When I checked in, the female manager at the front desk was very enthusiastic and called a security guard to help me move my luggage. Manager Zhu Xiwu also gave me a vivid explanation of the history of the hotel, who had lived in the hotel, the details and cleverness of the design, which was great! Highly praised! The hotel itself is still very French style, and I especially like the French shutters. I stayed in two hotels in Yihe Nanjing, and the other one, Jieziyuan, was also a good experience. I will still look for this hotel next time I come to Nanjing.

In fact, what finally prompted the trip to Nanjing was this castle hotel. It was already evening when we arrived, so we couldn’t capture its flavor. A lovely story added to its beauty. The takeaway guy called and asked: "Sister, I’ve arrived at an ancient castle, are you inside?"🫢 Let me talk about the inconveniences first: According to the lobby manager, Metro Line 5 has been under construction for six years and may open in April, so transportation is inconvenient now; there are only 7 rooms in total, and there is also a villa building (third picture) that can accommodate more than a dozen people, suitable for families or small groups, and the rooms will be tight during holidays; the small balcony of my room faces the street, and it is under construction now, so there will be noise in the morning. Once the subway is repaired, some problems can be solved together. The stairs are from the early period, steeper and narrower; the wooden bed creaks when you turn over frequently... In short, don't imagine it to be too perfect🤭 What I like is the architectural style and retro design, and the manager was waiting at the door last night because I was late, and I was woken up by the sun in the morning. The breakfast waiter served the meal with a smile. The manager who changed shifts today carefully introduced Zhongshan Wharf, the ferry and the surrounding area, and also explained the history of the hotel to us.
