There's a restaurant downstairs from my room, and the owner was very welcoming. The room was large and clean, but there were no blankets or hot water. The deposit was $20, probably in local currency, but I didn't have that much money. I asked the owner if the door was open at 5 a.m. I asked twice, and they said yes. I had to go to the airport that morning, and the gate was locked. I searched for a long time before finding a staff member. I was speechless.

This is our first guesthouse in Sri Lanka, so I can't compare it to others. The clean sea (ocean) is a five-minute walk away, the rooms themselves are clean, and the restaurant downstairs is okay. For the price, I have no complaints.

Very dissatisfied! Mosquitoes and geckos are scurrying everywhere in the room...how disgusting! Stayed for two nights and didn't sleep the whole night. I was charged 4,000 pesos when I checked out.
