A very good location. The food menu needs to be improved.

I felt secure staying in the room and the staff was good at speaking English and helped me with my requests. I recommend that you stay in the lobby to connect to the wifi at first if you want to connect quickly, since the lobby has to activate the wifi password for you, which can take 10-15 min. It was also nice that breakfast was included though it wasn't a lot of options I think there is at least one thing for everyone's taste

Located at the heart of Cannaught Place, this transit hostel-cum-hotel is supposed to be the plush property it claims to be. In vain. Indeed, it holds all amenities - a fitness center, a swimming pool, a tennis court and a restaurant ***** with a convention center. Also, carries the boast of having considerably larger land-space at a prime spot in New Delhi. However, that's pretty much it. The downsides outweigh the few pluses (i.e if you like them as a plus). Be advised that despite a mid-range daily tariff YMCA doesn't follow general standards of hygiene, hospitality etiquettes and even room amenities. Indeed, it doesn't hurt to stay here for a day if one's travelling for business/leisure where one plans to stay out for better part of the day. However, it is still a massive let down when the money's value is far from all returns. The morbidly slow yet, conniving staff gave lame excuses for delayed orders, the cleanliness of rooms was questionable and even a let down (despite several requests). My first alloted room didn't even have wiped tables and lavratories, or even a working landline. Not to forget, the furniture was worn out and cracking in places. The airconditioners had a story worth avoiding, too. Now that I sense, it reminds of those missionary day-schools - an air of sour superiority in the staff, a touch of lameness and a whole lot of jazz. Well, "all that jazz" and no music. Beware of staying here ever, till you don't have an option. Truly Disappointing! (2 stars sheerly for the location and proximity)

Worst service, rooms are pathetic, no different options in breakfast. Most of fittings are rusted. Driking water is not provided in adequate only 1 lts in a day. No option for making tea in Room. Canteen rates are exorbitantly high. For tea it is Rs 60.

The rooms are reasonably comfortable , staff is quick and courteous, the food is good..
