The room was very big, in fact we had both a living room and a bedroom. The view from the terrace of the room was amazing as well!

The room is spacious with a great view. we checked in late at around 10pm, so the host left the instructions and keys at the front desk for us to collect. However upon checked in we found the heaters in the room did not work, so it was very cold for the first night and there was no front desk we can ask about it. The heater was switched on the next day but it was still not as warm as expected. This can be troublesome during winter time.

Very quiet and beautiful hotel. It is very convenient if you drive by yourself, but it may be a bit hard to walk if you drag your luggage by yourself. I like the balcony outside the room the most. As soon as you open the door, you can see the snow-capped mountains opposite. The breakfast is also great and the service is very good.

The top floor room of this hotel has a great view! The room is spacious and bright. Although I stayed in a single room, it also had a terrace and the view was great. I heard other guests, who were in family rooms, complaining that the sofa bed was uncomfortable. I visited other rooms and they were really nice. Swissotel is expensive, but with the good view, I was very satisfied. There are many Asian guests here, and there are many Chinese and Korean tourists in the hotel. I drove here, so if you don't drive, there are no pick-ups or taxis, so you have to pay attention. The steep slope is very tiring. It's really tiring to climb the slope with luggage and it rains.

The hotel is located in the core area of ​​the scenic area. Free parking is available throughout Grindelwald. This hotel is halfway up the mountain. If you don't have snow tires and four-wheel drive, it is not recommended to drive up in winter. The ground is mixed with ice and snow. The hotel environment is beautiful. The breakfast is not rich, but the restaurant decoration style is very warm
