Fabulous relaxing stay. Everything perfect as always. A lovely welcome from Valentina. Room kept spotless by Ruby and Delma. Ernesto and Ruby prepared a wonderful breakfast every day and kept us happy with drinks by the pool. And of course the amazing Spiros who inspires with his calm presence, fabulous knowledge about cocktails and everything else and just a lovely human being who helped make our stay just perfect. Thank you Sofia we hope to be back.

We had such a lovely stay at the hotel. The hotel is a smaller and cozy one, which was perfect for us. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and everything in the hotel was clean and nicely maintained. We did not bring towels for the beach, but the staff gladly lend us some for each trip. Extremely nice service from the hotel staff all in all. I loved sitting at the pool area for breakfast. So relaxing and super cozy. We also very much enjoyed lying on the sun beds at the pool as well as the pool itself.

The hotel is clean, breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool area is very relaxing and has a great view of the nearby mountains.

The hotel and staff were satisfactory. However, we chose a suite, which was an extra cost to Jet2. The pictures both of the hotel and rooms was exact. However, with regard to our suite, this comprised of one room, with corridor and wet room. As it was on the ground floor, all windows were boarded up for privacy, but made the room exceptionally dark. This wasn’t helped by the lack of hanging space, as our clothes were hung up around the room. There was no seating area, except for two chairs and a coffee table at the end of the corridor. Definitely not two rooms as the picture on both websites shows. Also, the garden area with sunbeds was small with little sun, surrounded with bushes. I feel this is false advertising but, having spoken with Jet 2, they do not agree. Will not be using Jet 2 holidays again and advise anyone booking this hotel to avoid staying in a suite, as you could get the one we had!!

The hotel is fairly small and quiet, with a nice pool area (very nice sunbeds!). They offer lunch by the pool, but I cant recommend it. Its edible, but anywhere else you get much better food in Parga. Room is okey, enough space, decent bed and fairly clean overall. Fridge is not very cold at all, but this seems pretty common in Greece. Bathroom is spacious, but the drainage was working very poorly (had to keep turning off the water while showering so that we wouldnt flood the whole bathroom). Breakfast had quite a limited options, but mostly everything offered was ok/good. Coffee was not the best though. Special mention has to be given for the fresh orange juice available, big plus in my books! The biggest issue is the location. The hotel is not very close to anything and its a bit of a walk to closest market/restaurants. While this in itself would not be a huge deal, but the hotel is also located on a really steep hill. Getting up that hill, especially during peak summer heat gets more and more gruesome by the day and you really have to plan your trips to minimize the need to get up there multiple times in a day. I also have to mention, that there doesnt seem to be almost any Taxis in this city, very hard to find. Because of the location, I would not come here again, but rather choose another hotel, maybe closer to the city, but atleast one that is not on top of any damn hills!

Back again to this hidden gem just outside Parga. Beautiful location fabulous and attentive service. Beautiful room very well kept. A massive thank you to Valentina, Ruby , Ernesto and Delma. And a massive thank you to the wonderful Spiros . He not only makes amazing cocktails but is so knowledgeable about the area and is happy to share the information. Beautiful location! Small hotel for Adults only. We spent 7 nights in this charming place. It is up a very steep hill but our fitness improved over the week! You can also get a taxi. Breakfast is plentiful & served by Ruby & Ernesto who were a joy to see everyday. Spiros, always smiling made great cocktails & food at the bar in the afternoon and evenings. Delma was always helpful. Pool towels appeared by magic as soon as you sat on a sunbed. Valentina was very welcoming when we arrived. We will definitely be back again. 😊

Solo traveller to Parga here. Stayed at the Racconto for some peace at the pool after my exploration days out. Very quiet and relaxing, perfect for couples or solos. It's also Adults only so no kids around! Pool & Bar - Very well maintained overall with fantastic staff who always say hello. Nice decor for that boutique touch. Beds are comfy with towels if requested. Pool is nice for a dip. It's very private with large trees around with some mountains views. Room - Great sized with balcony's or if on the ground floor, a garden. Showers are nice with good temperature control! Beds are great! Location & distance to parga town - Quiet location about 200m from the main road which leads to parga town. Roughly a 15/20 minute stroll or 10-12 min pace walk. The hotel is up a steep hill so take your time or enjoy the challenge! Would suggest good shoes with grip due to newly tarmac surface. Breakfast - Lovely breakfasts with breads, jams, chocolate spreads, fruits, sliced meats, coffee & juices. Always prepped the morning of. There is no Fry Ups (English breakfast). However the snack menu has pizzas, sandwiches, etc. All very well made! I had such a great time here as a solo stay. Thank you to the staff who made me feel welcome :)

Lovely modern minimalist hotel with beautiful decor. The pool,bar, breakfast area was very pretty and always clean & tidy. Breakfast simple but tasty. The air conditioner in the bedroom was excellent . The hotel has a relaxing quiet atmosphere and all the staff are efficient & helpful. It’s worth noting the walk from the main road up to the hotel is brutal - not long but very steep. Some guests used a taxi but we enjoyed the daily challenge!

I hesitated before writing this as I wanted to keep this place secret as it is so special. Well amazing from the start. Greeting by Valentina who showed us the ropes with a smile. A lovely lady. Room immaculate and beautifully simple. Hotel amazing, very relaxing. Ruby and Ernesto were a great team to serve a lovely breakfast every morning always with a smile.Fresh mini omelettes lovely fruit and croissants and Ernesto even made a cake one day. The room was kept spotless by Ruby.Vibe amazing and very quiet and relaxing. People complain about the steep climb to the hotel but that is part of the charm. Spiros was fabulous , so friendly and knowledgeable about drink , cocktails and advice on where to eat as well as about life generally. A brilliant formula here and we have already booked our return trip.

This hotel has a very nice poolarea open until 20.00. It is a small quiet hotel. Staff in the pool area are very nice. However, it is located very far from the beach and also quite far from Parga city center. It looks close on the map but as the hotel is located up on a hill it is very steep. I hae a good stamina but yet be prepared to be very tired and sweaty each time you go up to the hotel. Prices in the hotel bar open until 24.00 were approx 4-5 Euros for a beer and 10 Euros for cocktails (8 at happy hour 18.00-20.00). You should strongly consider whether you can take taxi everyday or rent a car or choose a hotel closer to the beach. Renting a car is possible but parking slot allowed maximum 6 cars in front of the hotel gate and taxidrivers were not superhappy to turn on the narrow road outside the hotel. Taxi costs 11 Euros to Lichnos beach and 6-7 Euros to Parga city and 11 Euros to the Old town castle. Parga is extremely crowded with a lot of cars from closests nearby country and these cars have very little manners in their search for free parking along all roads in Parga making it extremely crowded in end of July lots of cars blocking the walking areas and pedestrian street (not pleasant at all after 20.00 in Parga city). Food is not the best at the hotel but affordable 10-12 Euros per dish. There were some sallads and club sandwiches to choose from. Much better food in Parga city but again very crowded after 20.00 and need for taxi or a sweaty walk. Rooms: We were in the ground floor suite and unfortunately there were ants in the bathroom throughout the whole stay despite some actions were taken by hotel. Also the layout of the rooms were generous but not optimal as there were night bed lights missing (Sockets missing) and not super smart planned when charging several iphones and need of light. We travelled through a travel agency in which the ground floor was a bit more expensive due to a primised large private terrace garden of 40 square meters with private sunbeds beloning to each room. However there were no such sunbeds when we arrived and the terrace was much smaller (maximum 15-20 Square meters) than promised in the booking. Unfortunately our room was just next to the parking area making it quite noisy everytime the cars arrived. Going to the beach: The taxi was approximetaly 20-22 Euros back and forth to Lichnos/Hotel. Sunbeds were 10 Euros for 2 beds at Lichnos. A day at the beach with Taxi and food at Lichnos beach restaurant (Coral) plus sunbeds ended up approximately 85-120 Euros for the two of us each time we went to the beach. A would give the score 3.5

We have just spent a fantastic week at Racconto. It was perfect. Spotlessly clean, stylish and the hard working staff are all so helpful and friendly. It’s very quiet too, and almost like having a private villa with our own pool and chef/bartender some days. It is a bit of a steep walk to and from town in the heat, but we soon got used to it and taxis are easy to get when we didn’t want to walk. We’ll be back!

My husband and I stayed here September 2023. We were fortunate enough to have one of their two Junior Garden Suites which was beautiful, clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Although we did have a garden area to sunbathe we did use the hotel pool area most days. Breakfast is served by the Pool which was a continental style breakfast consisting of meats, cheeses, tomatoes, pastries, fruits, breads, cereals, yogurts etc. There was certainly enough selection that you will not go hungry. During the day the pool bar serves a selection of drinks, cocktails and bar snacks. The hotel staff will go above and beyond to ensure you have the most wonderful stay and we would like to thank Annie at reception, Ruby in housekeeping and Ernesto and Spiros at the Bar for looking after us during our stay. It was very much appreciated. The only negative I can mention, which isn't about the hotel, is the gradient of the hill to get to the hotel. It is VERY steep and if you have any mobility / health concerns then the location may deter you. If you're transferring with a tour operator from the airport be mindful that you will have to pull your luggage up and back down the hill to the hotel if there is no car to meet you from the coach. The coach only stops on the main road. Parga itself is beautiful and we WILL return.
