"The Opal Executive Suites is a lovely hotel, conveniently located about a 15-20 minute walk from the city center. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed, and the staff is incredibly helpful. One of the highlights is the in-room breakfast service, which adds a nice touch to the stay. We stayed in a family room located in the attic, which was cozy and well-arranged. The kids were comfortable on a high-quality sofa bed. The only small issue I noticed was the duvet, which didn’t have a separate cover—there was a sheet underneath, but not around it. While this was a minor detail for me as someone who pays close attention to cleanliness, it didn’t take away from our overall great experience. Despite this, I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and great location!"

"We love the Byron. We've loved it since we first stayed there in 1995 and this century we've been there for at least part of our holiday almost every year. Aris and his team provide a caring, welcoming, comfortable place to stay in a beautiful old building in Nafplio Old Town. Breakfasts are substantial and delicious, and while there is an indoors breakfast room there is also a terrace where you might well share the space with this season's kittens and their family (if you're concerned about hygiene, they do not jump up on tables!). The fact we first went to the hotel 30 years ago indicates that we're on the older side, so you might want to bear that in mind in our evaluation, but the Byron has its share of younger tourists and families as well."

There is a big supermarket near the hotel, driving to the castle and the beach is very close"

All rooms come with iron kettle free water wine chocolates shampoo sewing kit toothbrush tooth paste and a little snack for breakfast. They are cleaned to a high standard with clean towels everyday and beds made"

"Perfect for visiting Nafplio and its surroundings. Hotel located at the entrance to the new town on a busy road but no noise problem and it is nice to be able to park easily at the foot of the hotel, which is not always the case in the old town. The rooms are modern and clean. We had a family room with a double bed and two single beds, which is practical for children. The swimming pool is a plus when you return from an excursion. The breakfast buffet is complete. It is possible to get to the old town on foot (20 minutes) but we drove there and always found a place on the harbour. We recommend and do not hesitate to go to the Kosmos boutique next door for lunch sandwiches or pastries."

It's located 5 minutes from Napflio but in a quiet setting away from the crowds, this was a relaxing home base for us during our 6 day stay in Peloponnese. This is a Spa Hotel so you can reserve a massage and with your stay you have free use of the outdoor spa and pool. Book ahead and get the rooms with the great views. "

"Location is excellent in the old town. A smaller hotel offering very clean and unique rooms. Doesn’t feel mass produced. Each room has key pieces of furniture to make you feel at home. Reception staff excellent and helpful. Walking distance to all the beautiful waterfront restaurants. History all around. Good beds. Breakfast in the dining area good. Great fresh squeezed orange juice. Ask for a kettle if you want for your room as they don’t leave them in the room. Water provided. Small pool area with nice furniture to sit and have a drink in the evenings. Was an option to eat breakfast outside but a bit cold when we were there. One of our favourite places on a 4 week trip."

"The hotel is located in the old town, at a stone throw to everything. Parking is not allowed at the premises, however you can load/unload luggages in front of the hotel. Our room is at the top, with a jacuzzi in the balcony, which will need to take steps for the highest foor. With heavy luggage, would be good to request rooms on 1st floor with direct lift access instead."

The hotel is spotlessly clean and well run by the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. We loved everything about our stay and would certainly recommend it. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious!"
