A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

Environment: The hotel's decoration design is aesthetically pleasing. Whether it is the small courtyard or the flower arrangement in the restaurant, it is artistic and worth appreciating. The overall design is relatively new and very clean and tidy. Service: Every boss in the store (I think they are all bosses) is very friendly, especially the tall lady who serves tea in the evening. Her smile is very contagious. Food: The focus is on afternoon tea. The appearance and taste are both online. I like osmanthus black tea and tangerine peel melon seeds very much. I also order meals here. Although the price is higher than that of restaurants outside, the environment and hygiene are friendly. I have to say that Jiuhua bamboo shoots fried meat and the small cold dishes of snow vegetables and fresh bamboo shoots in the morning are really delicious😋

The location is fantastic. There are two important bus stops on Jiuhua Mountain: Yingxianqiao Station, the final stop for buses from the tourist service center at the foot of the mountain, and Huxingshan Bus Station, the starting and ending point for the circular bus service around the mountain. Ruyi B&B is very close to both stations. Many popular restaurants, supermarkets, fruit shops, and pharmacies are also nearby, making it very convenient. The B&B is newly renovated and clean. The owners are warm and friendly, and always accommodating.

The fruit provided by the hotel is delicious, and the proprietress has been making tea for us. It's really good! ! In addition, I felt that the taste was heavy after eating in different restaurants in Jiuhuashan. After chatting with the proprietress, he helped us arrange a lighter meal! ! The misty rain was on Jiuhua Mountain, the air was humid and cold, but I couldn't feel it at all when I entered the house. The reception girl and the aunt were very warm. They warmly opened the floor heating in the room in advance. The room was warm and comfortable. The quilt was dry and tidy and smelled very clean. Because I took the elderly, I lived for two days, most of the time I ate in the store. The kitchen was very clean and tasted good. It was no different from the outside restaurant. I also warmly helped us leave the chicken soup that was not finished to the evening. I used to come to Jiuhuashan every year, this time I lived the most comfortable time. I chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent. However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there. While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled. The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions. Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience. I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking. I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

The hotel environment was surprisingly good, with a very zen-like decor. The owners were also very warm and attentive. The owner personally drove to Yingxian Bridge to pick us up, and the hostess's cooking was absolutely superb! The mountain scenery was also fantastic. It was truly a trip with great food, great accommodation, and great views.

What a perfect weekend getaway! A five-star hotel with excellent facilities at a reasonable price. You can soak in the hot springs in the afternoon and have chicken soup in the evening. The next day, we went hiking, and they even gave us tickets to Jiuziyan (Nine Sons Rock), which we could drive up in – fantastic! The hotel receptionists, Xiao Zhang and Xiao Li, were incredibly helpful and provided many helpful tips for our visit. Excellent!
