The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

We took advantage of Hangzhou's spring break for an off-peak trip to Wuyuan before the May Day holiday. The prices were very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. It was our first time in Wuyuan, and the guesthouse we picked had a wonderful natural environment with fresh air. We stayed for several days, and the owner was incredibly warm and helpful, plus the place was very clean. There's a lake nearby where we even enjoyed a bamboo raft ride. The kids absolutely loved it!

This place is absolutely beautiful. The hotel owner is a gem, he went out of his way numerous times to make sure that my stay was perfect. He picked me up from the train station in a grand car for a very fair fare. He also helped me rent a bike and even dropped me off on a beautiful road to cycle along to. Without him.I would have not been able to experience the beautiful countryside riding a bike, which is something I recommemd to anyone visiting the region. The land is so peaceful and preserved and you can stop in small non commercialized villages along your bike ride. Regarding my room, it was big, quiet, had an awesome view, the water temperature and pressure were adequate. It was also spotless clean and had a great sound system and projector screen. As for the location, the scenic area is just outside at the doorstep, but the hotel is very peaceful still. There is a nice Delonghi machine to make a good expresso in the morning. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and cozy. I don't speak Chinese but this was not a problem - with the translator apps everything was easy. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to beautiful Wuyuan!!

Living in the Wuyuan Huangling晒秋 painting, this family suite is perfect for kids! Bringing the kids to Wuyuan Huangling to see the 'Shaiqiu' (sun-drying harvest) was the best decision, especially staying one night right in the scenic area! We chose a family suite within the resort, and the experience was truly fantastic. The suite was incredibly spacious, spread over two floors, and checking in felt like a delightful surprise, like opening a 'mystery box'. The room was thoughtfully divided into a kids' play area and a relaxation zone, which earned it full marks from my child. The biggest advantage of staying within the scenic area is saving time and effort! No need to rush for the cable car in the morning, and no worries about its operating hours. When the kids get tired, they can head back to the room to rest anytime. In the evening, we could explore the 'Shai Gongfang' (drying workshops) and 'Wu Gui Tang' (Five Osmanthus Hall), and watch the 'Shaiqiu' panoramic view at sunset from above – it was absolutely breathtaking. Don't miss the 'Flowing Light Forest' light show at night; the little ones loved it, feeling like they had stepped into a fairy tale. During the day, when there were more tourists, we relaxed in our room and enjoyed the views. As evening approached and the crowds dispersed, the ancient village became quiet, which was the best time to appreciate the 'Shaiqiu'. Waking up and opening the window to see the ancient village and drying crops in the morning mist – every photo taken was stunning. This experience of living within the scenery and fully immersing ourselves in the 'Shaiqiu' is truly something you can only enjoy by staying overnight.

We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!

Choosing Xixinyuan for our Gexian Village trip was definitely the right decision. The hotel is nestled within the scenic area, backed by mountains and overlooking a lake. Its tranquil and elegant environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the commercial street, creates a wonderful atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony. During the day, you can admire the lush green mountains, and at night, you can enjoy the dazzling night view of Zhongmiao Pavilion without even leaving your room. It was a fantastic experience.

This is supposedly the best hotel in Sanqingshan, and since there was a discount for staying two consecutive nights, I decided to book it. The location is about 1.1 km from the Jinsha cable car, which is convenient whether you walk or take a taxi. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the Jinsha cable car in the morning. It's also very convenient to get to the Gangshou cable car, about a 10-minute taxi ride costing around 10-something yuan. I'd recommend the Gangshou cable car more as there's no queue. In the evenings, the hotel offers a light show and performances, and there are many options in the children's play area, including a fun pedal train. The only downsides are that it's a bit old and a little damp. The pancakes at the hotel breakfast were delicious, both the large and small ones, especially the preserved vegetable pancakes. I shamelessly packed a few as snacks for my hike up Sanqingshan – they were nice and savory – and filled a bottle with orange juice. That's how I completed the grand loop trail.

I stayed at Tea Sage Luxury Wilderness Villa, Wunuzhou Resort ([婺女洲度假区茶圣·奢野别墅]) during the last week of March, which was an off-peak period. It turned out to be a great time to visit because the crowds were manageable and the park did not feel too overwhelming. I would recommend checking in on a Friday or Saturday, as there are usually fireworks on those nights. It is best to confirm the schedule on the resort website before booking. One of the best parts of staying here is that the hotel booking includes free entrance to the theme park, which offers very good value. There are many things to see and do inside the park, so it is worth planning enough time to explore. I stayed in the Detached Duplex with Slide Suite. The room was very spacious and clean, and the slide added a fun touch. The villa is also very close to 抱玉塔, where the main performances and fireworks take place. However, this room type does not have a view of the fireworks or shows. Some other room types do offer those views, so it is worth asking the hotel staff at check-in if they can assign you a room with a better view. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a typical Chinese hotel buffet selection. My suggestion is to spend the first day focusing on the night shows and performances. On the second day after check-out, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and continue enjoying the theme park, including the games and NPC interactions, before heading to your next destination.

The hotel is located right near the Waishuangxi Ropeway. We stayed in the Yunxi building, which has a great environment, nestled by the mountains and a stream. The hotel room was also very spacious, well-equipped, and clean. Parking was convenient and free. Our whole family loved it.

The experience at Gexian Village Zhenshan Homestay was excellent! The guesthouse is nestled against the mountains, offering a serene and peaceful environment. Our room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. Opening the window revealed beautiful green mountains as far as the eye could see. The location is superb, right next to the cable car, making it incredibly convenient to access the scenic area. The staff were warm and attentive, even proactively offering us a travel guide. Breakfast had a rich variety of dishes and authentic local flavors. Staying here, surrounded by the mountains, the nights were quiet and tranquil. It offers great value for money and is definitely the top choice when visiting Gexian Village. Highly recommended!
