"We loved Palazzo Papaleo. While it was a little challenging to find, it was worth it. If you have heavy luggage, call ahead of time so they can send help. You cannot get your car nearby. Service is what makes this place. If you’re lucky enough to go when Sasha is there, he will take care of you. Front desk staff was also great. Breakfast on the rooftop is perfect with great views. It’s located in the old town which is charming & a close walk to everything. I will recommend to anyone traveling to this area."

"I can only review positively: very clean and organized structure; location away from Otranto but there is a bus stop 5 minutes' walk away; excellent quality and varied food (fish always present) for any need waiters available; beach 200m away, clean and a lifeguard always present, there is also a bar (pity there is no possibility of beers and drinks for customers with an all-inclusive option), the shoreline extends for 1km overlooking various beaches and attractions; rooms are dated but you can see that there is attention to keeping them efficient (mosquito nets are missing). "I recently stayed for 5 nights and had a great visit. The place is immaculate and quiet. My bedroom was very large with a window and a huge bathroom with large fluffy towels. The breakfast was generous with assorted meats, cheeses, fruits, juices and coffee. The location is conveniently close to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. Otranto is very walkable and this is a great location with a kind, helpful staff. The owner arranged an airport pick up and return for me. Brindisi airport is 100 kilometers away and my arriving flight was st 11pm and departure was at 6am so this was an enormous help."
