I recommend booking the lower bunk. The upper bunk has no partition, and there's a wall above it. There was a very handsome guy at the front desk who made me crazy. The bed was very comfortable. It was a bit cold inside because there was only one heater vent, and the air conditioning didn't seem to be working. The wifi was almost nonexistent. There's a bar on the first floor, and you can order free drinks, but I didn't try it. The view from the first floor is stunning. I'm so lucky to have found this place. Although it's far from Minami Otaru, I had to walk nearly a kilometer with my suitcase, and it was uphill, but the price was great. I love Otaru.

The clerks are all handsome. There is a bar on the first floor at night, so it is a bit noisy when checking in. It was said to be a separate room for ladies, but it was separated from the mixed room for men and women by a screen, so you could hear everything they said. The public area is very small and you can only go to the first floor. Poor Wi-Fi
