price was reduced and the bonus from the app was - late departure. I will not come to this hotel next time.
SSylvesterMy room was exactly as shown in the photos and I believe there’s daily cleaning. The hot water and WiFi worked and also, the windows let in a lot of natural light.
I arrived very early in the morning and the person working at the time was rude. I think because he had to awake from his sleep when arrived, he didn’t like that. The other staff members I encountered were fine and I didn’t see the rude guy the rest of my trip thankfully.
GGuest UserI arrived at 2300 and there is a monopoly of taxis. Frankly, I just wanted to get to the hotel so I hired the official airport taxi (there is a stand before customs, as well as money change facilities). The driver had a little difficulty locating it, but it is actually a couple hundred of meters from a mayor street.
After traveling in China, I was relief to notice that the people at the hotel speak English (thanks Haselbeck). The room is clean and right behind the reception, at street level. Since the windows open, I asked Haselbeck about the crime situation and he laughed, stating that this doesn't happen in Uzbekistan.
Breakfast was very good, with cold meats, eggs, cereal, cookies, cake, tea, coffee and blynis. While having breakfast I spoke to a person from India who was working is Tashkent about how he transports, since the Metro is about 1600 m away. He laughed it and told me to use Yandex Go and order taxis. Great find! They are really inexpensive .
ДДжони ФоксWe were choosing between this hotel and the Uzbekistan hotel which is nearby!
Friends were staying in Uzbekistan!
One of the downsides in comparing these two hotels is that they charged a tourist tax, so the accommodation was more expensive!
Breakfasts are more modest, again in comparison with the neighboring hotel, but the main thing is there, except... Coffee 😬
Only for a fee! There is some in Uzbekistan 🙏
But...
Initially, the guys in Uzbekistan were put in a room where their windows were not only blown in, but were blown away by the wind! An extra bed for a child, they just threw in mattresses 🫣
Only after swearing and other things, they changed them to a room with renovations!
This hotel doesn't have such a problem! The room is large, quite warm! Clean, tidy! Yes, the renovation is certainly not fresh, but it's not worn out either 🙏
In general, you can live! The price and quality match! Otherwise, if you want the Soviet era, welcome to Hotel Uzbekistan! And if not, then to La Grande!
There is also a swimming pool, I think with the hotter weather it will be open!
