Big bed, beautifull pool and excellence service. The music in the room was a nice touch. Breakfast was very nice with good coffee. The beds at the pool are quit nice, including pillow and handtowels. In the evening you can use the pooltable and Endjoy a drink

Dickman’s was our favorite hotel during our entire two week visit to Sri Lanka. From the moment my two adult daughters and I arrived, we fell in love with the staff and the relaxed, chill vibe. Just a block from the beach, it is easy to go down for a swim and enjoy chatting with the many local families on the beach. There are also many good restaurants nearby, and the staff at Dickman’s can help you choose from among them. There are also pool area and grounds were just gorgeous. Brightly painted walls, lots of plants and art. A cool oasis on even the hottest days. We opted for the Sri Lankan breakfast, which was absolutely delicious with a gorgeous fruit plate, followed by string hoppers, dhal curry and much more. Since we couldn’t come close to eating it all, the staff nicely packed it up and we had it for lunch! All in all, the staff is what really makes and experience great. And this staff did exactly that. So kind. So helpful. And just plain fun to talk with.

This is a great little boutique hotel. Arrived late at night, quiet spot off the main road. Aqua room, large, cool, lovely shower room indoor/outdoor & overlooking the great pool area. Easy walk to shops and beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast included was fresh and really good. Good value and relaxing for a stopover..

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with 6 rooms and 3 suites. We stayed in the Mango suite a large ground floor suite with massive bed and lovely rain shower. There is good air conditioning, Wi-Fi and TV including Netflix. The garden and pool are excellent and really comfortable and includes quiet and spacious places to sit in the shade or rain as well as poolside sun. Breakfast is fabulous and served from 8-12 so really laidback. The resort is small and Balinese in design and the thing that makes it so wonderful is the staff and service which I could not fault. We went partly for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and they were so lovely and kind to us on the day as well as for our whole visit. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Maybe it was the endless sunshine and the cool lion beer, but our experience at Dickman resort was truly wonderful. This resort is a hidden gem (but only a stones throw from the main town);and from the moment we stepped inside we were made to feel more like long lost friends rather than guests. The resort is small and perfectly formed with only 9 rooms it’s amazingly intimate but has all the amenities you need, restaurant (Cookie breakfast was delicious), bar, pool, loungers and chill out areas that include free roaming tortoises, a turtle sanctuary and fish. BUT what truly sets this resort apart from ANYWHERE we’ve stayed and made this into one of the best holidays ( and Birthdays); was fabulous Danu and his amazing team!! The care and genuine way in which they went about making sure we had the best time ever was amazing. Dickman Resort it seems like you’ve found the secret recipe to give your guests a perfect stay. It’s not a 5* corporate sprawling resort, it’s real, it’s genuine ans authentic and an experience like no other… THANK YOU and see you again very soon we hope Karen & Ade

We truly loved our stay at the Dickman resort. The rooms and facilities are clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff make this place truly remarkable. They are kind, helpful, friendly, and go above and beyond to create a wonderful stay for their guests. The pool is wonderful and we enjoyed having a few drinks at the bar. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious!!
