As a desert of quality hotels, Mercure's presence in Tashkent is quite significant. Honestly, though, the rooms are barely on par with a decent budget hotel back home. The location isn't great; it's not far from the airport and train station, making it a suitable stopover. Speaking of breakfast, it's pretty varied, especially with the freshly cooked Shin Ramyun, which is a real comfort for the Chinese palate. However, the service isn't all that – no concierge helped with luggage upon arrival. Still, for the price, it's an acceptable place to stay.

中井1223The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including authentic Uzbek dishes as well as some less intensely local choices, which made it very enjoyable and easy to eat.
The room felt clean and well-maintained overall, and the thorough cleaning made for a comfortable stay. I didn't experience any inconvenience with the facilities either.
Furthermore, the front desk staff were very polite and left a great impression. Their English pronunciation was very clear and easy to understand, which made check-in and asking questions smooth and reassuring. Overall, I think this is a hotel where you can have a very comfortable stay.

Guest UserThe hotel is very clean, spacious, and has a great view. The front desk staff speak Chinese, and they even have a WeChat customer service. You can just message them directly with any requests, and they'll send it up quickly. Also, the 220V outlets in the room mean you can charge your phone directly without an adapter, which is incredibly convenient! It's very easy to get around from here; most taxi rides are under 10 minutes. It's a perfect place to stay for tourists, with easy access to attractions and restaurants.

I stayed at Hilton Tashkent City for four day, and the experience was deeply disappointing, mainly due to poor housekeeping, indifferent staff, and an overall lack of respect toward guests.
Upon check-in, I discovered that the shampoo bottle was empty and the tissue box was empty. I immediately left a written note for housekeeping requesting to refill amenities and clean the room. However, when I returned later, the room had not been cleaned at all, and none of the requested items were refilled.
When I contacted the staff again to request shampoo, tissues, and bottles of water, they were delivered one by one, as if each item required a separate reminder. This created a strong impression that guest comfort is not a priority, and that requests are treated carelessly and easily forgotten.
The attitude of the reception staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. At times, it felt as though guests were an inconvenience rather than the purpose of the hotel. When raising complaints, the response was slow and dismissive, making me feel that it was better not to complain at all because no one truly cared.
Despite spending over $1,000 on a very short stay, the checkout experience was particularly unpleasant. On the day of departure, my wife and I were repeatedly pressured to check out early. Even after showing confirmation from the booking website stating that checkout was before 13:00, the staff continued to argue that “before” meant leaving immediately.
They knocked on the door once and called the room twice demanding checkout. I eventually left the room at 12:50, yet the pressure and tone were completely unacceptable.
This hotel seriously fails to meet the service standards expected from the Hilton brand. The lack of care, poor communication, and dismissive attitude toward paying guests made the stay stressful rather than comfortable. I would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made in staff training and guest service culture.

yaogs0626The hotel is located in the heart of Tashkent, right next to Amir Temur Square and the Amir Temur Museum. It's also a convenient 15-minute drive from Tashkent International Airport.
The breakfast was decent. However, there aren't many dining options nearby, just a KFC.

Kaixuanguilai!nieNew hotel! The twin room had two 1.3m single beds, not the 0.8m ones shown on the website. The draft beer at the lobby bar was good value at around 20 RMB for 0.5 liters. Breakfast was also good. Using a ride-hailing app linked to a credit card was convenient. The service was friendly. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Amir Timur Square, where you can catch the red double-decker hop-on hop-off bus for sights like the Amir Timur Museum, the Grand Bazaar, mosques, and other city attractions. We even ran into a Chinese tour group there.

Guest UserFriendly staff who are understanding and check you in very quickly. They speak Russian. It's very clean with daily room cleaning. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. There are designated smoking areas on the balconies in the halls. Decent breakfasts. The hotel has a convenient location for transit passengers, quite close to the airport and the train station. I recommend everyone visit this hotel.

Anonymous UserThe room was okay, but I booked one with a balcony and got one without. I tried to sort it out through Trip.com, but they just kept saying there were no rooms available until, magically, one appeared in the end. 🙂
