I came from Mito to Oarai. There are shuttles, but there is a bus that goes right in front of the hotel, so it was easy to get there. If you are lucky, you can also take the signboard wrapping bus. This is also a project to attract Koreans in Ibaraki Prefecture, and I made a reservation for 70,000 won per night including breakfast. I made a standard twin room with a spacious 24m². The front desk is on the 2nd floor and the embankment is on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, there is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it may be difficult to go up and down the stairs. The room is like home, so you can take off your shoes and walk around barefoot or in slippers, and the bathroom and toilet are completely separate. However, the sink is a little small, and it feels like a traditional Japanese toilet, so it is still unfamiliar. However, if you want to use the large bath at the hotel, you can use the large bath as much as you want within a set time at the Oarai Hotel, which is about a 3-minute walk away, so I washed up here every day. Foot massages, green tea, and ice cream are also free. Since it is a large room, there are two beds and a charger next to it, so you can use your phone while sleeping! Oarai is a small town, so it is much easier to get around by bicycle than by bus. Usually, you can rent an electric bicycle at the station for 1,000-1,500 yen per day, but this hotel rents an electric bicycle for 600 yen per day, so I rode it for 1,800 yen for 3 days, which was a good deal. You can ride it as much as you want until midnight, and when you are done riding, you can bring it to the front desk and they will recharge it. There are two types of breakfast: a buffet and a set meal. According to my guess, it is a buffet on weekends and a set meal on weekdays. Either way, it is delicious and plentiful, and eating breakfast while looking at the ocean right in front and the torii on the ocean was really emotional. I want to take pictures of the life-size signboards that I haven't been to and go to the stores that I haven't been to, so I want to stay here if I come back later.

There are four floors in total, the 2nd floor is for reception, the 3rd and 4th floors are for accommodation, and there is no elevator. The window faces the Pacific Ocean, and it is very beautiful and convenient to watch the sunrise in the morning. Breakfast drinks are self-service, and the rest is one portion per person. It includes egg bacon salad bread cream soup. Opposite the hotel is a shrine and a bus station. Next to the mountain water cuisine, eat monkfish hot pot.

It's a bit far from Oarai Station, but the bus stop is right in front, so it's not inconvenient to get around. The only downside is that there's no elevator, but the price and view make up for it. And the electric bikes you can rent in the hotel are also nice.

The location of the hotel is amazing: first, it is located opposite the Oarai Isosaki Shrine⛩️; second, you can hear the sound of the waves right outside the window of the room, and it is perfect for watching the sunrise🌅; third, the transportation is cheap, and the Oarai Station tour bus stops at the door; fourth, the breakfast is simple but delicious, and the key is to see the beautiful sea at close range; fifth, you can walk a hundred meters to the Oarai Hotel to take a bath.

The room was great. The rooms in the area are just bigger than those in Tokyo, and are about the same as those in China. The Isozen Shrine is right outside the door, and the Kamiso Torii is outside the window. The scenery is very good. The breakfast was also very rich. Because it is an annex of the Oarai Hotel, you can also use the Oarai Hotel's bathhouse (but I didn't go). The front desk may not speak English very well, so it is recommended to communicate in Japanese.

It was great. One window of the room faced the sea and you could see the Torii directly. I highly recommend staying here. It was a pity that we were unlucky. It was cloudy for two days and rained for one day. We didn't see the sunrise or sunset.

I have been to Oarai several times, and I always choose this hotel. The sea is right outside the window, and you can see the torii on the sea. When you cross the road, you will see Oarai Isomae Shrine. There are several restaurants within a 100-minute walking radius, and the taste is pretty good. The hotel is small and exquisite as a whole. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the lobby on the ground floor face the sea, and the scenery is very beautiful. You can also order some simple meals, snacks, and drinks to enjoy the beautiful scenery, and there are comic books to kill time. The hotel has an electric power bicycle rental service, which is much more convenient than buses or taxis for a small area like Oarai! In the morning, you don’t have to be outside in the wind and cold to take pictures of the sunrise, you can take them directly in the room The only drawback is that there is no elevator, which may not be convenient for tourists carrying large boxes, but the front desk guy can help female tourists carry them up (men have to carry them themselves...)

The room is large and well-planned; the desk facing the sea is amazing, the view is first-class, and the comfort is strong. But the hotel has two disadvantages: 1. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs by yourself; 2. There is no dinner, but the restaurants in Oarai end their dinners very early, so it is a bit inconvenient to not have a hotel with one night and two meals... However, the disadvantages do not outweigh the advantages. The view and the price are still worth it!

Book a room with breakfast or you won't find anything to eat before 10 o'clock! There is a bus to Oarai Station at the door, but Google doesn't show this route! Otherwise, just walk for 40 minutes🫠

The room was quiet and clean, and you could directly enjoy the sea view of Oarai Shrine from the window. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of check-in, so we didn't see the sunrise. But if I have the chance, I hope to visit again!

The transportation is a bit inconvenient, but it is very close to the beach, especially from the room you can see the torii on the sea, the view is very good, and you can also hear the sound of the waves. There is free coffee, candy and biscuits to eat, and you can also take a bath, which is very cost-effective.
