"Booked with Jet2, large coach from airport so was dropped off at top of hill, van was waiting to take our cases, we were supplied a map to get to the hotel. It was an easy 5 minute walk with a small incline leading up to the hotel. By the time we checked in, our cases arrived. We were on the first floor which was very walkable using stairs but there is a lift if needed. Our room was small, as expected, but had everything you need. Listed on Jet2 were robe and slippers, these are not supplied. On request and confused looks, we did get 2 robes but no slippers. If I had known I would have taken appropriate footwear. Towels changed daily, sheets changed 3 times for 10 days. Breakfast staff were a highlight always willing to help with a smile. The toaster was an experience alone with a set of pliers. Please buy your staff a new toaster!! Breakfast offerings were the same each day, but there was always plenty and refreshed regularly. Parga is a beautiful place with an island feel, if you want a relaxing, do nothing, holiday, this is the place."

"We were met by the owner promptly once a phone call had been made. She & the maid helped us with our suitcases into the apartment. She explained everything in the apartment well. The location is perfect for exploring Parga, literally a couple of minutes walk to the harbour front. Check out her video on YouTube. The apartment was very clean & kept clean for the duration of our stay. It is very well equipped. The aircon & safe are free & easy to use. We were on the first floor with views over the harbour and towards the castle. I would highly recommend the Olympic studios. There is a step slope & steps down, but it wasn’t a problem. Looking forward to our stay there next year."

"Great find in a the lovely village of Anthousa. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Lovely view over Valtos Bay. Had a studio apartment which was a good size. Nice pool area with access to the waterfall. The beach is within walking distance. Didn’t have transport so relied on taxis to Parga town or the water taxi from Valtos beach. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend. The village has a number of restaurants and places for coffee, a bakery, a supermarket and a pharmacy. On the route to Ali Pasha castle. The water taxi to Parga town is every half hour between 1000 and 2300."

"Would highly recommend staying at the lovely Valtos Ionion studios in Parga. We had a beautiful 2nd floor studio room with balcony and sea views. Everywhere was spotless. I would say a much higher standard than it’s 2 star rating. Comfy loungers and shades at pool. The pictures on Jet2 website don’t do it justice. 10 min walk to Valtos beach and 15 min to Parga town. Lots of lovely places to eat nearby. Hostess was very friendly. 70 euros for air conditioning per week and 30 euros for safe which I felt was a bit expensive. But all in all a fantastic place and would stay again."

"Absolutely Glorious - A Gem of a hotel to stay in beautiful Parga: Our 2nd stay at this stunning, beautifully family run, "top quality everything" boutique hotel. We travelled from New Zealand (again) to stay here. We can't recommend this wonderful family run hotel enough - it is simply gorgeous. The rooms and suites are beautiful & spacious. Infinity poolside comfort, delicious and fine cuisine on the Dining Terrace, great poolside menu & bar. Irida is situated a short walk above Parga town, with it's wide range of everything for all holidaymakers - from beaches to shopping. We love it there. Thank you for such a wonderful stay with you again. We will be back again very soon. "Travelled with my husband and teenage son. Upon arrival to get to your room you need to ring the number posted on the door just down the hill, the owner appeared instantly and showed us to our room. Booked 1 bed apt, hoped for a sea view but we ended up on the ground floor, with only a view of a wall but so glad we did. We had a large terrace and the sun only shone on it for an hour or so in the afternoon and didn't touch the windows which meant the apt was cool all day/night. Free air con but wasn't always needed even though the temps were in the mid 30's. The apts are located on a hill, with lots of steps from the main road (where you are dropped off) so not suitable for those with mobility issues. As we were on the ground floor we only had to walk down/up them once when we arrived/left. From our apt we were 1 minute walk (if that) to bars/restaurants/2 mins from shops & the port jetty. Apt had 2 large rooms, air con, free wifi, free safe. Main room with double sofa bed, TV and plenty of storage. Kitchen included 2 rings, kettle, oven/grill & sandwich maker. Bedroom had a very large comfortable bed with memory foam mattress. Another TV, aircon & plenty of storage. Bathroom was lovely. Walk-in shower with huge shower head. Hairdryer. Rooms cleaned every day and towels bedding changed mid-week. We had a lovely stay, would definitely recommend the location and if you don't mind not having a view ask for room 113. We didn't mind as we were out all of the time."

"Beautiful apartments clean, fresh and roomy. This was our third year here. The staff are the lovely cleaner, poolman Leo and evening receptionist Sophia who were more than helpful. The first year (2024) when we stayed there were parasols to shade under and plenty of areas to sunbathe in. The second year (2025) a covered area had been erected and the parasols had been replaced by electronically operated retractable awnings which were opened or closed when requested at reception. This year (2026) the system was similar except the awnings were automatically extended over the sunbeds at 14:00 and no matter how many sunbathing guests (either individually or collectively) requested for them to be retracted they remained out shading the sunbeds , which meant not one sunbed was in the sun. Other than this we had a brilliant holiday, our 8th time in Parga. Photos show pool area 2024 and 2026"

"The hotel is set overlooking the bay. It is a very unique hotel and the stand out aspect is the service and friendliness of the staff. It’s perfect for a relaxing holiday. We spent days in the infinity pool just watching the activity in Parga below. The walk into town takes 5 minutes. ( please note the driveway to the hotel is very steep so those with mobility issues may need to check this out prior to booking). Breakfast is served either on your terrace or pool side bar. It’s just lovely."

"Very disappointing experience, especially considering we paid almost €2,000 for 10 nights. The location has a beautiful view from the balcony, but there are many properties with beautiful views in Greece. We chose these apartments specifically because we were five people and needed suitable accommodation for our group. The road up to the property is very steep and difficult. There are no mirrors at the difficult sections, visibility is poor, and when driving downhill it can be difficult to see oncoming cars or pedestrians. This is something guests are not warned about, and no proper safety measures have been provided. If you do not have a car, I would not recommend staying here. Even with a car, I saw larger vehicles struggling to make it up the hill. We paid almost €2,000 for 10 nights, but unfortunately we did not experience the level of comfort or hospitality we expected. We never expect any special treatment. However, after 15 years of travelling around Greece, we have always encountered welcoming hosts who genuinely try to make you feel at home, rather than making you feel as if you owe them something for a service you have already paid for. Now, regarding the actual problems with the apartment. There was no frying pan, only two pots, which was rather strange for an apartment intended for guests. Some of the forks were in poor condition. The refrigerator was old and dirty, as was the oven. The sofa had visible stains. One of the bedrooms was significantly darker than it appeared in the photos, which may be important for some guests. Small bottles of shampoo were provided only once. I did not bring my own soap or shower gel because these are normally available even in apartments. The hairdryer was old, poor quality and became extremely hot, so I recommend bringing your own. Water also did not drain properly from the second bathroom. Now for the most important part. The host states that the apartment is cleaned every four days, which he personally told me. The rubbish was collected daily. However, when we returned to the apartment, we repeatedly found the door unlocked, even though we always locked it with the key when leaving. There is no safe in the apartment, so our personal belongings were left inside. We could return late in the evening and still find the apartment unlocked. I informed the host, Anastasios, about this several times, but he chose to ignore the issue. Then came the most unacceptable situation. One day, after returning from the beach, I found dirty replacement bed linen on my bed, with large black stains. My own bed linen had been clean that morning, without any stains or damage. The replacement linen had clearly been used and was also damaged. A pillow with holes was placed on the bed as well. I reported this to Anastasios. His response was extremely rude, and instead of simply coming to check the problem and replace the dirty linen that had been left for us, he started accusing me of making complaints and demands. He even suggested that I wash the linen myself. After that, he simply wrote “have a wonderful day” and stopped responding to my messages. Instead of addressing the actual issue, he completely shifted the conversation towards the fact that we had a large apartment and a beautiful view. But the fact that dirty and damaged bed linen had been placed on our bed during the cleaning service seemed to be of no concern to him. I contacted Trip.com to make a formal complaint, and they attempted to contact Anastasios regarding the situation. He did not respond to their calls. This is the first time in our 15 years of travelling around Greece that we have experienced such an unacceptable attitude towards guests. This is why we experienced such a strong contrast between our actual stay and the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I honestly find it difficult to understand. I have kept all photographs and the entire correspondence, and Trip.com is now reviewing the situation."
