Comfy bed, we had a King Bed which was lovely and firm and the shower had great pressure.. nice and quiet despite being on a main road.. would recommend. easy to get to town, and other faciilties..good little kitchen for preparing basic food.

Good place to stay especially for a family or a group of friends. Nice location only 2 mins drive to town so you got access to everything you need. Good value for money. Hospitable staff. Highly Recommended.

Friendly, helpful staff and a quiet location close to everything. Comfortable beds, clean, spacious units and good room service. I definitely recommend this motel as an affordable, comfortable place to stay !

Tony was really accommodating and could assist with any requests we had. My room upstairs had a queen and single bed which was very spacious. It had a little kitchen where we could cook some food - it was very convenient. The room and bathroom was really clean and neat too. We had an amazing view to Mount Taranaki. The beds were a bit too soft for my liking but still comfortable. The blankets provided were warm enough for us but there were extra blankets and heater in the cupboard and electric blankets on the beds. It was nice and quiet. Really close to town - only 3-5 mins drive away. We could walk to Pukekura park - took about 5-7 mins to walk there. Highly recommended.

The room is spacious and clean. The location is central and handy to everything. Our room was upstairs and even though the motel is near to the main road, it's nice and quiet. The bed is comfortable. Reception is friendly and helpful. the kitchenette is well equipped. Wifi is good. Plenty of complementary tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and there is even a discount for pensioners. Good value for your money.

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating and our pet dog was made very welcome. It was nice and quiet - the next unit had a new baby staying but we didn't hear a thing. Great value for money.

The reception staff was very nice and helpful. Felt very welcomed. The room was clean, spacious and well kept. Very handy location. Overall loved my stay even though it was for 1 night. Would definitely go back there again.

Good location, Tony was very helpful and the price is right for the dated rooms. Even though the motel is on a busy road, the rooms were relatively quiet and we didn't hear much traffic noise. Would stay here again.

The room was basic but clean, with everything we needed for 2 adults, 2 teens and 1 kid. There is a dairy and chip shop near by. It is close to everything. The staff were lovely and helpful (including the lovely dog). We had a nice 3 night stay.

We had a weekend stay at the motel and it was so great to be able to wake feeling refreshed after sleeping on a comfortable bed. We had a room with a kitchen and ample space for us as well as spare beds. Our towels were refreshed daily, the room was so clean and smelt fresh. Proprietors were very friendly.

Tony the host arranged flowers for the upgraded room and was very helpful to suggest places to eat and visit. Our second visit to this motel with a ten-year gap. New Plymouth and Taranaki were lovely to see again. Lots of excellent places to eat. Great value for money. The shower was the only downside, which was limited in hot water. Weather variable, but it's winter , what else to say
