"For many years, we've been coming to the lovingly and family-run Hamilton Lodge every summer and particularly appreciate its cozy and relaxed atmosphere, which is becoming increasingly rare in (alpine) tourist regions. The Hamilton Lodge stands alone, nestled in the breathtaking landscape on the edge of the car-free mountain village of Belalp, and offers a fantastic starting point for many stunning hikes. The rooms are comfortable, the team is attentive and welcoming, and the spa after a hike (e.g., to the Foggenhorn with views of the Aletsch Glacier and the Matterhorn) is an absolute highlight. At the end of the day, you're treated to delicious meals and can unwind with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace, knowing that a comfortable bed awaits you upstairs.
