Since I came at the end of ski season, it was very quiet with not many people around, which made it even more relaxing. One funny moment was arriving at night, we had to check in at Unplanned 1 but our room was at Unplanned 2, so we got a bit lost. Overall, everything was great and I’d definitely recommend staying here!"

One of the shop owners is a beautiful girl from Xinjiang. Her lamb skewers with nanpai are so delicious that I ate them for two days in a row. The video was shot from the hotel window."

"This hotel offers convenient ski-in/ski-out access, perfect for skiers. The open-air onsen is fantastic; a soak after a day on the slopes really helps to relieve fatigue! The room was spacious, but unfortunately, the central air conditioning meant guests couldn't adjust the room temperature, making it a bit too warm. The buffet breakfast and dinner, especially the Japanese food, were decent, but the Western options were just average. Overall, it was okay."

"Very satisfied with the accommodation! If you take the bus yourself, you can ask the guesthouse to arrange a private car to pick you up from Tsugaike Kogen Bus stop (reservations can only be made by phone). The rooms are the same as in the photos, the rooms on the 2nd floor have bathrooms, but the rooms on the 3rd floor do not. The restaurant overlooks the ski resort, and there is free wine during happy hour and dinner. I've stayed in many other B&Bs and hotels that require additional fees. The outdoor hot spring is a bit small and will be crowded if there are more than 4 people. Highly recommended"

"The location is 100 points, very close to the ski resort; there is a ski equipment rental shop in the hotel, with discounts and English communication Since I stayed for 7 days, I was a little surprised that the room was not cleaned, the trash was not cleared, and the towels were not changed. Even if it was not cleaned every day, I thought it would be done at least every 3-4 days, so the hygiene was a little disappointing (maybe I didn't notice they were like that.) The hotel staff are polite but basically only understand Japanese If you are going on a ski trip, I would still recommend this hotel, but don't be too demanding on hygiene/service/food."

"I stayed here for two nights during the Obon holiday. The children in the next room and the owner's children were playing with me, which was very heartwarming. I usually don't eat white rice because I'm on a low-carb diet, but this was so delicious that I had seconds. The ropeway to Tsugaike Nature Park is nearby, so I was able to arrive early and take a walk in the morning, which was great. They recommended wines and I was able to choose from them, which was delicious."
