I stayed at the Crocus Tashkent Hotel in Uzbekistan from July 31st to August 7th, 2023 for a training course organized by the IIHF. Overall, the hotel provided a pleasant experience during my one-week stay. First and foremost, the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel were well-maintained, although I changed my room twice because of problems with the ventilation system and bathroom hose problem. The rooms were adequately spacious and had decent amenities. The hotel also had a small pool, which was a useful spot for relaxation, and we had memorable nights there. The hotel's food was average to good and of satisfactory quality. The location of the hotel was not particularly interesting, but with a short walk of at least twenty minutes, one could reach sightseeing and recreational areas, although Tashkent itself doesn't have many tourist attractions. The hotel staff, especially during morning shifts, spoke English well and were helpful in many situations such as obtaining a SIM card and arranging taxis. The people of Uzbekistan are known for their hospitality. If I were to visit Tashkent again, this hotel would likely be among my top choices.
Advantages: A good Chinese hotel, with large rooms and balcony doors that can be opened a little. Clothes can be hung on the iron railings for ventilation and drying. It's great to be able to hang clothes outside when staying in a hotel. The room has heating and air conditioning, and the bathroom has floor heating, so you won't feel cold after taking a shower.
Suggestions: It would be great if the odor in the bathroom sewer could be solved. It would be perfect if there was a Chinese breakfast. The hotel is in a residential area, quiet and safe, but a little off the beaten track. You have to walk a long way to go shopping and find food, but takeout can be delivered.

It was so lucky to find this hotel alone in Tashkent! Health and safety, breakfast is also very good. The boss was very good and helped me change the local money. Later, I didn't use it up and helped me change it back. It rained that day and I felt very cold when I went out. The proprietress also lent me her little fragrance coat. Will come later!

I really liked the hotel! Furniture, plumbing - everything is new. Purely. The reception always helped with all questions!
The only thing is that it is a little noisy at night, the windows overlook the road. Overall, I’m very pleased with my stay at this hotel, I’ll be happy to come again)

The receptionists left a lasting impression on us. Despite facing language barriers or challenges in communication, they handled it with grace and professionalism, ensuring that we received the services we needed without any hitch. the prices were more than reasonable, making it a win-win situation for us as customers. We left feeling satisfied and content with the excellent value we received for our money. Additionally, the location is conveniently accessible. Finding it was a breeze, and it spared us the stress of getting lost in an unfamiliar area. Moreover, the added convenience of a nearby convenient store proved to be a cherry on top, making it easy for us to grab any necessities we required during our visit.

Extremely good. 10 out of 10. Staff is always nice, food at the restaurant is not good as we were told, would recommend to get to city walk and visit local restaurants. Trust me, you gonna save your money and taste real food. At the nighttime visit a rooftop of hotel with a restaurant on it. Great place to drink some wine and talk to ladies with hourly payment.

How much check in was done by Feruza with a little help of what seems to be her superior. Though it took a while before somebody came to collect our luggage checkin procedure was really welcoming. Cold towels, welcome drinks, while getting the administration soughted out. After we settled in the room, we went to the lounge, given access to due to the fact that we reserved a suite (room 1405). Sharif (or charif?) was there to welcome us and made sure our needs were met. Breakfast is a feast. Suite was spacious and comfortable. We had dinner in Ember located on the 17th floor of the hotel serving great Japanese food. See our separate review for our findings over there. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that they do not have a souvenir shop so that you can buy a quick present for your loved ones. This venue just opened last March and is great to see how much effort staff is putting in to give you a wonderful state.

Our family of three stayed in the Stylo Hotel's two-bedroom room and were very satisfied. The two-bedroom room has two bedrooms, one with a standard double bed and the other with two single beds. There are two bathrooms, one There is a shower facility, while the other one is simpler and does not have a shower. The living room is equipped with a large sofa and a TV. Please note that when using the remote control to adjust the volume, you need to push the volume button up or down to adjust the volume. The living room is connected to the kitchen, which is equipped with a full set of cutlery, dishes, cups and other tableware. Equipped with a small pot and a pan, it even comes with a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is a Chinese restaurant a few dozen meters south of the hotel on the same side of the road, and a series of large restaurants across the road with local flavors. There are also pizzas, etc. Across the road, turn north into the side street and there are some small restaurants, which are open until very late. There is a large supermarket chain Korzinka in the nearby Huawei company building. You can find it on Google Map or Amap. I found on the map that it is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel and should be the nearest large supermarket. There is a large bazaar on the east side of the intersection not far south of the hotel, selling vegetables and fruits. The hotel charges $15 per person for breakfast, which we didn't try. All in all, Stylo Hotel is a very good choice for family travel.

GGuest User2023.07.10
This was our first visit to Uzbekistan with an open mind on what we would end up doing in Tashkent. We took the safer bet by starting our country tour with the Marriott brand we know well. We were not disappointed! This is a well-run, spacious, clean hotel and was an ideal choice to begin with. Predictably, the décor is totally “Marriott!”, so lacks a Central Asian feel to it, but that is as the brand dictates. In the kitchen they make up for that with an excellent range of menu items that spans great local Uzbeki dishes and high-quality international cuisine. There is clearly a lot of pride in the kitchen shown by the attention given to good presentation. The breakfast buffet is good too. It would be good if the hotel made more effort to promote Uzbek wines at the Lobby Bar, rather than focus on the more expensive international ones. In the restaurant, there is only a limited choice of local wine compared to other places and no wine at all in the 8th Floor bar. These are all minor quibbles though. It is the attitude of the staff that makes this hotel work best. Everyone is keen to give a good professional impression in each of their roles. The reception and restaurant staff were without exception universally polite, efficient and friendly. We were ever so thankful to Shuhrat at the front desk who got us well-organised from the start with a local SIM card, dealing with money and making helpful suggestions on how to tackle Tashkent and then organise the rest of our stay not only in Tashkent buy beyond. He is soft-spoken and gracious and a good listener. He could read our preferences quickly. On our return, it was Shuhrat who organised a very good driver/guide to visit the mountains and encouraged us to take a dip to go to the beach on Lake Charvak and enjoy a dip there. A big thank you to everyone at the Tashkent Courtyard for helping to make this one of the best exploratory vacations we ever had.

GGuest UserVery satisfied. First of all, the location is not in the city center, but it is close to the Grand Bazaar, which is also an advantage. It is also close to the subway station. In Uzbekistan, where taxis are so cheap, being far away is really nothing. As for the service, I asked the front desk about everything and always got the answer I wanted. Especially when taking the subway, because there is no English broadcast in the Tashkent subway, I was a little nervous. The guy at the front desk printed a subway map for me and carefully marked the places I wanted to go, which was very useful. When I got to the subway, I took this map to show the staff where I wanted to go.
The hotel is located on a quiet street deep in a large low-rise residential area in the city center. The building is 3-storey with an elevator. To the left of the hotel about 400 meters to Shota Rustaveli Avenue, at the intersection there are several restaurants (the food is delicious) and shops, including Svyaznoy (you can buy a local SIM card). And if you go straight, then in about 15 minutes you can reach the agricultural market (a good place to buy nuts, dried fruits, fresh fruits and vegetables, prices are noticeably lower than where the guides bring them). We stayed at this hotel twice for 2 nights at intervals of several days (this is how the tour was arranged). The first time we got a room on the 2nd floor with windows on the side facade, the second time we got a room on the 3rd floor with windows on the rear facade. The rooms are very similar, the main difference: in the first room there were 2 small windows under the ceiling, and in the second there was a normal window almost the entire width of the wall. In the rooms: 2 double bed, 2 bedside tables, air conditioning, TV, desk, kettle, containers with tea, granulated sugar and instant coffee, a couple of 0.5 liter bottles of water, bathroom with shower. Everything is fine. The mattress on the bed is high and probably not cheap, but it is hard and my bad back did not like it. Breakfast buffet is excellent. There was even fruit, including newly introduced local cherries. But every day is the same, after all, the hotel is not designed for long-term stays. The staff is friendly, and they responded immediately to a request for help sorting out the channels. By the way, about the channels. Viewing is organized through the iTV application, which still needs to be found, but there are no instructions. So don't hesitate to call the reception. The hotel is clean, the room is cleaned every day, without any comments.
KKWonderful location and great quality service. Large room in contemporary style furniture. Warm and comfortable beddings. Great 24hr access to a Hot water and central heating is kudos to this hotel during this winter season.
Hotel Personal is helpful and open for assistance at any time upon guest request.
Cons: Circulating security guard in the main lobby with swinging car keys in his hands is unfortunate site seeing.
Wishing bar could stay open past midnight. During my stay the hotel pool and spa center was not operating and closed.
Overall best value hotel from 20 in the city
GGuest UserI was in Tashkent in October 2022. I chose this hotel because the rooms have quite a large area and the price is not very high. At that time there were almost no other cheaper options, and all of them had very small rooms. Initially booked the hotel for 3 days to understand whether it would suit me, but planned to live 1-2 week in Tashkent, and then fly to Dubai. As a result, the hotel did not arrange me, and therefore did not extend it. The main reason is very bad Wi-Fi. It is quite unstable, constantly disabled. Speed changes greatly during the day. Late night and night work fast (probably at this time few users) and the rest is very slow. I had to broadcast the daytime, so for me it was critical. Mobile Internet (try Ucell and Bilaine) didn't help, speed and stability too are insufficient. The second minus is the location. The hotel is far from the city center. So go to the center for quite a long and far (but cheap - Yandex taxi in Tashkent is cheap). And many deliveries of food refuse to deliver to the area. The room is spacious. In general, the hotel is beautiful. Furniture in the room is erased, but it is not critical to me. On sound isolation - in the room I have never heard neighbors. Sometimes airplanes are heard because there is an airport nearby, but it didn't bother me. And sometimes you hear muezin, but too quite quiet. The room is blackout curtains, so if you close the curtains, the room is dark, sleep well. Small minus - very small safe. It has a huge hardness to enter even the iPad (you have to insert it under the corner and put it in a tilted position on the wall). The last day the hotel turned off the light for a few minutes. The air conditioner is periodically broken (2 times in 3 days), it needs to be re-enabled in the shield. In October the room is quite cold, but if the air conditioner is put on heating, it turns out normal. On breakfast there are many different dishes, everything is delicious. Especially liked the puffed pancakes. Maintenance and cleaning everything is good. Cleaning 1 times a day. On the last day I picked up another hotel, but saw that there was a cheap direct ticket to Dubai, and flew there :) Plus: - spacious rooms - quite quiet - price - good breakfasts Minus: - very bad Wi-Fi, not suitable for work - location - Far from the center, there are not many deliveries - a small safe of Over: The hotel is not bad, but next time I will look for in the center and with a better Wi-Fi.
ЧЧекалкинI've overnight stayed at my stopover in Tashkent. Very nice and cozy hotel in the heart of the city. The staff is warm-hearted and respectable. Clean room, all you need for traveling, and smooth check-in even though my flight arrived late at night.
DDonovan_lNestled amidst the vibrant streets of Tashkent, the Ramada Tashkent offers a tranquil oasis for travelers seeking both comfort and convenience. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay.
The rooms at Ramada Tashkent exude a sense of understated elegance, with modern furnishings and plush bedding that provide the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploration. There was not much of a view of the city skyline (as we were on level 2), but every detail was carefully curated to ensure a restful and rejuvenating experience. They even sent a complimentary fruits platter to the room as it was my mother’s birthday. Definitely will come back and stay again.
Advantages
✅10 min to/ from the airport
✅1km from Tashkent train station
✅Some food options within walking distance
✅Nice and quiet neighbourhood
SSantoshWe family of three stayed twice here, first one night before going to Samarkand and then returning back at Tashkent for three days. The hotel location is excellent as , restaurants, cafes, stores at walk-able distance. Also the peaceful area.
The hotel provided us spacious room with three separate beds , apt for family. As we were checking out early at six am for flight, hotel counter staff provided us lunch boxes, which was good gestures.
We could easily catch yandex taxi as well walk around city.
Overall satisfying stay, value for money.
Need more spread in breakfast.
GGuest UserThe staff were accommodating. The rooms were very clean. It was close to the airport which was easier after a long flight. The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was exquisite. It is definitely the best hotel that I have stayed in.
CCHING WEE LANGThe location is very easy to find. There are a few supermarkets just opposite the hotel. ATM machine just in front of hotel. The staffs were very helpful, the room was clean. We stayed for three nights, found that every morning the breakfast was the same, if they could change the menu would be much appreciated. Overall We enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all the friendly staffs that served us.
GGuest UserIt is functional accommodation with a central location walkable to the metro, and amir square right behind the hotel Uzbekistan. Pros: 1. Smooth check-in 2. Rooms are small but functional 3. it is an old property but functional in a good manner 4. Helpful staff, Reception will help to book Yandex taxi 5. Large and decorative lobby with ample seating 6. Recommended if budget is a concern - MId segment 7. Breakfast - Nice one with clear demarcation of VEg and non Veg items 8. In-house Indian restaurant - ”Rajkapur” 9. Lots of parking and located on the main road - Easy to access by walking or taxi or public transport Cons: 1. Nothing since we consider it to be a basic but functional and clean premise for a couple of nights We stayed one night and it worked for us, we may return for short stay again
