"🚗: It's a little over 4 hours' drive from Beijing, with 3 hours on the highway and 1 hour on country roads, very easy to navigate. We stopped at Anziling service area for a break; it's quite large with good greenery, perfect for walking a small dog. 🏠: The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, so I chose a courtyard garden view room. This room type comes with a small yard, and stepping out the door leads directly to a large lawn where you can run freely. The guesthouse also has a second phase, a bit further up the mountain, which is relatively quieter and more private. 🍱: The chef at the guesthouse restaurant is excellent. We had four meals there, and every dish was delicious, especially the stir-fried red mushrooms – super tasty! The guesthouse also serves great cocktails; I recommend asking the bartender for a 'blind box' creation [drink milk tea R] – the flavors are very unique. 🙋🏻‍♀️: All the staff are very warm and proactive in anticipating guests' needs. They genuinely love dogs, which made us pet owners feel very comfortable and happy. Every morning at 9:30, they organize a mushroom foraging trip to the back mountain. The mountain is very natural and wild, and our dog had an amazing time, though we didn't find any mushrooms, he came back covered in burrs 🙆🏻‍♀️. In the afternoon, around 3 or 4, they also organize handicraft activities. Staying here with a dog, you really feel like you don't need to go out to play; every day can be very fulfilling."
