"We had a wonderful time at Shangri-la. The room had a great view of the Xuan Wu lake. It has a walk-in closet and a huge bathroom. The king size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is offered on the 2nd and 40th floors. Both sides offered a good selection of western and local cuisine. The afternoon tea offered a wide selection of food and drinks as well. There is a well-equiped gym, indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. They also offered jogging guide around the Xuan Wu lake. Service is excellent. Staff is thoughtful and always looking out for our needs. They provided more of my favorite drinks in the mini bar without us asking for it. We had a wonderful experience there. The hotel is next to the metro line 1 and really accessible to several places of interest like Nanjing Museum, Xuan Wu lake, Xinjiekou shopping district, Qinhuai River, Confucius Temple, Laomendong, Presidential Palace Museum and Dabaoen temple museum. We had a wonderful experience there and we will definitely return if we are in Nanjing."

"We checked out of the Kempinski Nanjing this morning and we were thoroughly impressed with the experience. The room was immaculate, spacious, and elegantly decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay. The buffet breakfast and dinner were truly exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and freshness of the food were outstanding. A special shout out to Raymond, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. His attentiveness and professionalism truly stood out and made a significant difference in our overall experience. One area for improvement is the English proficiency of the staff. While they were all very friendly and eager to help, better English skills would enhance communication and the overall guest experience. Overall, Kempinski Nanjing offers a fantastic stay with exceptional rooms and dining. Highly recommended!"

"The room facilities are very good, very suitable for many friends to travel together, the environment is also very good, the air is very fresh. "The room was clean and tidy, the housekeeper was welcoming, we came in the off-season, and got a free room upgrade, which was very suitable for dog walking. The dog had a lot of fun, and the marmot seemed to be very interested in my dog. As soon as it saw her, it gnawed the cage. The downside is that there is too little food around, only farmhouses, and no drinks. If you like to drink, it is recommended to bring your own"

"Came to this hotel to celebrate a birthday and the staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Staff have a good attitude, they kept the cake for us and we called the reception at midnight to bring cake and they were extremely nice and friendly. Not much lunch options on site, recommend you bring your own snacks for your stay (especially if you don’t have a car) although the manager recommended us to a local lunch location 11mins drive away and it was great! Hotel is clean, you can only fill the hotspring once during your stay and it is computer operated (just call reception). Our friends were offered a free upgrade due to the cold weather and potential rain, but we wanted to try the outdoor hotspring. The outdoor hot spring has a roof that you can expand; we went on a cold evening and managed to stay outside for a good 3 hours. Walls in the hotel rooms are a bit thin, we could hear our neighbours quite easily. But all in all, a good experience! Recommend you to come check this place out whilst it is still quiet."

The hotel environment is a Chinese courtyard, elegant and quiet, especially suitable for family outings and gatherings with relatives and friends, soaking in the hot spring, listening to the birds singing, looking at the blue sky, and being in a daze, which is very comfortable! Hygiene: The hotel is very clean, the private bath is cleaned every day, and it is also safe to soak in the hot spring👍 Service: The focus is on praising the service. The staff at the front desk and restaurant are very warm and friendly, and any requests are handled very efficiently👍 The Oreo cookies in the afternoon tea restaurant are particularly delicious😋 The staff also remembered it considerately and gave it to us as a small gift when checking out, and brought hot water. "I wanted to find a place to relax on the weekend, so I chose this Shanju Qiuqiu Hotel by Tangshan, which did not disappoint.
