This hotel is great! Definitely worth praising! When evaluating a hotel, it usually comes down to a few things: service, facilities, and location. To be fair, besides the location—as it's newly opened and Yangshan Village isn't the most famous spot yet, and while the ancient trail nearby is known in outdoor circles, most tourists likely focus more on the Dongqian Lake area—everything else was excellent. Service: The butler-style service was incredibly thoughtful. Especially the female front desk staff I encountered. Her humanistic care for guests was evident in every detail. (Once, my car wasn't parked well, and I exited through the back door. This staff member actually ran out in the cold to guide me and help me park correctly. For breakfast the next day, since the hotel currently offers set menus, and we came down late, she specifically told us that if we didn't want to come down the next day, they could deliver it to our room.) Being pet-friendly is also a crucial point. The hotel, from the front desk to the guest rooms, showed no signs of perfunctoriness or displeasure due to our dog's presence. On the contrary, there was a harmonious balance between people and pets, which was very humane. Facilities: As I mentioned, the hotel is newly opened. Although the location isn't right next to a major scenic spot, the interior design and room amenities are all top-notch. Cleanliness, tidiness, and warmth are fundamental. Every day when we returned, our room was sparkling clean. This truly deserves a thumbs up! It's not a large hotel, probably only about 30-something rooms, but it's small yet exquisite. All the necessary facilities are available. Driving back in the mountains at night, you'll see the hotel's warm lights from afar. The entire hotel is enveloped in this cozy atmosphere, bringing you warmth on a cold winter's night. As a long-time member of ”Shuxiang” (Bookish Charm), I've recommended it to friends and family, from the initial two hotels in Nanjing—where I always stayed when visiting—to the later ones in Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Wuxi. As a domestic hotel management brand, ”Shuxiang” genuinely feels on par with globally renowned brands like InterContinental or Accor. I hope our own ”Shuxiang” continues to improve. It truly embodies the saying, ”Poetic genius is born of deep learning; books lead to great things!”
