Really 5-star hotel... It is located right in the heart of WangXianGu. The location alone worth every penny.
Mind you that taxi will only bring you to the main reception area. From there depending on what your room number is, you may be 100mtr or 800mtr away from the reception. And due to the nature of the terrains, this also requires a bit of stamina as you may have to walk down to the river where the hustle-and-bustle are or walk up to the breakfast area. But no worries they have porters to help you with the luggages. FYI check in time is 3pm onwards.
We had the duplex room so the 2nd bed is on the mezzanine level. And our bedroom window facing right at the valley where at night they lights up everything. What a beautiful sight to behold 😍.

This B&B is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Both the hardware and software are first-class. The room design is grand, bright and spacious. You can lie on the bed and watch the sunrise. The configuration is high-end, and the toiletries and skin care products are all Bulgari; the quality of the bath towels and bedding can be seen to be carefully selected by the owner, and the wardrobe exudes a faint fragrance. Although the breakfast is not much, it is very delicate, and it is suitable for people like us who don't eat spicy food. I heard from the boss that the dishes can be booked in advance. I must come to try it if I have the opportunity in the future. The boss and his family are all enthusiastic, cheerful, very nice, and answer any questions. They also took us to the scenic spots. I hope to have the opportunity to come again in the future.

I have never stayed in a B&B with a pipeline machine. The boss also picked up and dropped off the hotel and helped carry luggage to the third floor. The restaurant next door is affordable and tastes pretty good. Overall, it was a relatively comfortable trip~

We booked this little guest house/hotel durning National Holiday as we would visit the scenic area near by. The hotel is approximately 3 km away from the scenic area and there are shuttle busses or the boss can take you or of course you can walk.
The hotel itself is lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a room on floor 5 with a terrace, bath tub and projector. The room also had a small refrigerator for our beers.
The hosts were absolutely wonderful and made excellent recommendations for us to eat at the local places.
Excellent coffee was available in the lobby and we also were given some fruits and snacks each day.
I can highly recommend this little hotel and would love to return sometime in the future.

The location is great, very close to the high-speed rail station. The room is clean, and it is worth staying in such a configuration for more than 100 yuan! it was a little hard to find the hotel/ the taxi driver looked for the place more then 15 minutes
the owners do not know english so the comunication was hard.

- Works well for one night in the area
Cons:
- Breakfast had few vegetarian options. We asked for vegetarian but received chicken noodles and a pork dumpling. No coffee.
- There is the main street right in front of the hotel. Also there is a foodcourt with animation, so it can be a bit noisy.
As we didn't really enjoy the Wangxian valley too much for a second visit the next day, we would not again stay overnight but rather return in the evening to Sangrao to a Holiday inn or similar hotel.

AAnonymous UserI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle.
My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating.
The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems.
We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints.
The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket.
Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view.
We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat.
Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together.
The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them.
The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them.
The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

PPei PeiWe had an amazing stay at this homestay ! The location is strategic, situated right along the main road of the nearest village to Wangxian Valley Scenic Park. Despite being in a busy area with many shops nearby, the homestay is surprisingly quiet, thanks to it good soundproofing, ensuring us a peaceful rest.
The room was exactly as shown in the pictures—very clean and well-maintained. What truly set this homestay apart was the exceptional hospitality of the lady boss and her brother. From the moment we made our booking, she was incredibly responsive on WeChat, answering all our questions and even arranging a transfer from the high-speed rail station to the homestay.
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, allowing us to stay in side-by-side rooms for the convenience of taking care of my elderly father. We arrived quite late, around 9 PM, yet we were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift set, including a packet of milk and some bread—such a kind gesture from the owner.
During our stay, we were also invited to join the local Chap Goh Mei celebration, which was a fantastic cultural experience for us. Breakfast was provided through vouchers, allowing us to try delicious meals from different nearby shops on both mornings.
Another highlight was the free shuttle service to Wangxian Valley. The lady boss’s brother was incredibly prompt—whenever we called, he arrived within minutes. Upon checkout, we received a beautiful set of bowls as a farewell gift, which was a lovely touch.
We were from Malaysia. This was our first time traveling free and easy in China, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The warmth and generosity of the hosts made our trip truly memorable. By the way, the lady boss also able to communicate in English. I believe this well make communication easy for those English speakers. Really highly recommended!

房间与照片完全一致，非常干净整洁。但最让我们感动的是女老板和她弟弟无微不至的热情款待。从预订开始，女老板就在微信上非常及时地回复我们的所有问题，还贴心地帮我们安排了从高铁站到民宿的接送服务。
抵达民族宿时，我们意外收到了房间升级的惊喜，让我们可以住在相邻的房间，方便照顾年迈的父亲。我们到达时已是晚上9点，但仍然得到了热情的欢迎，老板娘还贴心地赠送了一份小礼物——一袋牛奶和面包，真的很温暖！
入住期间，老板娘还特意邀请我们参加元宵节（十五暝）前夕的当地庆祝活动，让我们大开眼界，感受到浓厚的地方文化氛围。早餐方面，民宿提供早餐券，可以前往附近的商店用餐，我们连续两天尝试了不同的店家，每家都非常美味。
民宿还提供免费接送服务前往望仙谷景区，速度极快。我们打电话，几分钟内老板娘的弟弟就会到达接送我们，十分方便。退房时，像其他客人一样，我们还收到了一份精美的瓷碗作为纪念品，真的很用心！
我们是马来西亚人，这是我们第一次在中国自由行，酒店的热情服务让整个旅程变得轻松又难忘，强烈推荐！

The B&B is very close to the Wangxian Valley Scenic Area, and the drive takes a few minutes. The owner will arrange a car for free pick-up, and the driver is also very kind. The breakfast is cooked by the owner himself, which is nutritious and healthy. Dinner can be eaten in the village or the scenic area, which is economical. We ate at the Pangshen Restaurant not far from the B&B recommended by the owner. The local flavor, the local specialty artemisia fried bacon, and the chrysanthemum dish can be tried. I think it's delicious. This trip to Wangxian Valley was very happy, and the food, accommodation and transportation were superb, and it was well received!

Breakfast was delicious and the location was close to the Wangxian Valley, and they offer a drop off and pick up service too which is great. Definitely would recommend. The views of the river and bridge are beautiful too

GGuest UserFaultless service, despite no-lift, our luggage was carried to/from our room without us having to lift a finger; help booked private transport/car from Shangrao and to Wuyuan. Smart-featured room. in-house cafe which is hard to find elsewhere. Great location, being the nearest village outside of scenic spot, only 20minute walk to Wangxian scenic spot entrance. Room was decent size, clean, good quality bedsheet/pillow, and has great rain shower box. I would stay here again.

The owner saw that we came back late and reminded us that it would take a lot of time to slaughter the local chicken. Although the journey to Huangling is not far, the boss will also pick you up and drop you off, and is always available upon call.

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

WWHUThis is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money!
The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing.
Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁
The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift.
Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍
The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes.
We liked it here so much that we booked a second night.
There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby.
