Mad_VladReally regret not getting a villa because they are sold out almost immediately 😭 that small pool to cool down would have been Amazing at 40+ degrees weather. Plan your trips around spring or autumn not mid August (although some price are lower).
A nice bedroom is also great! Kitchen is a huge bonus! We went to the bazar and bought so much food with us that we ate breakfast or snacks in the room for most of our stay! Super convenient to order food and groceries but you are competing with amazing restaurants near you, walking distance.
Anjir restaurant is SOOO underrated! Just walk over the road and you are met with so much choice that you are practically forced to go there every day for lunch or dinner. We went there 3 times... Haven't even tried half of the menu yet...
Overall amazing experience and staff is also friendly. Most speak Russian but also some can speak English.
I found breakfast for us not to be worth it because we slept till mid day but if you can wake up between 8-11 they change foods every day so some days it's amazing some are just ok. Beware if you book early morning tours you won't have time to eat cuz tours pick you up at 8am and breakfast starts at 8am ...
5 star for sure! Very very clean AAAAAAANNNNDDD
London, France, Georgia, none have working fans in the bathroom, this one DOES! idk about you but for me that was very important!

Daisyshen1981The hotel was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay with good sleep and showers. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, but personally, I found the taste to be just okay, especially the noodles and egg rolls. However, the fruit and bread were quite good.

Patrick BelfastThis is the second time this summer I have stayed at this hotel and everything about it is excellent. From the reception area and the greeting I received to the room, restaurant and many other amenities. The staff around the reception area were always ready to help and very attentive in particular Doniyor who really made me feel that he was genuinely interested in making sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was, just like the last time, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable with an excellent shower. A cheap and efficient laundry service is available. The breakfast buffet was first class with an excellent selection of food. I also ate lunch and dinner in the hotel and the restaurant food was wonderful. I ate all meals at the hotel over my two stays and I highly recommend it. Again the restaurant staff and in particular Elbek were very efficient and food recommendations were spot on. The hotel also offers a very well equipped gym, a sauna, steam room and pool free of charge for guests with a payable spa massage on request. I want to give a special mention to Malika, the young girl who owns small shop in the reception area selling beautiful hand made jewelry, rugs, scarves and other items. Almost everything is hand made and that which is not she clearly points it out. It is all very reasonably priced and I was very happy to buy several items from her. I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would thoroughly recommend Swissotel Tashkent.
Finally if you are considering using Tashkent only as a stopover I would really recommend at least two nights and one full day as there are plenty of things to do including the metro stations, an outdoor train museum which was excellent, bazaars, a wonderful mosque and go take pictures of the Soviet-built Uzbekistan Hotel built in the Soviet Brutalist style with an Asian influence, absolutely beautiful and very different to the architecture found it Khiva etc. So I would advise, stay in Tashkent either at the start or end of your trip or both as I did and stay at the Swissotel. You will not regret it.

Guest UserNice staff and excellent breakfast. As everywhere one should not expect a broad variety of diary products, but one is compensated by fresh vegetables and fruits. Rooms are spacious. Heating only by air condition.

This hotel is located in a small alley, next to two other hotels. A large supermarket is just a short walk away, so the location is good. The hotel service is also quite good. The breakfast is excellent, and the room is clean and hygienic. The only drawback is that the bed is a bit small, but that's typical for beds in Central Asian countries.

Guest UserThe hotel breakfast was good quality. The rooms were well-maintained and clean. It's conveniently located, and the front desk helped me arrange a taxi to T2 airport, which only cost 50,000 Sum. Overall, the service quality is excellent, and the facilities are modern. I'd definitely recommend it.

Денис Сочи 25On the plus side, I was able to check in a bit early. The room was spacious and clean, with a few minor issues (leaky shower, a bit of wallpaper peeling, and a loose baseboard), but these didn't significantly impact my overall positive impression. You can't drink or smoke inside the hotel, but there's a designated smoking area outside. The promised free shuttle service took three days of back-and-forth messaging to discover the hotel doesn't actually offer one. The pool and hammam are in a separate area; you need to book a time slot, and then you'll have it all to yourselves, which is free. The hammam was good, but the pool was ice cold – we couldn't even get in. Breakfasts were modest but enough to get by: semolina porridge, cheese, sausage, one salad, and one main dish. The most important thing, and a huge plus, was the comfortable, large beds.

Nari.My stay at Retro Palace was a pleasant and memorable experience overall. The hotel offers a charming blend of classic design and modern comfort, making it a great choice for travelers who appreciate a unique atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and eager to assist with any requests, which immediately created a positive first impression.
The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with a retro-inspired aesthetic that gave it a distinctive character. The bed was comfortable, and all essential amenities were provided, including reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a well-maintained bathroom. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the interior design, which added a cozy and stylish touch to the stay.
The location of Retro Palace is another strong advantage. It is conveniently situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it easy to explore the surrounding area without much hassle. Whether traveling for leisure or business, the accessibility of the hotel is definitely a plus.
In terms of facilities, the hotel provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. While it may not be a luxury property, it delivers excellent value for money. The common areas are well-kept, and the overall ambiance is relaxed and inviting. I also found the check-in and check-out process to be smooth and efficient.
One minor area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, which could benefit from a bit more variety. However, this did not significantly impact my overall experience, as there are many nearby dining options to explore.
Overall, I would highly recommend Retro Palace to travelers looking for a comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced accommodation. The combination of friendly service, convenient location, and unique design makes it a solid choice for anyone visiting the area. I would gladly stay here again in the future.

The hotel is conveniently located, we only had 4 hours for the walk, but we saw quite a lot) the air conditioning works, tea, coffee, and a kettle in the room) we liked the breakfast, there were fruits, vegetables, and desserts) it was filling and delicious) it also turned out that the price included the pool, it's a pity we didn't have time to visit) shampoo, shower gel, comb, cap, dental kit, and even a sewing kit are provided) in general, even though we stayed only one night, we were satisfied) 😊
