"The hotel is located in a private tourist area, very quiet and comfortable. The hotel staff also explained in detail the tourist activities in the area. Unfortunately, it was too cold in the room at night and there was no heating."

I never do reviews on the basis that if its good keep it to yourself so that the place does not become so popular that its full the next time you want to stay .As this was my last of 3 visits to Namibia I will not be returning due to advanced old age and I am happy to make an exception. "Really nice chalets with indoor bbq and all equipment provided. Small pool but beautiful views. Staff kind and helpful. 2 hr Tour is one cheetah one lion and one leopard. You can go inside the cheetah cage. My family enjoyed the tour. Cheetah conservation fund was well worth a visit and Alogrove arranged this for us."

"Two nights at Waterberg Guest Farm. Mid-level accomodation, a little far from everything. We enjoyed our bungalow and the quietness of the nights. However, some minor problems, such as: defective illumination of the walkway to the bungalow, no AC in the bungalow, not enough resting possibilities around the pool... are to be mentioned. Service was friendly, although a little inefficient at times."

Mount Etjo Safari Lodge

"When you first arrive, you instantly relax. The staff are nice and helpful and while it feels like a mom and pop kind of place, it's run like a first rate hotel. Check in was easy and we found our room quickly. It was one of the family rooms and it was really spacious with a beautiful shower, a jacuzzi tub, comfy furnishings and a bed I could have spent a week in. They thought of every detail and it made for a truly lovely experience. On the river across from our room you could sit on benches and watch/listen to the pod of hippos, see elephants, a variety of antelope and pelicans - without ever going on a game drive. The pool was relaxing and we felt so relaxed and welcomed there. The food was very good, not sure who their pastry chef is but they are incredible. The nightly soup was a delight, each bowl was delicious! The waitstaff were very attentive and nice. We went on two game drives, one in the afternoon and one in the morning - both were amazing in their own right but since it was chilly in the morning - the afternoon drive had more animals out for viewing. But, there were other things about the morning drive that made it special. The guides were awesome and had interesting facts about the animals I had never heard. All in all it was an amazing stay and I would return in a heartbeat!! Great job Mt. Etjo!"
