Staying at Bookstore Homestay (Nanjing Confucius Temple) Reviews

I'd say it's the best place for you to start your trip in China! The host really welcomes you and provides all the things that you need. The room and surroundings are clean and comfy. It's only a walk away to the metro station so it's very convenient. I would love to stay back again on my next trip to Nanjing! 🌹

I booked the hotel for my friends who went to travel China, Nanjing. This homestay was recommended by my British friends as it has close transportation links and the Confucius temple is nearby. The surrounding area is nice and peaceful.   My friends fell in love with Nanjing. If i ever go to Nanjing i would sure stay at this homestay.

5 mins walk to Fuzimiao metro station. Same metro line 3 to go to Nanjing Railway station & Nanjing South Railway station & Jimingsi (Jiming Temple). They have disposable face, body and toothbrush in the room.

Location is very good, very near of the Confucius Temple Old town also only one block from metro line 3 connects with Nanjing and Nanjing South train station, the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly , there are many restaurants even fast western food around the hotel also convenience stores , the rooms have children’s story books but there are not televisions but actually you don’t need it because you will spend most of the time outside , wifi is free and good.

Independent courtyard, close to Metro Station 3 and Confucius Temple. The housekeeper uncle and aunt are very nice, there are many books to read, the children have not watched TV for a few days, they read books, it's great, I forgot to take a picture of the courtyard, a good homestay

It's 2 minutes away from the subway station. Just across the road is the Confucius Temple. There are many picture books, suitable for bringing children, a good choice for parent-child travel [strong]

The location is very good, the subway and Confucius Temple are only a few minutes' walk away. Going to Confucius Temple in the early morning is quiet and leisurely, which is completely different from the crowded night. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, and it is very convenient to eat and buy fruits. The owner lives downstairs, and the second and third floors are guest rooms. Washing machines and dryers are free to use, and there is also a place to hang clothes. The owner is talkative and enthusiastic, busy inside and outside, tidying up the environment, and the sanitary conditions are very good. Towels have been disinfected. It is like living in a good friend's house. You can often see the owner when you go in and out, but you have absolute privacy and provide you with a clean and quiet accommodation environment.

First of all, the transportation is convenient. Exit 3 of the Confucius Temple subway station. There is a small road next to the Confucius Temple Primary School. You can see the sign of the homestay at the intersection. The Confucius Temple Scenic Area & Laomendong are around the homestay, so you can go for a walk and eat. The intersection of Jiankang Road and the Old Palace is the Shuiyoucheng Commercial Plaza opposite the Confucius Temple Road, where you can also eat and drink. Entering the homestay feels like a kindergarten renovation, which is very attractive to kids. The administrators here are very friendly. When they meet, they add WeChat to recommend nearby food and attractions. The room is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. The uncles and aunts will take the initiative to help carry the luggage upstairs. The room looks very warm, and there are bookshelves with many children's books on them. The air conditioner was turned on before we arrived, so it was very comfortable to enter the room. During the day, you can hear the bells of the elementary school next door and the sound of battery cars and people coming and going on the trail. It is still relatively quiet at night. Families with children in Nanjing can stay here. For breakfast, choose this building near the subway exit. There are KFC, Xiao Yang Sheng Jian, and Jin Tong Ji Muslim Restaurant (you can eat beef fried dumplings, red bean paste dumplings, beef noodles, and the waiters are also very friendly)

There is such a quiet and leisurely place in the bustling city center. The room is large, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and the bed is very comfortable to sleep on. Maybe it’s because I have been working in the city for a long time, I like this quiet and comfortable courtyard so much. There is a loquat tree in the yard. Aunts and uncles picked loquats for every guest who came. It was a happy and comfortable holiday. I will come again if I have the chance!

Stayed for two nights, the location is very good, very close to the subway station. The uncle and aunt were really nice and hospitable. They even gave us some pipa picked from the trees before we left. Very sweet, very sweet 😋😋😋😋
