Nanjing Confucius Temple Scenic Area Manxin Hotel

This hotel was probably one of the best if not the best hotels my family and I stayed at while traveling through China. We got 1 room with 1 Queen bed and a 2nd room with 1 Queen bed and 1 single bed which could fit 2 adults if you wanted to. Both rooms were huge and spacious with plenty of room for activities. And you can crack the windows to let fresh air in. They also have a ac/heater thermostat in each room which allows you to switch to whichever you want and they work really well. Our first room was freshly cleaned upon our arrival with the floors still wet from being freshly mopped. So good to know they take their cleaning seriously. Shower was amazing with a wand and rain combo. The wand has 3 modes interchangeable modes on it and has a good strong pressure. Body wash and shampoo is supplied by the hotel. Amenities were good the robe they offer is the most comfortable robe I’ve ever used at any hotel ever. Staff was amazing and helpful they always greet you when they see you. They dont understand english but they will use a translator to help if needed. They had a laundry room which was open 24/7 with an amazing 3 washers and 3 dryers with free detergent. The gym was pretty sad with 2 cardio machines and 1 rowing machine, no weights. They also have delivery robots so if you order takeout and get it delivered to the hotel the robots will take it to your room, even taking the elevators by themselves. The location of the hotel was perfect as it’s right next to a hustle and bustling street and next to a bunch of vendor streets and also near the temple. My tip for your stay is to make sure the window is locked when you close it as it will create a seal and keep out all the street noises. I wish I knew that before hand as all I did was close it without locking and would be woken up by nonstop honking. It wasnt until my checkout day I found out locking the window makes the room eerily quiet. Overall an amazing stay and wished we stayed longer.
