Location is good , cleaning was very bad. They disnt vacuum the room at all while we stayed 3 nights . Didn’t refill tea and coffee even. Very bad service for 5star hotel. We paid for Family room price was almost 650usd per night including tax and got room is not nice very dirty..😳😳

The room is very, very beautiful, and it is the most satisfactory accommodation this time. Table Mountain is right in front of the window, which is really beautiful. The sunrise, sunset, and night view are nothing to say. I want to live in a fairy tale. The service is very good! ! I don't know why some people say that the review is not good! ! I am a girl traveling alone, and I dare not go to the city center by myself. The hotel lobby manager specially walked with me to the station and took pictures for me along the way. We became very good friends. The whole hotel reveals the luxury of the old brand. From the entrance to the lobby to the port in the backyard, it is so beautiful. I think it is much better than the 1w one night next door, and the view of that house is blocked. The buffet breakfast is also superb! ! There is an oyster buffet... It is perfect for an oyster head like me. I like to eat a barbecue, but the degree of roasting is different the next day, and the kitchen specially roasted some again for me. There is a fine dinning downstairs. The chef/owner is a lady. There are many cultural interpretations in the dishes, which is very good. One dish was made to entertain Michelle Obama. I was surprised that feminism is also rising here. I stayed here for many days and this is one of my favorite hotels in my life.

I real enjoyed my stay at table bay hotel. The hotel is beautiful with its unique architecture designs . The staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was very pleasant and yummy. Our too. Shad a beautiful view of the ocean. And amazing to look at especially at night. Overall I had a really exceptional experience and I would highly recommend this hotel in Cape Town.

We had two nights here as part of our travels and it's a great location to explore the waterfront. It has a definite feeling of luxury (even though I understand they are soon to have some renovations). But the most outstanding things about the hotel are their staff and client relations. Without exception, the staff were brilliant. Our initial reception, all the waiting staff in the restaurant, bar and atrium lounge, room services, the concierge sorting out our Table mountain visit after a disappointing experience there. A place is only a reflection of it's people, how well they work combined with how happy they are - at Table Bay the impression is certainly good. We didn't have dinner, but the breakfasts are excellent with sooo much choice, and a great bar with fab cocktails - again the staff couldn't be more obliging. The icing on the cake was the treat arranged because of our special occasion. It again showed that were we valued customers and it was very much appreciated

We have been regular visitors to the Table Bay over the last twenty years and our latest seven night stay was not a disappointment in any way. The rooms (we had a Mountain view which also has a wonderful view of the harbour) are spacious and well appointed and still in very good condition after nearly 30 years. The breakfast buffet is probably the best in South Africa with an amazing choice and all the staff are lovely. We are well aware that the hotel is closing shortly for a major refurbishment and change of brand. We sincerely hope that the character of this wonderful hotel, for us the best in Cape Town, is not spoilt.
