There were also complimentary laundry facilities and a gym on the second floor. The staff were warm and attentive. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Penglai."

"This place is super close to the beach (great for tidal flat exploring), Chaoyang Street, Yantai Mountain, and Suochengli. The location is convenient, facilities are complete, and it's very clean. If you have trouble sleeping, you definitely need to book this place! I slept incredibly well both nights – it's pitch black in the room. Even though it was peak season and the hotel was busy, it was quiet inside the room with excellent soundproofing. My kids had a fantastic time too!"

The room was spotless, with no stains on the floor. The sheets and duvet covers were changed for every guest and felt dry and soft to the touch. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the vanity, mirror, and toilet were all thoroughly cleaned, free of water stains and grime. The toiletries were well-stocked, making for a truly reassuring stay. The service was also exceptionally warm. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, with no waiting. They helped store my luggage and patiently answered my questions about directions and train schedules without any perfunctory responses. The service was thoughtful and down-to-earth, without being overly enthusiastic, which made for a perfectly comfortable stay. The biggest surprise was the hotel's excellent soundproofing. I was initially worried about train noise and street sounds due to its proximity to the station, but once the windows were closed, the room was incredibly quiet. My sleep wasn't disturbed by external noise at all. The air conditioning worked well for both cooling and heating, the lighting was soft, and the bed had just the right firmness. After a long day of traveling, I was able to get a peaceful night's sleep. The value for money is outstanding in the train station area. The prices are fair and reasonable, without the inflated rates you often see in hotels around stations. It's perfect for single travelers in transit, business temporary stays, or short trips. The next time I need to catch a train here, Lanyu Hotel will still be my top choice. I truly recommend everyone stay here!"

"The room was clean and the facilities were new. Parking was convenient, and breakfast was rich and varied! I especially loved Atour's coffee and soy milk. For breakfast, they had Yantai braised mung bean jelly and super large mackerel dumplings. The dumplings were so fresh and juicy, truly delicious! The service was also very thoughtful!"

"Meihao is generally my top choice for business trips. It's great for temporary office work with stable Wi-Fi and plenty of charging outlets. The bathroom is clean, making it very suitable for business travelers. This time, we were on a family trip and chose the Happy Family Room. The room was quite clean, had a great view, and was spacious with very comfortable bedding. The large and small double beds were combined to form a super-sized bed, which was very comfortable for a family of four. The TV was huge, which the kids absolutely loved. They spent the morning watching SpongeBob on it until 11:50 AM before we finally got ready to leave. It was our last night of the trip, and overall it was good; the whole family slept soundly, and everyone enjoyed the TV. The lobby has a feature wall that's perfect for photos. The only minor drawbacks were the lack of an eye-care desk lamp, which isn't ideal for kids who need to do homework on vacation. Also, there was a long wait for the laundry and dryer. We couldn't get our clothes dried after washing them at night, and there was still a queue at 6:30 AM the next day. A warm moment before we left was with the parking attendant. We forgot to get our parking ticket from the hotel, and the lady kindly reminded us. Her hospitality really showed the warm and welcoming spirit of the people in Shandong. Our trip was too short, we didn't get enough time to enjoy everything. Looking forward to coming back again!"
