Relais Valle Dell'Idro
"Location very close to the city center."
Masseria dei Monaci
"A few minutes' drive south of the magical Otranto lies this Masseria, which we really liked. It is definitely an ideal starting point for exploring the town and the surrounding area and retreating in the evening to an absolutely peaceful and lovingly designed environment. We stayed in superior room no. 14. With two private terraces, one of which actually had a sea view, it was probably the best in its category. The furnishings were brand new and very tasteful - not luxurious, but remarkably attractive and comfortable. The whole complex is harmoniously decorated in the typical local shades of sand, white and beige. Everything is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The restaurant has a few special features: It is a bit strange that the charming boss's office is set up in the restaurant itself. So you get her business phone calls served with your coffee, so to speak. Otherwise, the breakfast with many high-quality, local products ensures an enjoyable start to the day. While there is a huge and fantastic selection of freshly baked cakes and pastries, the bread selection is rather sparse for Central European habits. Dinner is only served if enough guests sign up. An exquisite fish menu is then offered (no choice!), with which many wonderful regional wines can also be ordered - all at prices that do not spoil the enjoyment. We found the staff to be remarkably friendly, even warm, and helpful. We can only recommend this place without reservation."
Residence Altair - Serra Degli Alimini
"Location immersed in a well-kept garden. The apartments are ultra comfortable, with a private garden. Excellent beds and pillows. Functional kitchen and bathroom. Olympic-size swimming pool among the olive trees. Very close to the sea. Rich and delicious breakfast. Kind and helpful owner and staff. Fantastic stay for those who want tranquility and relaxation."
Sole del Mediterraneo
"We had an amazing stay near the beach, and it was exactly what we were looking for! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the family and their daughter, who spoke excellent English. The room was ready, and we were able to check in immediately. It was clean, featured a nice fridge, and offered a stunning view of their beautiful garden. The beach was only a 15-minute bike ride away, and we were able to borrow bikes from them. The owner even ensured our reservation at a local restaurant. To top it all off, we enjoyed a very tasty breakfast on our balcony, complete with fresh fruits, eggs, pastries, and more. I would definitely recommend this place!"
Masseria Fabrizio
"Unfortunately, I stayed only one night in this beautiful place, because our trip had already booked moves, near Otranto, in the countryside, with everything that needs, The lovely pool and the friendlyness of the people who chocolated us both for a fast lunch, aperitif in the pool and we stopped for dinner, where they made us eat very good local things."
Corte di Nettuno - Cdshotels
"Great little hotel with wonderful staff in a good location at the Marina end of Otranto town. 2 minute walk to the castle & onward into the historical centre. Everything they do at Corte di Nettuno, they do well. Staff are very welcoming, kind, & professional. Breakfast is very high quality with a lovely selection for all tastes. Bathrooms & bedrooms well equipped, very comfortable bed & pillows & good bed linen. The hotel is in a lovely building combining old & new details - beautiful traditional local stone work with elegant modern details. The courtyard garden is very attractively laid out, with beautiful sea-themed ironwork, modern, comfortable seating & lovely planting. Easy walk to the town beaches but the hotel also offer a free shuttle to lidos about 10km away which is fun. Roof top terrace with sun loungers & showers is an excellent facility. Hotel is spotlessly clean with good air conditioning and boy did we need it during a heatwave. The hotel has a nautical theme with a huge array of antique maritime objects and this is carried through creatively in the detail throughout. Our thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable, particularly Christian, Paola & Romina. We hope to see you again !"
Hotel Miramare
"Nice room. The girl who serves breakfast was very unfriendly."
Hotel Palazzo Papaleo
"Great location in historic Otranto. Staff are kind and wonderful. Rooftop lounge and jacuzzi are a great place to unwind. "
Basiliani - Cdshotels
"The hotel is located about 1.5 km from the town center. The hotel is well-maintained. It has a nice pool and plenty of loungers. The rooms are fine. The food (dinner) is good, surprisingly good. Breakfast is average, nothing special. There's no kiosk on site (drinks have to be carried uphill from the town in the heat or purchased at the hotel bar). There's a shuttle bus (for a fee) to the beach. There's no welcome drink in the room."

Masseria Mongiò Dell'Elefante
"We were delighted to get an Email from the masseria when we landed at Brindisi airport. Apparently we wouldn’t make dinner that night but would we like a snack delivered to our room? That is attention to detail and it set the tone for our 10 night stay in mid-September. After a 50 minute transfer arranged by the masseria we were warmly greeted by Sophia and guided to our accommodation. Waiting for us was a Caprese salad, some cheese and a very nice bottle of primitivo red. Our suite was called Alimini and consisted of a living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. It’s in the main building beside the restaurant. They’ve gone for the bare aesthetic, no decoration or ornamentation except wood and stone. I like it, especially the floors which are polished local limestone. They’re a beautiful cream colour and cool underfoot. The walls were 50-60 cms thick and this also helps keep the rooms cool. Both the living room and bedroom had double doors out into a small garden area. It was a nice suite, not overly large but comfortable. The bed was quite firm a duvet under the fitted sheet helped enormously. There’s a small kitchen unit in a cupboard. It has 2 cooking rings, a sink and all the pots and pans you might need to do some light cooking. I’m not sure why one would use this given the wonderful food (see below). We thought the bathroom (1.5m square) rather small and the shower a bit dark and with a narrow 30-35cm entrance. I’m not sure the shower doors are necessary really as the shower was probably 1-2m deep. There was a set of bare stone stairs right over the bed and we were occasionally woken by people going up and down, sometimes very late at night. These are minor inconveniences to be fair but there it is. The electricity in the room is activated by the door entry card. Presumably to stop wasted energy but it made charging devices reliant on our presence in the room. So, bring enough chargers to charge everything simultaneously, we hadn’t. This made it a bit tricky juggling charges and adaptors. The bedroom air conditioning temperature was limited to 24C which was fine but this is something we’ve never encountered anywhere else. Again I imagine this is to conserve energy. It did not inconvenience us but it seemed odd. The gardens are very pleasant, well laid out and beautifully maintained. Some fairy lights might be nice, but that’s a very personal thing. I always say there’s very little in life that can’t be improved by fairy lights! There was a little automated lawn mower that we nicknamed Marvin. He looked a little lonely pottering around but so dedicated to his sisyphean task. The restaurant and the terrace are on the ground level and you go down some curving stairs to the Reception, Spa and breakfast room. i.e. under the restaurant/terrace. People generally collected their breakfast and brought it back upstairs to eat in the morning light but we opted to avoid that and simply ate at one of the tables downstairs. There’s the normal range o"
Baglioni Masseria Muzza Resort & Spa
"The trip was extremely enjoyable. In particular the housing and service was excellent. I enjoyed the sunset cocktails and the terrace at the sunset bar. Guiseppe and the front office team as well as the housekeeping were noteworthy. Big shout out to Mauro snd the GM Victor!"
Masseria Un Posto Al Sole
"Our stay at Masseria Un Posto al Sole was truly one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. The property itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and maintained with great care. The garden is stunning, peaceful, and perfectly kept, while the pool area is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. What made our stay truly special, however, were the owners. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with incredible warmth and kindness. They made us feel less like guests and more like part of their family. Their genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and willingness to help created an atmosphere that is very rare to find. Even after our stay had ended, they went above and beyond by helping us find another accommodation when we were unhappy with the place we had booked next. Unfortunately, they were fully booked at the time, otherwise we would have returned immediately without hesitation. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay near Otranto, combined with exceptional hospitality and people who truly care about their guests, this is the place. We hope to come back very soon. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!"

"We had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious food for all tastes. The beach was just next door with a very well-organized shuttle service. On top of that, the entertainment team made our stay even better with their energy and support. Special thanks to Michael for being such a great entertainer and also an excellent padel teammate!"

VOI Alimini Resort
"A pleasant stay, we enjoyed everything, room, meals, swimming pool and beach. The hotel was quiet, perhaps because it was the end of the season, but that did not bother us. The hotel is well maintained. Many staff speak French."
Dimora San Giuseppe Hotel & Spa
"A truly wonderful stay, excellent value, a beautiful suite, exceptional service and a wonderful breakfast. The location is also perfect, a five minute walk to the castle and waterfront. We look forward to coming back in the coming years."
Masseria Muntibianchi AgriResort Restaurant & Spa
"What to say, a magnificent and enchanting place cared for in every way, professional and super kind staff at the height of the structure, as regards the quality of the food I would say that it is excellent with extremely high quality products. What to say also the quality-price ratio is remarkable. Recommended to all people who want to rediscover tradition and innovation fused together."
Vittoria Resort Pool & Spa
"We loved this hotel, the staff were so friendly, especially on reception. Our room was large, with two good-sized wardrobes, a safe, toiletries, fridge, and a balcony with drying facilities. Decor is a bit dated but very much in the italian style you find in most hotels in Italy. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were really high quality. Air conditioning was a bit warm the first night, and you can't change the temperature in the room. However, if you go to reception, they can adjust it for you, and then it was great. The hotel is relaxing and quiet, the pool area was beautiful and peaceful, with lots of beds and chairs but it can get a bit busy later in the afternoon. We ate at the pool bar, the food was simple, a bit slow to come out sometimes but it was really tasty. They also have a good selection of drinks, including proper coffees, beers, wines, and ice cream. The pool was much larger than we expected a good depth all the way along, and you can do a really good length when swimming. Lots of spaces for your car if you have one however, again, it does get busy in the later afternoon. We didn't eat in the restaurant however we did have breakfast, it was a bit basic, the selection of items is good however the quality is not the best we've experienced in Iraly. The hotel is so convenient for the town and beach it is literally a 5 min walk to the promenade with all the restaurants and bars and around 7 mins to the old town. We loved to walk down in the morning and then again at night to watch the sunset, get some drinks, and then dinner. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back."
Masseria Prosperi
"This is a very special place. A wonderful oasis of rustic calm, located close to some amazing coastline. Property: stylish, relaxing, beautiful gardens with the farm animals and super friendly dogs and cats wondering around - it really makes you feel so calm. An oasis of beauty. Staff: amazingly helpful and friendly. Lots of recommendations. The owner (Mercedes) is super nice and kind and friendly. Amenities: lovely rooms and beautiful common areas. Great breakfast. Wonderful dinner experience. Good WiFi. Location: amazing coastline within 5 minutes drive. Otranto is 10 minutes. Overall: heaven."
Bio Agriturismo Salos
"The camping is in a wonderful spot of Puglia, nearby Otranto on the Adriatic see. Best camping site I’ve been in Puglia!! Clean, comfortable, and full of amenities, a special mention to the staff, everybody super friendly and welcoming.. well everybody has been very good except for Simone, who has been exceptional from every point of view!! "
Masseria Panareo
"We have just recently come back from our lovely vacation i Pulgia and we were able to stay at Masseria panareo hotel!! wow is what i can say, from the hospitality, cleanliness to the beautifull countryside views. The rooms were sooo clean, the AC was fully functional and they were soundproff so we could not hear any noise from outside, we stayed i room 24 omg it had an amazing view of the countryside, the sea and the olive oil trees, rooms were all well serviced, the resurant staff were so amazing, i would really like to send my gratituide to Panb i dont know if i spelled it correct but she is from India works in the evening and she works with resturant team, she is so proffesional and so kind with all hotell customers. Thanks to the manager and all the staff."
A Casa dei Miei - Camere in Centro
"The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. The most important thing was the treatment received by the owner, Luca. Although initially assured us a full refund, when we cancelled, he offered us only a small part of the money, which is unacceptable because we had to leave the accommodation and find another place to stay. The hotel is a very good hotel and is very good at the hotel."
Masseria l'Uliveto Agri Resort
"We ate at this uninspiring masseria on August 15th. We were there with a group, and I don't want to completely blame the masseria. They didn't come back to our table with anything, made a fuss about water, and charged us for a liter of wine in a carafe, which we asked for extra. In my opinion, it would be better if they didn't accept groups unless they could provide decent food—and I repeat, decent, no, not much else. Furthermore, eating under one of the pergolas in the heat it was, didn't seem like the right thing to do. As for the rest, I don't know, but I can say that the atmosphere seemed well-kept in every way."
