The hotel boasts a great location, conveniently close to both the subway and major attractions. However, after check-in, I experienced knocking on my door followed by it being opened, which made me feel incredibly unsafe. As I was staying there with my child, I felt extremely anxious, and at night, I even had to block the door with a table before going to sleep.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Louvre and other key attractions. The breakfast was high quality, and the service was good. However, the downside is that the room's soundproofing is very poor, and there was constant noise from the pipes.

Due to a change in our travel plans, we ended up extending our stay at this hotel for two extra days in Paris! Its incredibly convenient location, making it easy to get anywhere, was a key factor in our decision. I've already covered many aspects in my previous review, so this time I'll focus on the breakfast. The breakfast selection was comparable to what you'd find at a business hotel in China, but it was absolutely delicious! Waffles and bread were, of course, available, but the absolute highlight was the croissants. The French pastries were truly exquisite; I've never had anything so soft and tender back home. The self-service juicer, where you could visibly see fresh oranges being squeezed, was quite a fun touch! The apricot juice from the fridge was also quite good; I noticed it was a local French brand not available in China. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended! I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Paris!

The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to buses and subways for getting anywhere. Just be sure to check Google Maps for any public transport schedule adjustments. The room itself was surprisingly larger than expected, which was a pleasant bonus, offering plenty of space for two people's luggage. It was also impeccably clean and tidied daily. My only minor complaint is that the hairdryer had very little power. Aside from that, everything else was excellent, and I highly recommend this place! As a general note about European hotels: breakfasts are often quite basic with limited choices, so exploring local cafes for breakfast can be a fantastic alternative.

We were assigned a room on the 6th floor. Everything else was satisfactory, apart from having to walk up one flight of stairs. I must particularly mention that I forgot my cash and bank cards in the room safe. I only realized this a day after checking out. Upon contacting Ctrip, I quickly received a satisfactory response. The hotel demonstrated great honesty, and Ctrip's service was exceptional. Special commendation goes to Mr. Zhan (Ctrip employee ID 816290) for his very prompt communication with the hotel and for resolving our issue.

Fine for a quick overnight stay. The room was small, but the bedding was comfortable enough, and it was very quiet at night.

Really great hotel for the price. It is in an excellent location, around the corner is loads of bars and restaurants. It is perfectly positioned to not feel too touristy but has plenty to do. It is a 20 minute walk to the Louvre. Very close to the Metros, so easy to get around. I felt very safe in this hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms are small but clean, and have a large window. I would highly recommend for a weekend away.

The room was incredibly tiny. It was ridiculous that we even had to walk through the breakfast area to get to our room. The hotel hallways had a dated 70s vibe. The most alarming incident was when a staff member, supposedly checking the room, gave two quick knocks and then immediately opened the door and walked right in without waiting for any response – a shocking invasion of privacy. I genuinely feared for my safety while sleeping at night. The front desk staff were generally fine, but the room service was severely lacking.

What I loved most about this hotel was its fantastic location. It's only a 20-minute walk to the Louvre, and many other places we wanted to visit were easily accessible on foot. Crucially, the area felt incredibly safe and lively, whether we were out during the day or at night. Facilities: As is typical for hotels in the Opera district, the rooms here are quite small and the amenities are rather basic.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of major attractions like the Louvre and shopping malls. The surrounding area also offers a fantastic variety of restaurants, including some Asian cuisine options. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. However, the only aspect we were dissatisfied with was the cleanliness. Every day, the bath towels had black stains, rendering them completely unusable. Furthermore, on the last day of our four-day stay, the room cleaning was exceptionally messy, with the trash bin even tipped over on the floor.

This hotel is located 3 minutes from the Metro (M8) and there is a bus stop 100m down the road with others on the larger road 50 m up the street.  Passage des Panoramas is about 7 minutes walk (up to Bd Montmartre, turn right and walk for a block and a bit) with pizza/pasta restaurants and more. Plenty of places to eat on main road. The hotel room we had on the 5th floor was an average size for Paris with room to open our bag on the floor, air conditioning, small fridge, jug and an opening window.  The shower was great but the toilet was a bit “squeezy”. The pillows were soft but the bed was quite hard. TV had lots of channels, including some English language (BBC, CNN + more) and there were a few sports channels. The lift was just large enough for 2 people and luggage.
Response from Property: Dear Guest,Thank you for your kind review regarding your recent stay at Hôtel Mercure Paris Opéra Louvre. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our convenient location and the amenities provided in your room.
