"This place has a lot of potential, but also leaves a lot to be desired. Having booked a cabin, we were tucked away from most other rooms however the noise between our block of 3 cabins travelled terribly. We could hear full clear conversations from our neighbours, meaning our rest was dictated by the plans of others around us. The cabin itself was okay, but felt in need of a good refresh. There was a general musty smell within the room and the inner window didn't shut due to wood swelling. The space appeared generally clean, but again, felt as though it was in need of a deep clean to get rid of dust and dirt. The location itself is lovely, staff and service was good, but for the price we paid for the room and the space we got, I dont feel this was good value."

"Having visited for lunch in September, we decided to revisit and stay the night. We stayed in the Nidderdale Suite which was lovely, very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Woke up to lovely views, peace and quiet. The restaurant is really cosy and atmospheric and the food is superb, imaginative and very well presented. The staff are all friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The ethos of the owners shines throughout - a cosy, spotlessly clean and high class establishment, looking after guests and giving them a relaxed and very enjoyable experience."

"Great location, great room, great staff, just the one small issue...3 flights of stairs to the room we were staying in. My partner has disabilities unfortunately and climbing that lot caused her a few issues. Based on that we wouldn't go back there which is sad really as we really loved the place. It's perfectly placed in Otley, the room itself was nicely decorated and cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I think a lift would be beneficial but it would probably be way too expensive to do that. Regardless of those darn stairs i would still give it a 10 out of 10."
